The clerk told me the hotel is seven years old, but it looks and feels brand new. He said they take pride in keeping it like home. It has the latest décor that I am familiar with at La Quinta, such as the freestanding lavatory table in the bathroom. It was a spotless room. The stainless plumbing fixtures gleamed like new. Everything was shiny clean and in perfect repair. The room was very well appointed with crown molding, textured ceilings, a firm king bed, spotless linens, a large fridge, a 37-inch cable TV, a recliner, ergonomic desk chair, plenty of outlets, and good lighting and lamps spaced around the room. All the expected amenities were there, including a larger-than-normal fridge. The lobby was spacious, as was the breakfast area, with lots of comfortable seating. The breakfast offerings included two waffle makers as well as the usual hot-food staples of this class of hotel. Unfortunately, you can’t make precooked eggs and sausage patties look that good, but hot is hot. There are meeting rooms and a spacious«business center» with PC and printer. Wifi was strong. The hotel has replaced vending machines with the«market» of goods for sale in the lobby, but we did not check prices. Our desk clerks were attentive, friendly, communicative, and efficient, much more like what you’d expect in a larger hotel than a roadside place. This hotel must be very well constructed. Our room was next to the elevator, but we could not hear it at all. And it was on a busy freeway, but the road traffic was barely noticeable.

The most beautiful La Quinta I’ve ever stayed at. Been open 3 years but looks like barely 1. Staff are really friendly and the location isn’t far from Lake Hubbard. You would be hard pressed to find a better value in the area.
