I really like the store. Locally owned and operated. All employees are very helpful and knowledgable. I choose this store over the big box stores company’s any day. The help actually knows where things are or will find out quick. Awesome! I recommend.

Customer Service is alive and well here, and in this day and age it is truly appreciated. The big boxes can’t, and don’t, do it, but if it’s important to you, this place delivers.
As I arrive I ask for directions to the two sections I need, a saw to trim tree limbs and fertilizer for my garden. They direct me to the correct spot, and I then ask about prices (as they weren’t posted on the patio), and the young man radios in the stock number, gets the price for me, and lets me know that it’s on sale for $ 3 off per bag, I decide on four bags, he tells me to go pay, packs them into a cart for me, and then waits for me to return to help me out to the car. I did not expect this.
Example number two of great customer service happens when I’m paying and the cashier takes discount coupon out of his pocket and gives me another $ 5 off my total purchase. Again, totally a surprise for me, but very appreciated.
So carefully consider your next purchase. You may save a few bucks at the big box store, but the experience may not be worth it. Small family run stores are competing, providing great customer service, and providing jobs right here in the neighborhood. I’m a fan, and I’m not on the payroll, I’m just rooting for the small businesses in a tough competitive environment.

This is a Hardware Person’s Hardware Store. It’s located within an industrial park in South Gardnerville and also caters to the building trades. I had my short list of stuff to look for, and the only item I came up empty was an ice scraper (it’s a Midwest thing). Otherwise, I think it’s here and with plenty of helpful staff to get you going in the right direction.

Wonderful store … very helpful staff and easy to shop at! You will enjoy this great store!
