Sicily Pizzeria & Trattoria

This place at one time was my family’s go to pizzeria but sadly we have moved on. The pizza is good but nothing out of the ordinary. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken Parmesan sandwich and strawberry salad! Canolis are pretty tasty as well.
We have received quite a few pies that looked as if the delivery driver must have been driving like a maniac. Cheese stuck to the entire top of the box and sauce everywhere. Delivery is usually 35 – 40 mins.
They do give you scratch coupons when you order which give you $ 2 dollars off or a free pie! b
I also would skip ordering the Sicilian pie. The last one we ordered was just unappealing as we opened the box and tasted pretty bland.

The pizza here has a thin and crispy crust with lots of gooey cheese. I ordered a plain slice and garlic knots. Their garlic knots are very soft and meaty, almost like a double knot and they werent burnt to a crisp like I’ve had at some other places. Overall, a solid pizza place!

Awesome fast delivery great tasting Italian hero and the Tartuffe is the best I have ever tasted. I will definitely order again

This was my first time going to this pizzeria and it filled my expectations. I ordered a few this for me and my family. I got the plain pizza and it was cooked to perfection and I also got the garlic nut did not have a lot of garlic like other pizzerias I was actually better than others x100. I also got the rice ball and it was also cooked perfectly and the rice was nice and hot. The price were great and they came with coupons and a scratch and win card and I won a free pizza the next time I came that was a cool little thing to include to my order. I will definitely come again!!!

They used to be one of my favorites but not anymore. I ordered my food at 8:20…its now 9:25pm and they are just bagging it!!! Over an hour and it still needs to be delivered. Pathetic. Tell your customers it will take over an hour, not 30 – 40 minutes just to make a sale.

I ordered from this restaurant on seamless and was very disappointed. None of the food was good and they even got part of my order wrong. I ordered a rice ball, which was average at best, with ground beef that tasted like I could have made it at home and I personally think I could have still done a better job. The rice also wasn’t very good. I also ordered a Cesar salad. The dressing was too thick and way too peppery and the croutons were cooked with too much butter. I ordered the gnocchi as well which arrived swimming in under-​seasoned tomato sauce that was way too acidic that has now given me horrendous heartburn. Lastly, I ordered veal Milanese which is the part of my order they got wrong. I’m not even quite sure what they sent me but I can only assume it was veal Marsala instead, but it definitely wasn’t what I wanted. This all proves that on top of the fact that their food isn’t all that great, they are WAY over priced for what they are serving. I will not be ordering from here again.

Hair in the food!
I ordered a pasta dish. Halfway through the meal I felt something in my mouth like a hair. I grabbed the hair and pulled it out of my mouth and it was attached to a ball of lint and black hair. I have brown hair and no one else in the house has black hair. DISGUSTING!

First time I ordered from this establishment and I have to say my first impression is not a good one, nor will I order from them again.
My food was fine, it wasn’t anything special — a grilled chicken/​mozzarella/​roasted red pepper wrap and caprese salad. What got to me was that I ordered through their web site. It states 30 – 45 minute delivery time. An hour and 10 or so minutes had passed since I put my order in and still had not received my food. So I call and get the receptionist — whom I tell the ordeal to, get put on hold and I assume the manager next. I was told the web hosting company they use, Chow4Now, is supposed to contact Sicily when they have an online order and they did not. So now, the food is to be cooked and sent to my home within 30 minutes (which actually happened). I’m assuming «contacting» must mean an email from their service to your local computer systems.
SIX HOURS LATER I receive a phone call from the delivery person, stating that I did not pay my bill when he arrived. On the contrary — I paid you the money, and you started to walk away and saw me still standing at my front door — then asked «Oh, how much change did you want back?» So now, a first time customer is being accused of stiffing the bill because the drive lost /​was most likely short the amount.
I can find the same items elsewhere, for cheaper — yes you’re expensive — and MUCH BETTER service, minimally from the delivery person

I walked in for an early lunch and the garlic knots were just coming out of the oven… I had to eat them, crisp, airy and delicious. I went for a couple of slices, tried their grandma’s pie, delicious. So much on the menu, a little too much. I will be back soon!

