Good place to hangout out with your friends on a busy working day. It could get really loud so not a good place to be if you have a migraine. The menu has lots of variety of food: from fingers food to hot pot. My friends usually do lots of drinking and be loud at the same time. We usually order the com chien ca mang(salted fish fried rice), blood clam, tamerine wings, deep fried quall, and lemon grass steam clam. That’s only a few stuff we order off the menu. Food here could get pricey(usually cost around $ 12.99/plate but it could get pricer depend on item order). Beware of untalented singer singing karaōke! :) Good place to hangout out with friends, alcohol, and pricey food!!!

So I’m not a fan of Asian bars but one of my close friend was having their b day here so I pretty much had no choice but to go. Turned out, it was not so bad as I thought it would be. Food was absolutely bomb and delicious. The girls are super friendly and very hard working. I was having some beers with a glass of ice and the ice was constantly being refilled in a timely manner. We had the goi oc giac, chim cut rang me, ngheu xao la que, plus many more but too much for me to type. The goi was made fresh and had a zesty lemon taste. Not the typical goi you would normally eat. The chim cut was definitely one of my fave because it was so crisp and tender. I’ve had chim cut before but it was nowhere near close to this. As for the ngheu, I would just say, you must gotta try it. However, music was a bit too loud which was kind of a bug for me but after a few drinks and a few hours, I kind of forgot about it. They also charge for peanuts, which some of us weren’t too happy about since we are spending a good amount of money, that should have been an accommodation. Besides that, food and service is great. I certainly will come back again for the food but in the daytime so I won’t be bugged by the loud music again.

The Vietnamese Quan Ngau should be added to the list of historical places of America. No other place can you sit and eat authentic Vietnamese cuisine made for drinking. Plenty of tables to gather your loved ones to enjoy sports and the days topics. A giant man cave where the beers always come out cold in buckets and there’s a need to wait for a happy hour cause the they are always cheap. The owner is always around shooting the breeze with everyone and Amy the manager is always on point.

I was told that this had the best shaken beef, I came in with high expectations. This plate of shaken beef had a few tender pieces of meat and the rest was a stringy hot mess. I’m going to say this was an off night, bc the flavoring was on point with a savory but light taste. My dad got this venison curry which was quite tender but not my style. The curry flavoring was a bit strong and there was far too much coconut. They give rice crackers to be eaten with the dish. The highlight was probably the complimentary fruit box. I’m not sure I would go again.

So good. So so good and authentic. The balut was perfect. Coconut Snails were flavorful. And the duck’s blood tasted fresh. I’ll probably come back to this place more often than the other ones I’ve tried with the same kind of exotic Vietnamese food

Very bad service and expensive food. We ordered a razor clam and a snails hot pot. The razor clam was super sandy, i think they did not rinse them at all. After we finished our clam dish, we were waiting like 40 mins for the hot pot even we asked several time some waitresses to check it if it ready or not. They did not give any responses until we asked for the bills. Never come back again.

Horrible communication, no one speaks English, how can you order any food at this restaurant if workers don’t speak English and you don’t speak Vietnamese. I Recommend not to come here if you do not speak Vietnamese.

Yesterday, I went in there for dinner and nothing to eat at home. Once I went in, it smells like a bunch of cigarettes. I swear I just left right away and went to another restaurant, which is a lot better nearby. :( My advice for most people who are clean, don’t go to this place with make of smokers and drug peeps.

Foods are expensive and not worth it at all. Foods taste so so and not all seafood is fresh. Be careful for all the snack and drink they served you. All these are expensive. Restaurant looks old, dirty, smell very strong of smoke of cigarettes, most tables and chairs are damage and seem likes hasn’t remodel for many decades. I went there at 1 pm on the weekend. We got the menus were greasy and some areas had sticky sources. The toilet papers were everywhere on the floor inside the restrooms. I did not feel enjoyable and comfortable eating in this restaurant at all. It was my first time and also would be my last time to dine in this restaurant.

A popular Vietnamese pub restaurant known for its high quality food and excellent service highlighted by gorgeous women dressed in traditional Vietnamese night gowns that prepare all the teas and dessert beverages, act as your servers and entertain guests. The menu — complete with pictures of most dishes and categorized — includes mostly South Vietnamese style noodle and rice dishes, hot pots, meat and seafood dishes including some exotic choices: alligator, rabbit and snails. Dishes ordered: Oc Mong Tay Nuong Mo Hanh(Razor Clam with Grilled Onions), $ 14.99 Be Tai Chanh(Lemon Marinated Rare Steak), $ 9.99 Lau Cu Lao(Seafood Hot Pot — Southern Vietnamese Style), $ 14.99 I was underwhelmed by the menu choices. The razor clams would easily have been my favorite because of the flavors and aroma of scallion oil, basil and peppers. The clams, however, needed to be rinsed much better because I found sand in them. The rare steak and sizzling seafood hot pot were prepared just fine although I was not particularly satisfied with either dish. Similar to my experiences with Laotian and certain Thai dishes, I am not huge fan of dishes that uses a mixture of either lime or lemon juice with nuoc mam cham(dipping fish sauce), especially on raw or cold meats. The seafood was also not so fresh. However my Vietnamese friends, including my two dining guests this night, were generally pleased with the preparation of the dishes and certainly they would offer a broader perspective when it comes to cuisine originating from their homeland than me. The ambiance is lively(loud), crowded, dark and smoky. This was especially so as the evening progressed, more dinner guests arrived, the music started blaring and it was karaōke time. I did not care for all the noise and smokiness but the restaurant itself is well maintained and kept clean. Moreover, the service was impeccable as advertised. Guests are warmly greeted and immediately led to their table. The ladies handle all the ordering, prepare any drinks themselves in full view and bus the tables. The food arrives as soon as it is prepared, they make certain beverages are refilled and napkins are replenished. And it is a team effort. Multiple ladies will assist with servicing its guests as no one particular is assigned to a dining party. Some are even friendlier and will sit down to make conversation with guests while others put a little more priority in catering its food and drinks. A few of the ladies with musical talents will entertain guests by singing popular Vietnamese songs at the karaōke booth. Expect the ladies to come around often with barrels of ice cold beer. It is a pub after all and some guests seem to get more of the servers’ attention. So the bottom-line is to order some beer and adult beverages if you want more interaction with the ladies. They will deliver within a five mile radius if you order at least three dishes! The first restaurant in Little Saigon to offer delivery service. The food could have been better but I was generally very satisfied with the service.(We gave a very generous tip.) The price of the dishes were very reasonable as the three dishes ordered were just enough for our party of three. The eye candy factor certainly adds to the entertainment value and I have not ruled out a return visit despite the dishes this night missing their mark with me. I, on the other-hand, would hardly find this pub restaurant a comfortable, relaxing place as advertised(too loud and crowded for that) unless I was here to drink and enjoy karaōke night. Overall, I am swayed by the top-notch service. Nevertheless, a marginal three star experience for me.

