I read all the great reviews and thought I’d try this place again. I gave up a couple years ago because it sktd. Still does! I don’t know, maybe it’s a regional thing but I’ve Yet to find a good restaurant within 100 miles of here regardless of the price. All I can say is if you’re not from around here I lay bank you’ll agree with me. I got a roasted pork dish and when I opened the container I smelled Nothing! Not so much as a hint of even garlic, the Four(yep 4) pieces of pork looked like they were julienned and tasted old a couple carrot match sticks and a pile of no flavor noodles the size of my head. Egg rolls were like always, doughy and mealy. I got a refund and was told they«sell a lot of.» and like I said, maybe it’s regional but I don’t doubt that they Do sell a lot of that Carp.

China Garden will forever have my heart for Chinese food in Garner but since it is no longer open China King is my go-to spot. Personally I always order the Szechaun Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice. And, if I am feeling extra hungry I will throw on an order of Crab Rangoons. Quick, convenient and delicious Chinese food at an affordable price.

Excellent chicken lo main. Very disappointing crab rangoons. Basically only cream cheese… womp womp.

This is my go-to Chinese joint. My usual is the lunch chicken lo-mien. Always fresh and hot and you get a lot of food. Sometimes I eat about half and save it for lunch for the next day. Cheap and good eatin’!

China King is apperantly under new management, better management. I decided that I would get some carryout because it is real close to my house. I was really shocked at how much better the food was. Then I realized none of the people I usally see were there. If you have tried them before or are looking at reviews from a few months back give them a try. The new owners seem to have made some big improvements.

Although the crab Rangoon were a little disproportionate and over cooked, everything else was amazing! I highly recommend the roasted pork lo mein! So glad this is close to my house!(Wish they delivered!)

Try the Chow Mai Fun(Chinese Rice Stick– Noodles)… It’s not spicy so be sure to ask them to spice it up if that’s how you roll. Great take out for the family for $ 15 to $ 25. We’ve been getting take out here for 10 years with way more ups than downs. They have a few table where you can eat-in as well.

Good quality food. Even though the place has a definite ‘take-out’ feel — They have a few tables in a small seating area which is nice since there are so few sit-down Chinese restaurants around. Everything always tastes fresh and the staff is quite accommodating and friendly. I probably wouldn’t drive across town to get here — but a really solid choice if you’re in the area. You will leave happy and full.
