I love crawfish here. The beer is quite cheap too. Not too busy all the time so it’s a plus. I hate to wait for food.

Came here on a Saturday night and had to wait about 5 minutes. This place is definitely not as busy as Boiling Crab. They have the same selection and I prefer their Cajun fries over other crab places. Their complementary dessert was a nice touch also. Come here if you don’t want to wait over two hours for some other places.

Took my family here for the first time while vacationing at Huntington and this place exceeded our expectations. They seated us almost right away. Our waitress«Van» was great and attentive to our needs. The food was amazing! Now I can say… this place is an actual Cajun place. I give it an 11… out of 10! Next time I’m willing to drive there with the rest of my family just to enjoy this experience again.

Came here with some friends of mine to grab dinner. I know my two padawans have joined the darkside and gave this place a 2 star. I really want to but I just can’t do it. I do love the huge spacing of the place. The food was decent and there was no line at all but the wait for the food was atrocious. First off, we waited for about 40 to 1 hour for our food to arrive. That was starting to frustrate me a bit. They were seating people and pushing out to-go orders all the meanwhile the patrons dining in are suffering from the massive wait time. That was no good to me. The food arrived and it was decent and nothing special at all. The flavors tasted normal, how it should taste but the fact that I had to wait so long for it was ridiculous. We also ordered some raw oysters too and that was absolutely not good. It had this slimy fish aftertaste to it that I never had experience from raw oysters before. I shall not order that again if I should return. The one good moment was they gave a friend of mine beer on the house because they forgot to give him water(he came through late). Overall its an average place. The food is average but the wait time is horrible. The service was bland too. Only one chick was diligent enough to inform us that the food was coming out, but even then it kept taking forever and ever. I’m not a fan. I probably won’t return. PS lots of television screens and nice décor

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The gists of this would be, good workers, slow service and decent food. Food– I had the 2lbs of crawfish with corn sausage and potato, basically the combo 1. I had it spicy wild crab flavored. It was good. The sauce however was very chunky and weird. The crawfish were okay. Some were big some were small, but that’s understandable because crawfish is typically expensive so I understand if there were a couple small ones. It was a very delightful surprise though when I would find a couple big ones. The sides all tasted very good. The garlic fries were amazing. My friends and I could not stop eating them, however I refrained from eating lots of it because I wanted to make room for the crawfish. Service– The workers are absolutely great people. They had a very positive attitude and were very helpful and friendly. However, the food did take a VERY long time to come out. We came at about 6:50/7PM ordered about right away, and did not get our food till about half an hour later. What is more ridiculous is the fact that there were not many people in the restaurant when we came. Another thing was customers who came after us either got their order the same time we got ours, or before us. I was extremely upset about this because how is it that we came about twenty to thirty minutes before them but got our food the same time they did? I am not blaming the staff that are working front of the house, but the back of the house staff needs to get themselves together. I was very disappointed with the amount of time it took for our food to come out overall, but the workers were very nice and reassured us that our food was getting cooked and going out soon which was very kind of them. Price– For my 2lbs of crawfish with the 2 corn and sausages and potato, also known as combo 1, was $ 25. That’s somewhat of a decent price. Each pound would be about $ 13. I just want to let you guys know also, the some drinks like the strawberry lemonade are NONREFILLABLE. Sodas, ice tea, and water are I believe. There is also dessert which you get for FREE at the end. It was a good food experience here because I do appreciate the spicy and the large crawfish here and there. The fries were amazing and the dessert was also really good. Service here, and when I mean service, I mean how long it took for the food to come out, sucked. The workers are great with lots of personality. If you’re in a rush or do not want to wait about half an hour for your food to arrive or come out, this would not be a good place to dine, however if you do not mind the wait, definitely check this place out!

