R & T Transmission

I have done 3 transmission at this place and every time had wonderful experience. This place in terms of service and price can’t be beat. This shop basically gave me 24 hours turn around time which is amazing when you think about what they have to do when changing your transmission.

Just got done have my truck serviced by R&T Transmission my buddy told me to check the Unilocal reviews before I took my truck there so I did the 1 review posted was from a very unsatisfied customer but after reading her post I can tell she was crazy and didn’t know what she was talking about business is business warranties are warranties, after her warranty expired her trans light came on but you can’t always rely on those sensors RT was kind enough to tell her to bring it in and we’ll take a look even after the warranty has expired finding nothing wrong and the fact that he even gave her $ 20 out of her own pocket because she was unhappy shows that Rt is more than fair and really nice guy because she really had nothing coming. I checked around before I brought my truck in the price was more than fair and they did the job in one day excellent most places wanted 3 to 4 days and on top of that he gave me a $ 50 discount because I was short on cash. Thats 5 stars on on customer service and repairs in my book all day long

If I could give this place and the so-​called mechanic zero stars, I would. You get what you paid for especially the horrible customer service from Rami (or however you spell his name). I got my transmission rebuilt here over a year ago… I paid $ 1500 w/​a 1 year warranty. Well 1 year and 4 months later, my engine, VSA, and /​!\ light come on and I get it checked out. The code on my car is reading it’s a transmission problem and since it’s only been 4 months and not 4 years out of warranty, I call him to see if he could take care of it. He said he would and so I drive over there and he test drives my car for less than 5 minutes and tells me everything is okay with my car and that there’s nothing wrong with it. Um, excuse me??? Are you telling me the code that is coming up on my car is WRONG? And then he proceeds to tell me that there’s nothing he can do since it’s out of warranty. Um, hello! I mentioned that to you on the phone but yet you still tell me come down to tell me that??? So now I’m irritated because he wasted my Saturday morning and not to mention my day having to deal with the likes of someone like him. He asked, «do you want me to pay for your gas?» And so of course I said, «YES! And my time too!» So the jerk gives me $ 20 and I take it and leave. Don’t bother going here… he could care less about you after your warranty expires. I know he’s thinking… $ 20 is nothing compared to the part and labor he would’ve had to put in my car. JERK!!!
