I’ve been a regular here since I retired a couple of years ago. Shopping here reminds me of my childhood when my exceedingly cheap mom would take me to the Holsum Day old bread store in Oak Cliff. If I was lucky she would buy me a stale cupcake. Something must have rubbed off. These days I take my exceedingly cheap self to this place for bargain priced bread products. If you can get over the fact that the product has been pulled from the shelves of various stores around Dallas you can save some change getting still fresh and freezer ready bread. My favorite is the Sandwich Rounds. They are too expensive to buy at the grocery but are presently 3@$ 5.50. Other products offer similar savings. Also, if you like Mexican snack food, this place has a good selection.
Bonus: spend $ 6 and you get one free item off the blue rack. Wednesday gets Seniors a 10% discount. The blue punch card, when filled, gets you one free item and it fills up fast.
And the staff is both friendly and helpful.
