This place is great. I used to live in the neighborhood and would order take out at least once a week. The food is always hot and fresh. They offer lunch specials which are a great value. Orange chicken, shrimp in lobster sauce and beef and broccoli are excellent. My wife was a big fan of the shrimp fried rice and she doesn’t like Chinese food. The couple that run the place are great!

We love this place. Very quiet and clean. They take good care of you in the service area. It has a large menu selection and they cook to order– so if you want «less salt» — you get «less salt». Highly recommended if your «low level» Chine light is flashing.

Avoid this place. It is the absolute worst Chinese food we have ever not eaten. We ordered dinner for 3 for take out. My wife ordered Hunan chicken, my daughter General Tso’s chicken, and I ordered Sczechun beef. We ordered the fried rice, soup, and eggrolls too. The fried rice was nasty. It looked and tasted like it was a week old. My Sczechun beef had very little beef and was mostly celery. The sauce was disgusting. My daughter said the chicken tasted old and was way to sweet. And my wife who happens to be Korean was throughly unhappy with the Hunan chicken and rice. I paid $ 37.75 for this and it all went into the trash.

Great service and great food. The portions are massive and pretty affordable. Even the lunch portion is enough for 2 meals. They also offer pickup and delivery. I ordered pickup and was able to get my food from the convenient drive-​thru within 10 minutes. The beef and broccoli was great and the egg rolls were surprisingly really good. Also, if you’re ordering for a large group, they offer a huge «happy family» meal for under $ 30. Will definitely be returning.

Great neighborhood find! The food has generous portions for the money, and is solid tasty food. I liked the spring rolls in particular. Not gourmet, but I’m looking for a hungry family pleaser, not exotic expensive food. The owner was very friendly, very generous, and packaged our to go meal for 4 himself.

We live 75 miles away and this is a must stop everytime we come to the metroplex. Exceptionally fine food served by warm and wonderful people. If you like Chinese food you will love this establishment.

I wish I could give a better rating because I could walk here, so convenient, but after ordering here multiple times, it is always the same, the food just doesn’t taste right, my Unilocalers let me down on this one, I don’t want it happen to anyone else, good luck.

My favorite menu item is the Fried Shrimp Balls.
They are wonderful with tartar sauce or cocktail sauce.
I discovered their menu while staying at a hotel. Their delivery service is some of the quickest ever. And the drivers are always friendly.
The woman who took my order even made sure we had cups of ice for our sodas!

I just had it delivered to me is the worst food I’ve ever had I will never ever order from them again I had to throw it away and we order from another restaurant

My dad and I have been coming here for about a year now and we are so happy we stumbled upon this gem. The owners are absolutely wonderful and take care of us each and every time we come in to dine. I love the spring rolls and the egg rolls and the egg drop soup is delicious. They have fantastic sweet and sour sauce as well. I usually get either the beef and broccoli or the orange chicken which are both amazing. The «po-​po» platter is equally delicious especially the crab raggoons. Mmmmm. Everything my dad has tried he has thoroughly enjoyed as well (he tries something new every time). We are very picky with our Chinese cuisine and this place takes the gold. Try it next time you’re in Garland– you won’t be disappointed !!

This is the best Chinese food I’ve had around this area we’re defiantly coming back and has a drive thru very convenient. We ate the sesame chicken and fried rice.

Nice Chinese place that does carry out and delivery to my apartment. Great Orange chicken and rice and lunch specials. Both me and my roommate like this place. Fast delivery to garland and free service.

I get the same thing every time I come here. Combination fried rice with extra egg an extra onions. The rice has a good sweet and buttery taste to it. It’s my favorite fried rice I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place for dining in, it’s a little on the dirty side and they’re right next door to a pickle place so you get the aroma of pickles while you’re eating. I’ve also ordered takeout for the whole family once or twice. I can’t recall exactly what we ordered but I do remember that the food was just okay nothing special. But if you like fried rice I highly recommend it. And they remember you and what you order somehow. I will go for months sometimes without ordering and when I call they know me by name and they know exactly what I want and how I want it. It was like that on the second time I called. Very impressive.

Sweetest old man running the place in the evening. The food was delicious. Portions were large. «Chips & dip» (I.e. Wontons with sweet & sour sauce) was served along with our soup. Very quaint, but pleasant atmosphere.

Exactly what you want from a Chinese food delivery place. Food was tasty and affordable. Egg drop soup is awesome. The woman who waited on us was so friendly and attentive.

Tuesday, I was having my cravings for Chinese food. We called in our order. I love the service here! We were earlier than we said we would be so I waited in the car while my partner got the food. So the only thing I can say is the gentleman that took the order was very polite over the phone and in person. My partner said he was very funny and warm.
We both ordered chicken fried rice and egg rolls. Everything was amazing. It was just the right portion. We’re keeping this one as our go to Chinese restaurant.

Absolutely the best Chinese food around! Freshly made when you order with fresh ingredients. The husband and wife couple that owns it is so nice and always happy to see returning customers.
They have a great deal called a Happy Meal… you get 2 entrees, soup, rice, and egg rolls or spring rolls, all for great price. You get enough food that you can take home some with you!

Let me start by saying that I love Chinese food and can be a tough critic with the various food establishments I have had the opportunity to enjoy. With that being said, I give five stars and two thumbs up for China Café. I have been a «regular» at this restaurant for many years because I appreciate their great tasting food, friendly environment, and caring customer service.
I definitely recommend the Combination Fried Rice & the Chicken Fried Rice (less that $ 10). If your heart so desires, you can ask them to go ahead and make it spicy (mild, medium, or hot) or you can use the pepper-​oil sauce they include on the side to make it to your liking. Though I usually take my order to-​go, I love the mom-​pop environment and the culture this restaurant stands for. The owners, (Fred & Nancy), are very kind-​hearted, genuine good people that have been with the restaurant ever since they started it back in early 1990s.
P. S. — If you are not satisfied with your food, just let them know and they’ll take care of you!

The last thing we ordered from there was horrible. The rice was red and everything had a spoiled look

My family ordered delivery from here tonight and really enjoyed everything we purchased.
The delivery was actually early, and the person who answered the phone was very careful about getting our order taken correctly.
We ordered:
Moo Goo Gai Pan — nothing exciting, but it’s not an exciting dish to begin with
Mongolian Beef — very sweet, but tasty
Twice Cooked Pork — a bit spicy and a bit sweet, more of a barbecued pork than what I was expecting, but tasty just the same
Egg rolls — standard
The meats were well trimmed — I usually have to trim some amount of gristle from my chicken or pork. The vegetables actually tasted like vegetables. We all enjoyed the meal, and I’m writing this review so I’ll remember where I ate next time I’m in town looking for Chinese!
