D’anna’s Pastry Shop

I stumbled across this family owned bakery around Valentine’s Day this past year in search of chocolate covered strawberries, and they did not disappoint. I’m an NYC resident, so I consider myself a good judge of Italian Bakeries, and this is one of my favorites. They did such a good job on a recent Frozen cake I ordered for my Nieces birthday party. There aren’t many places like this left in the area. I will definitely keep going back.

The cookies are fantastic! The sfogliatell is amazing!
My wife and I were really bummed when our wedding venue wouldn’t allow an outside baker to make our wedding cake, so we wanted to include D’anna’s in some way. We decided to make «to-​go» boxes filled with their cookies for the guests to take home.
We were hoping people would remember the food, and we were successful! We still get compliments on the dinner and cookies.
Marianne, Joey, and the girls are awesome people. We love these guys!

Hands down best cannoli I’ve ever had. If you have had better please tell me. The pastries here are really really good. So grab some «to go» find an espresso bar, chow down and be is Italian bliss. Yummmie.

You have to go there in March for their Saint Joseph’s Zeppole and Sfinges… the best ever… and I consider myself an expert on them… Better then the Carlo’s (Cake Boss) bakery in Hoboken. Lobster tails and Italian pastries are great too. Never had a cake from there but the pastries are unbelievable!

This is the best bakery! Every time I need a cake I call it in and it’s ready the next day. They are so nice that even sometimes I can call the same day early in the AM and the cake will be ready in the afternoon. Their cakes are the best in NJ. Try the whip cream topping with custard and pineapple or any fruit. You won’t find this combo taste as good as it does at D’Annas any where else. They are always friendly and offer quick service. As far as the other review you will read well you can’t make every crazy person happy! Lakeview is a nice bakery but there is no match in quality and taste to D’Anna’s. The Lakeview name has been the same for years but have switched owners a number of times and the taste has changed. I order all my cakes at D’Anna’s. You will not be disappointed!
