Subway

Well you learn to expect a certain level of performance from the executive chefs behind the counter at the local Subway. I mean from their paper-​thin transparent ill-​fitting plastic gloves to their hair nets. The ”sub of the day” was Tuna. I suppose their sensibilities towards Catholics and Fish on Fridays dictates this choice. Ok… so slather the carefully dished out micro-​ice-​cream scoop of soupy tuna-​fish salad (2 scoops exactly and not a pinch more) on a 6″ sub. And the lady behind the counter must have been a novice, as it took her twice as long as the usual; she stumbled thru the whole sandwich making process. Count twice and place the correct number of cheese slices on the bread not a single slice more or you will lose your promotion.
Yikes, Am glad I was here on off hours, cuz it would have taken her 2 hrs to process 2 costumers. Well the sub of the day 6″ was only $ 3. So at least it was a deal.
.The whole time I was standing in line I was ruminating about Jim Gaffigan’s Subway routine… «Eat Fresh» well at least I was not thinking of Jared.

I had not been to Subway for months. My nearby Subway changed management, and would not make the sandwich as I requested. I was short changed on sub ingredients, and my wife and I threw out the lousy subs.
But these new guys were absolutely perfect. The roll was cut so that every bite has meat and veggies. I got the ingredients that I asked for, and I even got more than one extra napkin when I asked for them. The seating was great, and the windows gave a nice view.
There was trash on the floor, so we moved down the row, but I’m still giving them 5 stars since they restored my faith in the restaurant chain.

I’m not a huge subway fan but this place is clean quick and very nice. They didn’t have change for a $ 100 bill but the guys there went and got change for me. So sweet! I’ll go there again.

Yay! Subway in Garner!
I have actually heard that there is another Subway in Garner, but this location is so darn convenient! Right off of highway 70 and in the same strip as the newly opened 5^th Avenue Coffee Café. Perfect!
Our first visit was a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean and organized. The seating is unique is this sort of half-​moon shaped layout. The ingredients of our subs were fresh and delicious. This will most definitely be our new fast-​food joint of choice… and more healthy to boot!
Great job, Subway of 5^th Ave… keep up the good work!
