Horrible restaurant allows smoking inside and has roaches inside the kitchen crawling around

Having a smoking section in a restaurant these days is obscene. I like the Senior Starter breakfast, but not at this location. I can still taste the smoke. Disgusting!!!

We just left Denny’s and experienced slow service, hair in our food (in the scrambled eggs) and a manager who could careless. She was so nonchalant and wasn’t concerned about fixing the issue. Will no longer be dining there.

Food was good, cooked to order and fast due to it being empty. The problem is the smoking and non-​smoking areas are the same. Sat in non-​smoking and getting overwhelmed by the smoke smell. IF I come back, I will ask to sit as far away from smoking area as I can.

Aside from the fact that my waitress was the sweetest little grandma in the world. .the restaurant itself is packed to capacity, waiting to be seated. waiting for your food and the temperature in the place is on hell. the staff seems to be really good spirited the Manager is just at work so he won’t get fired.2 stars.

Apparently you can still smoke in this place. There is no difference between «smoking» and «non-​smoking»… The food took forever and the smell of smoke was just awful.

We walked in and overwhelmed by cigarette smoke and stale bacteria carpet. We sat down and almost left immediately due to the smell alone. Hope the food is good. But will not return to this location due to horrible smell the place holds.

I’m only giving this a two star review because the food does happen to be delicious, when it manages to come out hot.
One of the reviewers noted that the services is better at 3 am. I agree hands down. I’ve been going here for over a year now and I tend to only go between midnight and 4am.
I recall ordering the avocado Caesar salad, which was good, but I had three avocado slices in the salad and I has to ask (and be charged) for extra. This was around 8pm on a Tuesday night.
Here recently they won’t pick up their phone for call in orders at all. 7 am and no one will pick up the phone for 5 – 10 minutes. In the time I’ve waited to place a pick up order I could have arrived at my destination. Insane. When prompted about the phone all the hostess would say is «I don’t think it works»
Surely a «I apologize out phone system is down at the moment, we’ve called maintenance and it should be taken care of soon» would be more customer friendly than «I have no clue, I don’t think it works»
I don’t really like eating THERE as the only man who had fantastic people skills quit.

The fact I’m still waiting here for my food at this Denny’s while I’m writing this says a lot. Out waitress has been inattentive and we have waited for our order while people who came in after us have came in and left. This service is ridiculous. I brought my mom and grandma her cause they like Denny’s but this service is so bad that we are literally on the verge of leaving.

Major Memorial Day Fail Denny’s! I went to celebrate with my family and had the worst service I’ve ever had anywhere. We love Denny’s but today was ridiculous and unacceptable. 30 minute wait time on a busy holiday lunch: acceptable. 15 min to get a drink order in: annoying. An hour and a half waiting for food: ridiculous! An hour and a half waiting to be served COLD food: UNACCEPTABLE. They waited until nearly the entire restaurant cleared out before serving us, a party of 8. All the while, the manager was outside, taking on his cell phone and when I complained, he says oh no big deal, it will be right out. I walked out with a hungry two year old without eating bc I was not about to wait another hour for food. Denny’s is usually one of my favorite places, but I call major fail today guys. So disappointed… and hungry.
The two meals that were hot were so good. The other six or five should I say were 2 thumbs down. **two of the meals ordered never came out at all** Refill on kids drinks? Forget about it.
On the other hand the service and food is WAYYYY better at 3am.

I been here several times for breakfast mostly. When ever money is tight I know I can go to Denny’s to feed my family of 4. The breakfast is simple items I really don’t venture to eat the crazy new items That are always introduce. But the coffee is good, it has a fresh roast taste. The service is good but it depends who is your waiter. The place gets packed Saturday mornings with people trying to eat breakfast. The staff can get a little overwhelmed sometimes and can neglect your table. The food does make it out to you, but the staff is very nice and I definitely come back. The coupons in the mail help save money!

They currently have the Hobbit menu going on! Which is basically 98% of the reason I decided to visit. I’m never generally impressed with Denny’s because they are usually understaffed and the service really isn’t good. My meal was AWESOME, though! I ordered the Hobbit Hole, which was incredible (I posted the picture) and I was giddy the whole time because I’m a huge nerd.
I’d make a trip to a Denny’s soon to try the new (temporary) menu, but I only go to Denny’s for specific reasons, like this.

Denny’s is not at the top of my list of favorite restaurants. However, this particular diner has a manager who is concerned about treating people right. We had a large group (more than 15) and came in unannounced and in a hurry. He made sure we were taken care of and we were able to get out in time. To look at this place I would never eat here, but because of my experience here I am suggesting it to others.

Can you ever really go wrong with Dennys? Probably not. They still have a smoking section for those of you who partake in nicotene or those who yearn for a time… ok ok I will spare the rhetoric. It’s a diner, it’s a chain, and it’s open 24 hours a day. The food ranges from moderately unhealthy, to a heart attack on a plate. It’s not gourmet, it’s not fancy or trendy, they serve tried and true classics and comfort food. You can order anything you want, anytime of day. If you want a burger and pancakes at 2 am, huzzah! Lot’s of kid friendly food here as well, plus a slightly better environment as compared to say McDonalds. Okay better for the adults, maybe not the kids. Seriously this was one of the few places my father could take my brother and I as kids that didn’t result in one or both of us fussing.
