Phở was too salty and bun Bo hue was also salty and not authentic. Only had brisket meat in it.

Our first time here & it was due to all the great reviews. Well, they did not disappoint. The food was fresh, plentiful, and tasted great. The wife & I have a new Phở location we will frequent that’s for sure. Before we left, we ordered a few sandwiches to go for later. Do yourself a favor & stop in. The semi-private booths are very cool & the service we received was great & was with all smiles.

FOODWASDELICIOUSBUT… An older waitress had THENASTIEST attitude from the very beginning. First off, she gave me someone’s order, which was VERY similar to mine and then got mad at me for eating some of it when she came back 5 minutes later. Does it really have to take you that long to realize YOU fucked up? The other waitress actually came in and apologized, but again, the older waitress straight up gave me the stink eye! I went to use the restroom once we were done and accidentally tugged at the door because it looked open. The door was really flimsy, but was actually locked. When the person was finally done I apologized for having tugged at the door, only to realize it has been the rude waitress. She literally rolled her eyes at me, didn’t say a PEEP, and walked away. RUDERUDERUDE!!! and this is coming from someone who doesn’t usually complain about slow or bad service.

Drive by here all the time, and finally made our way here for lunch last week, since I was sick and craving for some hot soup, and Saigon Dish was closed, since it was a Sunday. We decided to check this place out because of the stellar Unilocal reviews, and we’re sure glad that we did. The plaza where this restaurant is located looks a bit sketchy, and I don’t think I would have ever come into this restaurant without first seeing the Unilocal stamp of approval, thank you Unilocal once again. Upon walking in, we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant set up, they have tons of these private little rooms, and we were lucky to sit in one-I loved it. We ordered a two piece pork spring roll, which was the perfect starter, and I love the sauce that comes with it. We ordered a pot of jasmine tea, which was delish. And I ordered a regular size rare steak, well done brisket, and it was perfection. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were al dente with the perfect texture, the most enjoyable phở noodles I can recall having. And the meat was plentiful and seemed of high quality-it wasn’t fatty. Plentiful bean sprouts, jalapeños-I just wished the herbs/basil was more fresh-decided not to use it because it looked a bit dark. I finished my whole bowl, which may have been my first time ever for phở-usually I the noodles are too soft and meat is too fatty and I just can’t…but here the phở was perfect-hence the 5 stars. Also, I liked how clean this restaurant is, all the dishes and utensils were clean, and I’m a stickler for cleanliness. Service was great, even in the private booths-our server came by regularly to check in on us. This place is definitely my phở go to place now… phở ever!

Finally an authentic Vietnamese restaurant I can go to!!! Very nice waitress too! Had the sausage spring roll and it had something nice and crunchy in it. It’s sooo good. The vermicelli salad with BBQ pork is also delicious. The super bowl is VERY big. It comes with meatballs!!!

My boyfriend and I love coming here! The food is good, and beyond that, the family who runs the restaurant is the best! The service is always awesome, and there’s definitely a friendly vibe. They know us by name and our orders haha We usually get the Nem Nuong Cuon and Banh Mi Bo Kho, but everything else we’ve tried is also really tasty.

Different strokes for different folks. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the customer service!(She was super nice) but the food was very meh. I ordered the vermicelli and passion fruit boba. The noodles for the vermicelli was crazy soft like they soaked for waaay to long and the boba balls in my drink had a very hard core, almost chalky. I like my noodles on the al dente side and my boba swishy, chewy and soft. They had it backwards, but like I said earlier different strokes for different folks right? I’ll give it another try by ordering something different in the menu next time because they were so great with the customer service.

Phở with tendon and rare beef: the meat was good but I wish the soup was slightly too sweet. I prefer the soup at Golden Deli Fresh shrimp rolls: these are really good but a little on the small side. Would still get it again.

We came here because Unilocal reviews, and it was a great experience! The service was pretty fast on Friday night. Inside the restaurant is really cozy, and the service is kind, making your visit really comfortable. We tried Phở, fried rice, and spring rolls; everything was scrumptious, fresh, home made tasty! Highly recommended! The price is affordable.

I love this place for the phở. These are the 5 things why I go here for the phở; 1. Bomb broth 2. Meat is so tender & they give you a good amount 3. Chili oil is fire; I’m pretty sure it’s home-made 4. Customer service is good 5. Quantity & quality is good I’ve tried their Thai ice tea, salt & pepper shrimp, chicken egg rolls, pork spring rolls & I they’re all really good. I haven’t really tried anything else on the menu because I LOVE their phở & I can’t get anything besides that.

I was still recovering from a cold that day and badly needed a broth to keep my congested self warm. I ordered shrimp phở. It’s definitely not the best I have had. The broth didn’t have too much depth of flavor and the shrimps were pretty bland. The place is like any other phở place. Simple décor with a string smell lingering in the air.