+ Very open and spacious + Lots of TV’s placed in the right spots + Beers are $ 3.50~(not bad) — Service was pretty bad/slow I recommend not coming here at night. it seems as if under-staffing and long wait times is a trend during the night here. Came here with a few friends of mine for dinner and mannn lol. Thought it was gonna be the usual dine-in experience, but no, it was a different one. One where waiting and constantly asking for a waiter was the norm. I didn’t get this place. Our group sat at our table for 40~ minutes, twiddling our thumbs and conversing to kill time. Yet the staff continues to sit people down at tables, and this wasn’t even on a full night. there were OPEN tables behind us as well. This was far from a packed house, yet it took 40 minutes to push food out to us. One glimmer of light for the night was that we were comped 2 beers on the house. That was cool and all, but I would have gladly paid for those 2 extra beers if it meant having a bit of a more attentive staff. For any water refills, requests to order more beer, etc. we had to constantly wave someone down. It got a bit annoying. made the whole experience underwhelming. Now when the food came out. Buddy and I had Combo #2, it was just okay. We’ve had better. and wish that we didn’t have to wait so long just to be hit and run by ‘okay’ tasting food. But hey, at least the Coronas were good. Overall, if you want to take a shot at this place. go for it. As I see there’s other reviews that had better experiences here. I, myself. wouldn’t come back.

Came here on a Wednesday night with lots of high hopes. I’m a big fan of Submarine Crab so I’m always down to try out similar places. The menu looked promising, there were a lot of unique dishes that weren’t served at a typical Boiling Crab-esque place. Placed the order for a Combo #2 and then the waiting began. food didn’t come out until more than 40 minutes later. What I don’t understand is how they constantly brought out to-go orders while we were still waiting for ours. They definitely understaff at this location. Every time something was needed, a staff had to be flagged down. I thought the saving grace would be the food but it was not that good at all. The sauce was bland, and this was the Wild Style seasoning, too. I didn’t even taste any hint of garlic, just straight up oil. The raw oysters also didn’t taste fresh. It had this slight fishy taste to it: l I was really disappointed. I think the only highlight of the night was when my friend got a free beer because he joined late and they forgot to give him his water(plus one star). We didn’t even stay to get the free donut ice cream. Would choose Submarine Crab or Kicking Crab over this place.

First time eating here, we usually go to claws but they were closed on Christmas Day. My family and I were very impressed in the quality and price as well as the customer service we received from Daren our server. We also think this is our new spot, good food and nice clean restaurant, my wife was very impressed with the oysters. Unilocal should have a 10 star rating for businesses, Merry Christmas wild crab!

Came here with fellow Unilocaler Rudy h. I had been telling ppl I’d been craving boiling crab earlier in the day and he shot me a text he had been too. We meet up at the packing house for a quick cocktail then headed out. To be honest, the wild crab wasn’t our first option. Hell, it wasn’t even our second option. Being the holiday weekend, our first two spots were closed. Rudy knew abut this location so luckily they were open. It was pretty dead inside, but he had been and swore it was legit. I really like their combos on the menu. It was just two of us. We got the number two combo, which came with any 3 pounds of food you liked, with corn and sausage. We got two pounds of shrimp, one pound of clams, and added one pound of muscles. A s for the flavoring, we got the mixed all spice option with medium heat. The clams and muscles we cooked very nicely. They were not chew at all. The shrimp was nice and firm too. You know how some over cooked shrimp is mushy and falls apart? Not here. Their medium level spice was perfect. I really enjoy heat and can handle hot. But when there’s a lot of food, it’s a little tougher to enjoy. The heat level here was perfect. At BC I find medium to be a little spicy. I love when I’m pleasantly surprised. And for that reason, I give this place a 4 Star. I will be back and I do recommend it. Until next time…

