I have seen Drs. Troyer and Weigel both and would recommend either. I feel that they are very thorough.

Wow, I wish I could give Insight Vision Care and Dr. Neal Troyer 10 stars! We had been going to another optometrist in Olathe for 8 years and he led me to believe that my vision was as clear as it could get… one visit with Dr. Troyer proved otherwise though. Dr. Troyer gave me a thorough eye exam and was able to identify an accurate prescription. My vision is so clear, I can’t even remember the last time I was able to read a clock from across the room, this is amazing! Please don’t be like I was… I thought all optometrists were the same… that all eye exams are the same… BUTTHEYAREN’T! Dr. Troyer will go out of his way to find the prescription and corrective lens that are best for you… because everyone’s vision(or eye shape in my case) aren’t the same :-)

My family and I have been using Insight Vision Center since they have been opened. They provide great customer service to their patients and are knowledgeable with the services they offer. Like most patients, they do not know too much about what their insurance takes care of, but the staff here are great about calling your insurance to find out what is offered. I ordered my contact right away after my appointment and received them in days. Dr. Troyer is who my family sees and he does an amazing job. He takes his time with his patients to makes sure all of their needs and questions are met. He is very knowledgeable about the services he provides along with all the new and up to date products offered. The quality of service offered at this vision center is great. I highly recommend Insight Vision Center.

I will never go to this business again! Office staff was very incompetent! I had to call them several times just to get things taken care of with my insurance. They would say they were going to do it that day but it was never done! After I went in for a visual eye test it was support to be faxed to the surgeon office. I had my appointment with the surgeon a week later and the papers had not been sent to them. They had to call the eye office to get them! The test was not even done right and I am having to go to another eye clinic to have the test done correctly. The office staff needs a better office manager to get things on track and better customer service! DONOTGOTO THiS OFFICE!

I have never posted a bad review before. I am a pretty laid back type person. But the Gardner location is horrible. I bought my first pair of glass ever there. I went in did the eye exam. 2 weeks later glasses came in. I could not see anything. My vision was worse. They said to try them out and see. I did and still no better. Came back. Did a other eye exam. Wrote down the wrong prescription or a miss communication, I am not sure. I understand this is human error and it happens. 2 more weeks and my glasses come in. I went to pick them up on my lunch break. I tried them on and everything was clear as day. In the office I put them in the case and went back to work. My co– workers and boss wanted to see them. So I took them out of the case and showed them to him. My boss noticed a scratch on the lens. So I called them to let them know. Only had them for 1 hour. I also advised them the frames was bent as well. There is also a gap between the lens and frame. They stated that since I did not get the extra coverage normally they would not cover this… But they would go ahead and fix it for me free. What makes me up set is they tried several time to blame the scratch on me. When I have not even wore them yet or had them in my possession for a little over 1 hour. The frames are still bent and the gap between the lens to this day. For spending over 150.00 on glasses and 120.00 from my insurance, I expect them to be perfect with no issues. I got better service from a online site that charged me 50.00 bucks for the frames and lens. They also incluse anti-glare. I do not even wear the glasses I bought from insight. I use the 50.00 ones from the internet. I would call and let them know, but I already know they will try to blame me for it.

Helpful with getting you decent eye wear, but needs improvement with answering phones, filing insurance and letting patient know exactly what insurance pays and what they don’t.