We called in an order for pickup from Phở Ever and did not have a great experience. First, the guy was not as friendly and nice on the phone as I would hope. Just kind of abrupt. Second, when we placed the order, we were referencing menu item numbers from their website’s menu, but apparently that menu I outdated. He told us that we were using the wrong menu, but from our perspective, what else could we have used?! Third, when we arrived, we found out some of the items were more expensive than advertised on the«old» menu. The banh mi sandwiches, for example, were double the price. In their defense, the sandwich size was larger than expected, too, but we wouldn’t have ordered them if we knew all this. We wanted a couple small, cheap sandwiches as appetizers, but since everything was al packaged up, we didn’t feel right saying we did not want them. The actual food was decent, but not spectacular. I liked the amount of vegetables in the chay phở(vegetarian), but other than that it did not have too much flavor. I requested it to be spicy(7⁄10) and it wasn’t at all. There was some sauce provided on the side, so I made it spicy myself. The banh mi sandwiches were not the best. They did not have enough herbs/veggies inside of them – all you could taste was the meat. The bread was a French baguette, like normal, but it wasn’t very crusty. All in all, I wouldn’t choose to go back to this phở restaurant. I like the Saigon Dish much better. Plus, the customer service there is top notch.

Phở cravings come to me once a month, so I frequently eat phở. One thing that absolutely matters to me is the temperature of the soup. Hotter the better. Phở ever achieves that certain criteria I’m looking for. They also have $ 5 check in offers for $ 30 +. The house special pork sausage spring rolls are the appetizer of my choice. It has a bit of the fried eggroll skin inside, kind of like the ones at Brodard.

Just got off a long flight and came here based on the reviews. The phở here isn’t bad but for west coast phở, I had higher expectations. I had the lunch special which was a medium size bowl and was a good size portion. Broth was a bit too oily in my opinion. This also came with a spring as a bonus which was good. They also offer hot pot too which is cool but I’ll save that for my next visit.

Encoded into the fabric of my life is, surprisingly, Phở Ever. Working in El Segundo for the past two summers, I’ve had a real fascination with finding some of the best eats in the South Bay. Let me tell you a little secret: it ain’t easy. That’s not to say there is a shortage of good restaurants and locations in the South Bay, because that’s definitely not true. However, for a non-local who is just exploring around and doing his best to Unilocal-fu hidden gems, it can be honestly pretty difficult. That’s why, when tasked with finding a place for my friend and co-worker to have a nice weekend lunch, I chose Phở Ever. I gotta be honest with you here: I was looking for some Vietnamese food, and the name«Phở Ever» is pretty hilarious and definitely kind of of a gutsy naming move for the namesake restaurant. With that tenacity, I knew I had to go for it. My friend graciously drove me here, and immediately we kind of were amused by Gardena itself. It’s definitely a quieter and slower way of life than some of the adjacent beach areas, but that lends itself a certain charm. The parking lot that Phở Ever is nestled in is pretty huge, so parking is definitely not an issue. The interior of Phở Ever is quite unique and actually pretty nice; it’s not like your typical bare-bones Vietnamese restaurant. There are red brick-layered walls surrounding you and flower vases on every table, and some booths have some stove tops. It’s a pretty nice and comforting feeling they’ve cultivated there, and it’s a great place to really have a good conversation with someone – especially since we were seated in this somewhat enclosed and private booth(which will be really perfect if you’re on a first date or something). We firstly ordered some spring rolls, which were pretty fresh and great. I had a vermicelli dish, which I thought was definitely tasty. It wasn’t the best vermicelli I’ve ever had, but it was good enough for what I wanted and certainly still very delicious. The service in here was really great, and they treated my friend and I very kindly. Definitely have to give props for that. Overall, this lunch meant a lot to me because I got to build up a good and lasting friendship in a great environment with wonderful food. That’s pretty much all I need in life sometimes, and that’s why Phở Ever is phở ever.

Ok, real quick, here’s a love story: On my husband and my first date, I was craving Phở. I found Phở Ever on Unilocal cuz of the mad reviews, and we headed to this strip mall off Rosecrans and Van Ness in Gardena(there is parking available). Years later, I was trying to remember the delicious Phở place we went to on our first date, and it was then I realized that it’s called Phở Ever. And we’ve lived happily PhoEver after. The best part about the restaurant are the private booths available. Perfect for an intimate first date, like my husband and I had, or for a party of 4. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the Phở is delicious. I do have to admit, though, that I really did NOT enjoy the beef ball Phở. The meat was super hard and chewy. I’d stick with the brisket/tripe/tendon in the future. The Spring rolls are freaking delish. Mmmm. Make sure to check in on Unilocal for $ 5 off! FYI, you can bring your own wine for a small fee of $ 2 per glass(which they weren’t sticklers about).

A hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we received upmost customer service. This is a 5-star Vietnamese cuisine experience. Phở Ever not only offers regular style restaurant seating, but private room dining. It was nice to come in & have a more intimate dining experience-which I found unique for an inexpensive restaurant. Though prices may be low, quality of food and service are not. All utensils and sauces on our table were clean. Typically, other Vietnamese restaurants in this price range usually have sticky sauce-spilled containers… a definite turn off. [4/5 star] Nem nuong: great flavor and fresh, could have a little bit more crunch. [5/5 star] Phở Ga: fresh and non fatty pieces of chicken. Excellent broth. Generous on the mint leaves. [5/5] Bun Bo Hue: masterfully made broth, seasoning is perfect. Phở Ever is definitely a new favorite of mine!