«Let’s get Wild» is their motto and we all know how I feel about getting wild! Just kidding! I came here for dinner with my buddy Brady T. aka The Sharknados in our Fantasy Football league and all we could talk about was football and how this place is such a good spot to watch the games. They have a huge screen where they project the games onto during game nights as well as multiple TVs around their restaurant. That makes them a serious contender in the typical cajun, shrimp, crawfish and crab industry. They have plenty of appetizers here to go with their seafood. Brady T. suggested the Calamari($ 8.99) and I was a bit hesitant because I was avoiding oily food, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was probably chewier than typical calamari but it had a nice bite to it. It came with marinara sauce that went really well with the calamari. I liked it! For our main dish we thought about getting about a pound of shrimp each. Most of their menu says«market price» and on this particular night it was $ 10.99/lb shrimp. Brady also mentioned adding a corn($ 0.75/each) so I suggested that we just shared their Combo #1($ 24.99). This includes any 2lbs of Shrimp, Crawfish, Clams or Mussels and also 2 corn, 2 potatoes and 5 piece of sausages. Getting the combo is clearly the better deal since we both agreed on getting Mild Wild Style. My friend specifically said he liked Wild Crab since their shrimp was big and juicy. I completely agree. The shrimp was fresh and there was not that problem where the skin sticks when you peel it. The shrimps were larger than average and their sauce was pretty good too! It slightly falls short to boiling crab, but it was still really good and we didn’t have to wait in any long lines at all! Free dessert with check-in! The service is so nice here, I only showed them one check-in, but they gave both my friend and I our own dessert. The Malasada with Ice Cream($ 2) comes with a ball of freshly made donut-like dessert with the essence of banana and a scoop of ice cream. The hot and the cold aspects gave the dessert a great balance. Yummy! With their friendly attentive service and delicious fresh seafood, I can see myself coming back here soon! Next time I’ll bring more of my league buddies here to enjoy the game together on their large screen projection and to talk smack of course!

I’m adding a star for the service and that dessert! I’ll come here for the malasadas alone! We came here again a couple days ago, and they were pretty short-staffed. They were very great though, and did the best they could to make sure everything was to our liking. On this day, they didn’t require a check-in for their dessert. Not that it really mattered, we all had our phones ready. Our waitress noticed how quickly we devoured our malasadas and came by with more! I don’t know how they get those little donuts so fluffy yet dense, but I do know I’m coming back in the near future.

The food is delicious. We came for happy hour and got items from the happy hour menu such as the Cajun fries and the mixed bag special with king crab legs. We also got an order of white rice, two beers, and a black tea. All of that for $ 50, not including tip. Eating here was worth it. The crab, although it only came with two large crab legs(I want more), was filled with large portions of meat.

If you’re looking for a good crawfish restaurant, then look not further! This is it, I promise you. My sister brought me home some leftovers and that was when it was love from first bite for me.(I know, I know. leftover crawfish isn’t good, but this seriously was!!) The quality of the seafood and sauce was one of the best that I’ve had in a long time. They had frozen crawfish when I went here last time but my friend and I both agreed that it tasted pretty good for frozen crawfish! The sauce is also the best that I’ve had in a long time because the flavor is really flavorful, thick, spicy, and it isn’t oily either. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice too because I think they can pass for a sports bar. They offer beer, soju, and lots of TV’s with sports playing. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious so they can accommodate a lot of people. PS, you have to check in on Unilocal & show them for the free dessert! I left without getting any because I didn’t show them my check in :(

Dined here yesterday I usually go here for the grill maine lobster because its worth the money($ 21.00 or so for 20 something oz plus), but this time, i feel like im being chipped since the lobster looks no where near that 20 something oz and more like 15 oz and maybe less or a little shy more. the meat was the size of a jumbo shrimp. not thick, juicy and flavorful like the usual. when the bill came out, they charged me for the full oz…(my friends and i eat maine lobsters a lot so im pretty sure we know what it should look like) i came in around 3pm it was pretty empty, there was only a few tables occupied. i also ordered, Calamari, and half dozen Kumamoto Oysters the calamari usually comes in a lot.(as in the fill the whole basket) this time it was barely 6 pieces if i recalled. for flippin $ 8 you give me 6 piece!!! wtf? the only thing they got right out of my orders was the Kumamoto. Thank God for that. the service was just so depressing(not sure if it just that kind of day) feel like im getting left over food or some crap. Not to be sexist but when my friends and i come in and there are female servers; then tend to come to us and ask us if we need anything or a refill more often then the guys(the one that have service our table that ive noticed). plus they do i great job helping us our in which we leave big tips. but the guys dont remember their names but, seems like they just half ass their job. Hopefully next time and friends and i come back we get better service

Tried this place for the first time this week and I thought it was pretty good. The sauce was different more thick than other crawfish restaurant. We got the combo #2 which includes 3 lbs of your choice; crawfish, shrimp, clams, or mussels. We got 3 lbs of shrimp wild style medium and an extra 1 lb of mussels! It was pretty filling for 6 people. We also got chicken wings Cajun seasoning, garlic pasta, and Cajun fries. It was really filling and yummy. We finished everything on the table so that’s when you know it’s good! Service was really good. If you want a worker that comes back to check up on you to see if you’re doing well, ask for Henry Huynh! He’s so nice and helpful. We get complimentary ice cream at the end with deep fried donuts. It’s very delicious! I had to ask for 2 because it was so good.

