Rich Machado and the staff at Collinsworth Car Care are one of a kind! As an outside sales representative of the greater DFW area, my car takes quite a beating. The combination of unpredictable and extreme Dallas weather, normal wear and tear, ever-​increasing mileage and an older vehicle makes for the perfect storm. It’s reassuring to know I’ve found a place that doesn’t cut corners, views me as more than a number, takes the time to read between the lines, and can make something out of my non-​car-​speak. I truly believe they have my best interest and safety in mind. As a single young woman this is especially meaningful. I no longer have to question if I’m being told the truth or taken advantage of. I’m immediately put at ease and love the welcoming environment and crew to such a degree that I actually look forward to things like getting my oil changed!

I used this shop based on other reviewers. My husband’s car hasn’t worked in about two years. I had it towed here and asked them to let me know if it was worth fixing. They were so helpful! It needs a new engine which they don’t do, but he found me a place and got me a quote. Told me the base cost of fixing it then suggested I check Kelly Blue Book to see what the car was worth. So thankful for their help and honesty!

Shopping used cars from outta town and GLAD we found this place! Finding a car is stressful enough, so locating a dependable and honest auto consultant is a godsend! Jonathan has proven to be extremely knowledgable, thorough, and refreshingly honest as we have screened used cars. I had my own inspection notes and he proved himself able to hit every single note. He took about 45 minutes to drive, inspect, and assess each car, very attentive to listening and answering our questions. Great for good tips and advice, ended up saving us about $ 600 off sticker price! If you’re a local, this seems an exceptionally high quality auto repair spot.

We have been using Jonathan at Collinsworth for many years. They kept my wife’s minivan alive for many years past its due and now work on my son’s truck as well. My car is a foreign make but they don’t do foreign car work. They are honest, forthright and most importantly won’t rip you off. Jonathan will call with an estimate then do the work and charge you what he said it would be.
Their shop is always kept clean and they are very well organized. Highly recommended!

I chose this place on a recommendation. The serpentine belt on my car needed to be replaced. The very helpful lady at the counter provided me an estimate then said she’d call. Less than three hours later the car was ready, at the exact price quoted.
The place was very organized and clean, practically spotless in the work and customer areas.
Bottom line: professional, honest, speedy and all at a reasonable price. I don’t know what else one could ask for in a mechanic.
