Polite and agreeable staff. Great food at a great price! Definitely worth looking into if you enjoy takeout. We eat here at least once a week! The food is prepared very quickly and consistently.

Very good food and great lunch deals. The Generals chicken is my favorite… the sweet and sour chicken is not all breading either! Awesome

Great Chinese food. You won’t be disappointed. Fast to get orders out and always still hot when we get it home.

American style Chinese take out. They do it fast, cheap and tasty. Very friendly owners. The lunch special is the best deal you’ll find in the area.
This isn’t the place to go if you want to feel as if your in China. It is the place to go if you want fast and good tasting American style Chinese. I like the king pow chicken and the generals chicken.

This was middle of the road small town Chinese food. Not too good or bad. The staff was friendly and the food was made quickly.

This place has very good Chinese food. It’s the best in Gardner. The salt level isn’t as high as in other places, the portions are large, and the prices low. My Asian-​born wife approves of the place, and she’s hard to please. It’s primarily a take-​out, but there are a few tables.

Best Chinese in Gardner and very reasonably priced. Definitely best for takeout since their dining room is fairly small.

We have been living in Gard-​ner for 12 years. This plave has become our favorite place to eat. I give them 5 stars because their food is great, the service is fast, and the people are the most friendly even under the most stressful busy times we have been there. Thank you for all the wonderful food and service.

We don’t live very close to good Chinese, so we have been craving for quite a while. China Taste filled the bill (and my family)!
Everything was seasoned well, the Crab Rangoon was crunchy and creamy, the rice perfectly cooked, and everything was hot after a ten minute ride home. Very good.

I would have to say this is one of the better Chinese places in the KC area, and probably the best egg rolls in KC! Had two entrees and egg rolls. Everything was delicious! My takeout was packed perfectly! And I also really like the fortune cookies they serve. Will be back for sure!

«The best American Chinese in Gardner, Kansas» isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement, but that’s exactly what China Taste is.
China Taste is what one might expect from a relatively cheap Chinese restaurant, only their food quality exceeds the ordinary. No matter how much you order, your food will be ready for pick-​up in 10 to 15 minutes. Everything is made fresh, and the cooks know what they’re doing.
The combination dishes are big enough to feed any appetite, and are packaged cheaply in plastic/​foil trays. I can personally recommend the general chicken, beef/​chicken and broccoli, and pepper steak /​w onion.
The place itself is a hole-​in-​the-​wall, with very little seating. The kitchen is easily viewable from the register. I’ve never eaten inside the establishment because it’s noisy and hot. I recommend their take out. If you’re craving Americanized Chinese, go ahead and give it a try.

My feelings about this place pretty much echo what’s already been posted — good stuff.
I will add that if you get takeout and don’t live 20 minutes away, you’d better be careful when you grab things out of the bag. Your food will be HOT! It seems like a little detail thing, but it’s great how they stick cardboard in between the layers of things in the bag so you don’t have a big bag of soup when you get home. My wife and I have never had a bad meal from this place. The Buddhist Delight with tofu is good for the herbivores in the crowd.

Best Chinese in Gardner, KS! Well, you only have to compare it to the only other Chinese restaurant in Gardner, but still.
The food is cooked well and they have the expected variety of Americanized Chinese food. I have never eaten at the location itself, only called in for pick-​up. Whether it’s dinner for two or a lunch for six, your China Taste order is ready in 10 minutes. The portions given are large and will fill you up quickly. Prices are decent as well. The chicken fried rice, egg drop soup, crab ragoon, and steamed broccoli are delicious!

As Americanized Chinese restaurants go, this place is pretty good. The service here is fast and friendly enough. The food is of a pretty good quality and much better than many of the other places in town… that being Mandarin Kitchen. I’ve been to Mandarin Kitchen once and lets just say there was a fly problem. Anyway, China Taste is one of the better American Chinese places in JOCO