Let me just start off by saying that this is a Vietnamese quan nhau(bar) so expect loud music, karaōke, and girls. I can’t vouch for how it is during the day because I’ve only been here at night. Now, am I a fan of quan nhau? Not so much…(Hence the 3 stars) But, if I had to pick a quan nhau to go to, this would be it. Their food is great. They seem to have anything and everything that you want when it comes to your usual Vietnamese drinking foods. They make it good as well. I just recently found out yesterday that they deliver if you order at least 3 items. Even better! Now I can enjoy their good food in the comfort of my own home without having to go anywhere or sit in a loud bar.

Please be careful before you eat their food. We ordered the«Bo khe» item togo and when we opened it at home there were white bunches of what looked like fly eggs! We went back to return the item and they made us a new dish. Food is great, just look carefully before you eat.

So this is my friend’s favorite place so I wanted to check it out. The food was bad and expensive. I had the Nails Snail and Clams. Both were not fresh. The clams actually stink… The fried chicken was dry and old. Their AC also does not work. Like any other Vietnamese«nhau“spots, you end up inhaling smoke and smelling like a pack of cigarette. However, the service was good. The girls were friendly and attentive. They were not as drunk as other places.

I am literally cracking up reading some of the reviews for this place. This restaurant is considered a «quan nhau»(Vietnamese bar-restaurant) and all of the«quan nhau» in OC are like this. Yes, it will be super loud with music(usually Vietnamese music/karaōke), Yes, it wiill definitely smell like cigarette smoke, Yes, there will be a lot of sexy waitresses, and Yes, the food will be bomb! I agree though, it is difficult to know that this restaurant is a «quan nhau» unless you know. So heads up people! This restaurant offers very very good food here! I especially liked the«Com Chay & Fried Tofu dish.» It was seriously the best I have ever had. I would probably recommend ordering something else other than the«Bo luc lac» because I thought it was not good at all. The customer service was also pretty good. The waitresses took our drink order the minute we sat down. The owner even came by to our table to check up on us to make sure we were doing okay! TIP: I am warning you now. Don’t get hustled by those flower ladies who come by with a basket of bouquets! They’re good! TIP: If you want to check out part of their menu(They not have everything on their menu on their website) or order to go/delivery:

I like this place a lot! If you are looking for a quiet place to have a nice little dinner, this is def not the place to go. There’s music, karaōke, and you can watch sports. It’s a good place to hang with some good friends and have some drinks. It does get packed and loud. I do enjoy the atmosphere So it depending on what everyone is looking for. The food is excellent! There are some exotic dishes on the menu, too much for my taste…:) So I only tried a portion of the menu. There’s one thing I don’t like the place, is it’s old and looks kind of run down. The bathroom is really dirty too… But overall I love the place!

This rating is for their take out only! I haven’t had the chance to eat there since I have a baby. My friends love this place and told me that they use to eat there twice a week because of the food. My husband ordered the razor clams, coconut snails, and shrimp/pork salad. Everything was delicious! We were even given a big container of exotic fruit with our order. That was topping on the cake. We loved that they were quick and the quality of food was perfect. This was the best we have ever had for the snails and salad. It was our first time having razor clams and it was perfect. It was so good we went back a second time the same week! The second to go order, we got the coconut snails and shrimp/pork salad again. This time was had the mud clams and it was great but not the best we have ever had it. I would give the mud clams a strong 4 out of 5 stars. We also got fried rice which was delicious. My son usually wants noodles only but kept insisting he wanted rice after having a taste of it. Winner! The owner was really nice and friendly. We also got another container of exotic fruit. With food like this, we don’t mind the 25 minutes drive there to get the food and then going back home to enjoy. We will be back!

Usually not a place I would eat at, but a coworker recommended this place for drinks and we all headed over there after work. Definitely not a place for kids. Most of the servers wear clubbing attire and there are people smoking inside. Despite that, the food is delicious. We ordered the Razor Clams, Coconut Snails, Beef Luc Lac, Scallop Clams, Papaya Salad, Chicken Wings, Fried Rice and Thai Lau. Everything was really good! The Lau was just okay, I’ve had better elsewhere. Service was actually really good. Different waitresses checked on us often to see if we needed anything else or more waters. I probably wouldn’t come back to eat there again but would consider ordering to go! They also deliver!
