Not impressed at all. No hospitality and terrible management. Will not recommend. They don’t deserve your hard earned money.

A harrowing experience — rooms are reasonably clean and comfortable but there’s a flea bag, crack house motel right next door with live in residents who freely access the facilities at this Days Inn. Well maintained pool, if you don’t mind being approached by urchins from next door, begging for money, cigarettes(and other unmentionables) while trying to relax by the pool. :O Urchins(from next door) approached my vehicle at night(again, begging) while coming and going, there appeared to be a prostitution ring operating next door, and the management here seemed unwilling or unable to deal with the fact that non-patrons were rigging the locked entrances so the urchins could come in the building whenever they wanted access. They even shared the continental breakfast with patrons(gaining access through the front entrance, right in front of the front desk and management). The housekeeping staff were very friendly but the people at the front desk were not especially hospitable. I also left a piece of jewelry there, management was aware of it and said they had it in safe keeping and would return it. Seven or eight months later, they still have not returned it and apparently have no intention of doing so.

We got this since it was the closest thing to a church we needed to get to the next day that had decent reviews. We booked through a website and confirmed/paid with a credit card. When we got in, they told us they overbooked and sent us to a Super 8 down the road. The Super 8 had us worrying about our safety. It was a little late by then(10pm) to be looking for another place, so we had no choice but to stay. I did my research to find a good hotel and they overbooked and sent us to a crappy one. Either I missed the apology or there wasn’t one given. Had the guest computer in the lobby been working, I would’ve checked the internet for reviews of the place they were sending us to before accepting.

This is the best deal for a hotel in the DFW area. Pulling into a Days Inn hotel, my expectations were probably what anyone would expect pulling into a Days Inn hotel. Mine were, «It’ll do…» The most important thing in a hotel for me is how clean it is. This place was spotless. The Internet connection was fine for me(around 5 meg down, 1 meg up). The only issue was the wireless signal was poor. It required you to plug into the wall to receive adequate Internet speed. The lobby is comfortable and the swimming pool is well maintained. Free complimentary breakfast every morning(cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, juices, muffins…) Each room has plenty of space and comes with a fridge and microwave. There really isn’t a fitness center(other than two treadmills), but there is a washer/dryer that can be used. It’s a small hotel with probably no more than 40 rooms. It’s not a luxury suite, but it’s definitely a clean and comfortable environment. I stayed at this hotel for one night and also for a 10 day span. I will recommend it to anyone. The only possible complaint would be the train tracks that run next to it. I would usually hear about one train per night on average(sometimes none at all).

Just spent a night here at this Days Inn in Garland. When visiting Dallas we simply looked for online reviews wanting something clean and cheap in a safe area. Now I can say that the previous reviews we read on another site were very accurate. This hotel was exceptionally clean, as in spotless. The staff were genuine and were honestly accommodating. They really did make certain that we were happy with our visit. If you look at a map that includes railroad tracks you will see that a train does run by right next to this hotel. Trains don’t bother us and we were just curious how that would work out. As it turns out only a single train went by which did blow it’s horn before the closest intersection but it was far enough away that it was not bothersome. For the price of $ 40 we were very happy with this selection. We did notice that airline crews and a good number of company staff stay here. I was completely prepared to give a Unilocal 4 star however I can not simply due to the Internet access. I got online for about 2 minutes around 2am, and it crashed almost instantly. The Internet went out in the entire hotel, even to the lobby and front desk and was unavailable for the entire duration of our stay. A backup ISP would prevent that from happening. We would most certainly stay here again.
