I decided that I wanted to look into more local resources for food and came across this quaint meat shop. Who knows where they get that packaged stuff at the chain grocery and what it has been injected with/​marinated in! The lady (didn’t get her name!) that greeted me when I came in was very nice. She told me about their process and the meats they had available. I selected two steaks, two packs of chicken breast, and a pack of their house smoked bacon. The steaks were out of this world! So this is what beef is supposed to taste like?!? Prices are surprisingly comparable to the grocery store and they even offer packages anywhere from ¼, ½, to whole cow/​hog. I may have to invest in a freezer! I will definitely be back!