Was excited I received a coupon for some pretty good deals — 1 Large Cheese pie, Dozen Buffalo Wings and a 2 liter soda for $ 19.95+tax. Delivery was quick but unfortunately the pizza was burnt and also the wings that came with no sauce. Disappointed and we where all left hungry. Good prices/​coupons, Cute scratch off coupon given with receipt… Just up your cooking game. Grrrrowl!!! (My belly)

OK… wanted pizza & my regular pizza place was closed due to a fire. This place was recommended.
I’m giving it 2 stars cuz the pizza at best didn’t suck.
We ordered 2 appts only received 1. We ordered a pizza & asked for garlic & got charged for X-​TRA garlic. huh??? The ONE app that we did get (fried calamari,) sucked at best… as if they deep fried it in a ball cuz that’s how it was packed… I usually don’t get a «ball» of calamari where I have to rip the pieces apart to eat them… total cost $ 31.95 UGH

Amazing food, I’ve had it all, I literally eat here 4 – 5 a week, sometimes twice in a day. From pizza, to boils, to salads, paninis, sandwiches, this place is it. The pizza is as close as I’ll get to my original new york pizza. Owner is so nice, and so is the staff. If you’re looking for food that didn’t come from a frozen bag, order from here.

This review is for delivery. I kept it simple and ordered a large cheese pie. In my opinion if a pizzeria cant make a good pie, I dont even bother with the rest of food.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the pie. The slices have a nice thin and crunchy crust. The cheese is delicious and cooked just right. Gooey and cheesey but not sogging up the crust or falling off the pizza.
Delivery was really fast, maybe 25 minutes tops.
I look forward to trying some more of their food and plan to update my review if need be.
As for now I recommend this place for some good olé jersey pizza!

Really good food and very friendly guys. Large portions so you will eat well. Authentic Italian restaurant. There is one dish in particular that I really went crazy for.
My buddies and I came out of the Jiu Jitsu school to get some food and one guy mentioned this place. I expected a large fancy restaurant but it was a regular pizzeria. Now, a pizzeria is a pizzeria but it’s the friendliness and the quality of the food that made this place stand out.
The preparation was really good. They laid out the antipasto in a row and separated each part into sections. That antipasto was very good.
The only thing I would say needed some work was the pasta. The pasta was good but it wasn’t as great as some other places I’ve been to but every place has their strengths and weaknesses.
I would return in a heartbeat for that antipasto and especially for this one dish I haven’t had called a crustini. They had it as a lunch style and then for desert they had another style of crustini with nutella and white powder sugar.

Great Food. Fresh Ingredients and overall fast delivery. I am glad they have chicken soup for the. cold days. Sandwiches ate delish and the meatballs at moist and tasty.

One word: Amazing.
The food is top notch and the portions are huge. The staff is friendly. The place is clean. Unique pizza selections (the chicken cesar salad pizza is sooo good).

came here for lunch and the staff was super friendly. We called ahead to have our food ready by a certain time, and they were on top of it…
We got the grilled chicken italiano panini and it came with a side salad. Its a pretty big portion and i really enjoyed it…
I didnt try the pizza but it smelled really yummy! You can park right in front.

Authentic Sicilian food… Finally! Order the Sfincione, a specialty Sicilian pie from the Palermo area. (It’s not on the menu) I will put this against any Grandma pie in NJ! Even beats the «Palermo» at La Sicilia in Belleville. I’m not kidding! It’s heaven in a pizza.
I’ve also had a personal Whole Wheat pizza here. Best I’ve ever had. Light and tasty. You have to ask for it. Had mine with Broccoli Rabe, sausage & garlic. Tell them to put sauce on it because they often make the personal pies without tomato sauce.
Also had a mouthwatering Broccoli Rabe and Grilled Chicken panini that melted in my mouth.
Been here 4 times now since it opened. Once the secret gets out, it will become a Jersey institution.
Why go anywhere else?

This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious Italian food coffee and desserts… First time eating there, but since it was a group of us, we had a chance to sample a few of their dishes. I will tell you this… if your looking for great Italian food at very reasonable prices — give this place a try. I went on the advice of a friend and had to send her a «THANK-​YOU» text while I was there. Everyone in our party agreed… we will be heading back very soon. Recommended dishes… The Chicken Saltimbocca… Strawberry Salad … & Pizza Marguerita… but I am sure everything else is just as fantastic.
