The crust is overcooked. Because its burnt so It tasted bitter. Pizza has very little cheese. So 1.5 star in general.

I came in today 12÷31÷15 and was glad to hear they are now open on new years eve. And new years day as well… they said that they will be closing around 9pm. I love this New York pizza.

Your looking for a delicious pizza? Look no more. This place makes the best delicious tasting pizzas in town. Too bad there not close to home. Because if they were I’ll be here everyday. My opinion I got to say this is the best tasting New York style pizza I’ve ever tasted. I’ve been coming here since 2007 and it’s still the best tasting pizza. It’s a shocker to find out there now accepting credit cards, wow talk about a big upgrade. Its been overdue. I’m glad they accept debit. Now I’ll be coming here more often that’s for sure.

I’m from New York, and I love this pizza. I rarely love pizza in California. They take cash only. I was able to order over the phone and pick up on my way home.

My favorite hometown pizza joint. Great pizza for a great price. Family owned so they still use fresh ingredients and the pizza is never old.

Bonello’s is a scam and nowhere near NY pizza. The owner is a cheap tightwad who makes extremely thin pizza to make you buy more if you want to feel full. Unless you are anorexic you will need about three slices to feel full bringing the total to over $ 10 if you include a drink. You’re much better off buying a truly tasty and filling pizza just a few blocks down at 7⁄11 for $ 5. The pizza crust is full, the tomato sauce is very good and the cheese is thick mozzarella and it tastes way better than Bonello’s. Other pizzas that blow away Bonello’s is Sbarros at the mall, Pronto pizza, Mobtown pizza and Costco pizza among some others

Great pizza! Probably the best in town. Only 3 stars because pizza is pricey and there is no specials like 2 pizzas at a discounted price or family meal deal. If you are looking to feed a family of 4 you probably need to order 2 pizzas. that’s getting close to 40 bucks Expect to pay between 16 and 20 bucks for a large. But it is good pizza

This is the first time I had the courage in the past 4yrs since I’ve been around the neighborhood to try the pizza! I just devoured the slice because it was so darn delicious! Full of flavor the crust is just right too! It’s a large slice but honestly I think I can go for a second slice lol I’d rather eat this pizza now over domino’s that’s only a few feet away. Don’t know why people give it 4 stars if it’s amazing!

I really wanted to like this pizza. However it was the complete opposite. We ordered The Works and with all of those toppings you would think the pizza would’ve had alot of flavor but Hell Naw it totally lacked flavor and it barely had any cheese and sauce SUPERDRY. We were very dissatisfied with this pizza I don’t see how this place has 4 stars the pizza is wack but the guy taking the order was nice but that doesn’t make up for the food YUCK!!! I can’t complain, this place is very good. The pizza slices are worth $ 2.60 because they are very wide. It will take a while to finish the slice and that’s exactly how I like to eat pizza. Dominos and Pizza Hut have the super small pieces to where you can finish a whole box of pizza very quickly. I got 2 slices and was pretty much full. I was pleasantly surprised because I thought it wasn’t really worth it. The cherry on top is that it cooks FAST! No having to sit around for 5 mins waiting for pizza. My favorite part about the pizza was that it had a crunch! The crust was soft but when you bite into the pizza you hear that crunch. I really loved that. Next time I’ll update the review regarding the cheese and sauce. It was very good though.

If you like thin pizza this is the place for you. I like that they sell slices for $ 2.60, but it wasn’t the best pizza ever. Was not bad, but wasn’t great.

Bonellos is the bomb! It’s New York style pizza so the slices are pretty big and easy to fold! Lol. It is very conveniently located down the street from el Camino college, which makes it a very popular go to place at lunch time. I always get a mushroom slice! I don’t eat meat so I’m very pleased to know they always have something I can eat! The salad here is also really good! It has a vinaigrette dressing and has what I think is mozzarella cheese on top! Soo soo good! I definitely recommend this spot to any who likes pizza! Only down side is they are cash only:(although they do have an ATM machine for one to withdraw cash, I would rather come prepared !

I was craving some pepperoni ‘za so I figured I’d try Bonello’s out since it’s a hop, skip and a jump away from my place. I pulled up and parked in their lot. I was the only customer there on a thursday evening. I walked up to see three guys crammed into the small shack waiting for me to order. I ordered two slices and a coke. Thanks to other Unilocalers, I knew to bring cash with me and although some reviews state that there is an ATM on premises, I did nor see one, just an empty case where one used to be. Anyhow, on to the ‘za, I took a bite and thought it was just okay. I’m not from NY but I expect a foldable greasy slice when I think NY ‘za. What I got was a crispy crunchy slice of pie. While it was tasty, it by no means was top 10 contender. Also, for the $ 7.XX I paid for two slices and a coke I felt slightly jipped considering I can get a whole pie of better tasting ‘za for less at Tumby’s.

Bonello’s only accepts cash, and they don’t deliver. If they delivered, this would be a five star review. I have driven past Bonello’s for years and never gave them a try because I didn’t think it was anything special. Just another pizza stand selling sub-standard pizza by the slice. BOYWAS I WRONG! Everyone has their own idea of the best pizza style and the best place to buy it from. Having been to NY and eaten pizza there, I have to say Bonello’s is the best for getting a NY style pizza in Torrance, HANDSDOWN. If you like foldable, not-too-much-sauce, delectable crust pizza, this is the place for you. The crust is AWESOME. Ask for a cup of sauce on the side for dipping crust, and you will be very happy. I have had Bonello’s twice in the past week. First time was Bonello’s special pizza, which is akin to a supreme. It was good, not enough cheese. Second trip was the pepperoni and mushroom, extra cheese. MANONMAN! Less toppings, extra cheese is definitely the way to go. We also tried the spaghetti and meatballs the second time. It wasn’t BAD… but the sauce was watery.

Bonello’s New York Pizza is a pretty good pizza place located across the street from El Camino College. The prices are reasonable and they offer a couple different combo meals as well. The pizza slices are NY style so they are large in size, but the dough is thin as paper. I typically get the pepperoni or mushroom pizza. The salad that they have is also pretty refreshing. They have a small outdoor seating area and they also have an ATM machine. Parking is located in the back or on the street. If you’re a student at El Camino then Bonello’s is a solid option for lunch.
