I stopped here on my way to Tahoe because I searched for a park with my GPS and this was en route. I had a «picnic» here with my wife. We were surprised to see DOZENS and DOZENS of Canadian geese. They were all eating grass and pooping every where. The geese were not interested in our Trader Joe’s edamame. They must not know what it is. I wish I had taken a picture of the Canadian geese. They were beautiful. This was in Mid October so I am guessing that they were just passing through on their southerly migration. I can betcha money that these geese are not here in the July.

I’m surprised that nobody has written a review yet on this park! It is one of the best there is. The area is huge with multiple fields, a flowing creek with ducks and geese, and an awesome playground for kids in a wide age range! I feel like this is a safe place for kids to play. None of the equipment looks flimsy and there aren’t any weirdos nearby to creep anyone out. In fact, this park is empty a lot of the times except for the occasional big event. This park is a treasure that most people only see in a movie.