The bf was craving some crawfish so we gave this spot a try. Came around 8 pm on a Friday night, and they weren’t too busy, so we got seated right away. Their menu is pretty standard, like all the other crawfish places. They have different combos, and we chose combo #1. It comes with 2 lbs of your choice of seafood, 2 corns, potatoes and 5 sausages. We got 1 lb of shrimp and 1 lb of crawfish with the wild style. Our food came out pretty fast. The sauce is a little thicker than other places with lots of garlic! I accidentally bit into one thickening it was a piece of a potato, opps. They also have the ketchup and mayo sauce available for dipping. We also got cajun fries, because how can you not. The fries here were a little thicker, though good, not as good as boiling crabs. Overall, I’d say its a pretty good option in the area! And you get a free malasada with ice cream with your Unilocal check in!

I have finally found it! I have been looking all over Orange County for a great Casian seafood spot, and this is it! First, the service is very friendly and very responsive. Although you have one main server for your table, all the other servers walking by your table will stop to ask if you need anything. It’s great. Second, there was no line at dinner time, and even if there are lines in the future, the Wild Crab uses Opentable!!! This is a huge plus. My least favorite thing about cajun seafood is that the wait time is usually super long. Not here. Third, and most importantly, the food is delicious. The seafood at these places tends to be not-so-fresh because they can mask it with the sauce. Here, the seafood is fresh AND the sauce is delicious! The shrimp was firm and plump, but still managed to soak up the amazing«Wild Style» sauce. Wild Style is the all of the above sauce, like the whole shebang at the Boiling Crab or Kickin’ Style at the Kicking Crab. Tip: the medium spicy is just a little spicy, like«half-medium» at other joints. Go a level higher if you like your food pretty spicy. The cajun fries were especially good. They were heavily seasoned and very spicy. Great flavors. Fourth, they have every conceivable tool you might need to peel your crab and lobster. I still have a few similar joints to try, but I think the Wild Crab is going to be my go-to Cajun spot.

Wow this place is really good! It’s odd that I haven’t heard of this place until now. We all know the Boiling Crab’s and Kickin’ crabs of the area but Wild Crab is right up there with them. Their signature sauce is on point! It’s not so overpowering salty like the other places. I still have my tastebuds after eating all the crabs, crawfish, shrimp, corn, sausages, and oysters. The cajun fries were cooked perfectly. My favorite thing here is the dessert. The malasadas with ice cream is so good! The Wild Crab is a must and they’ve got a awesome happy hour as well! Recommendation: King crab legs, cajun fries, and malasadas ice cream

This place has totally gone down the hole for me. Bleh, food wasn’t even satisfying. I heard that the management changed from the previous before, & though the menu items look kinda similar the taste wasn’t up to par. First, the garlic is VERY garlicky — to the point where they don’t even cook it down. When I asked the waiter why it’s so strong he confirmed that they aren’t cooked at all when tossed into the bag, & I get the whole crunch factor but whoa! my mouth just had that sharp taste of rawness, so eventually I chose to not pick at them instead(sucks bc I love that part)! Typically I’m not a fan of lemon pepper so I had a separate side of clams ‘Cajun garlic’ which came out tasting like garlic butter with undercooked clams, yuck. Also, their wild style spice is not the best in my opinion & was slightly watery. On a brighter note though, the prices appeared cheap for the 3 lb combo && the FREE donut ice cream(with Unilocal check in) was the highlight of the night. I was also disappointed in the service, it’s kind of hard getting their attention too. One of the waiters did try to compensate for the clams to see if I wanted it more cooked, but by that point it was getting too late so we denied instead. Pass on going here, it was such a mistake choosing this spot over the Kicking Crab or Seafood Shack!
