This Rite Aid has the fanciest interior design. Sad how they don’t permit photo/video footage inside.

This store needs to teach their staff some manners. I was with my friend and her family last week in this store. Her father was buying himself beer and cereal while Me and 5 other kids waited with him in the line– when this older lady cashier with short gray hair named Kathy(I think?) requested to see all our IDs? Clearly we were underage and clearly the beer was for the dad. Kathy said to «leave the kids outside next time» & My friend made a joke to me «yeah because someone is going to leave their 2 year old outside» in which Kathy verbal attacked her calling her a smart ass and saying she wouldn’t serve the father if she continued to be a «smart ass». Completely attacking her in front of her father and family. My friend said nothing after being called a «smart ass» because she realized that there was no point in arguing as it was not the time or place and the whole time Kathy still continued attacking her, calling out negative comments about her lifestyle which was not true and incredibly rude, which not only made me uncomfortable even more, so think about how my friend felt, highly inappropriate. When leaving, Kathy was still attacking us saying to the father«are you proud of your daughter???» This Kathy person is the most rude person I have ever met and she needs to be seriously handled. She is horrible !!! She should not be in customer service. Something needs to be done about her. This ruined our whole day and we will never return to this store and advice other people not to as well for Kathy is an aggressive person and should not be around other people.

Went in to fill a prescription, was told to come back in 2 hours, went back then was told that my insurance was not good in Orange County that I had to go to LA County Rite Aid so I go back to the one I usually go to. They end up not being able to fill my prescription because the rite aid in OC transferred the original prescription to their store and instead of putting it on hold they deleted it all together. Now I have to go back to my doctor for another prescription… This was for my mom who is schizophrenic… she doesn’t have another appointment with her doctor until next month and she is out of meds… thanks Rite Aid for making things even more complicated!

first, I went to the Rite aid in cypress . But they did not have the medicine what my little daughter needs so one of the kind pharmacist offered me this Rite aid in Garden grove. She faxed my medicine information and said one hour is going to take it. So i got here after an hour and half and asked the pharmacists to give my medicine. She was checking here and there. I told her i faxed it. Then she checked the fax and told me it’s not ready. She wasn’t even felt sorry and did not say anything to me and just went back to her work. i was mad. I went back right after 20minutes later but still it wasn’t ready. They said i have to wait another 15minutes. They are wasting my time. i will Never come to this Rite Aid pharmacy;(

This place is fine for everything but their pharmacy. I’m not really one to complain about service but this place really screwed me. Aside from them being unprofessional, discussing my medication in front of other customers for example, their automated system continued to request refills from my doctor without my knowledge until my doctor began refusing their requests. At that point, I was out of medication and couldn’t make an appointment with my dr. Every other pharmacy informed me when my yearly prescription on its last month and this was the last straw for me. I’m not sure about other Rite Aids but I will never be using their pharmacy again.

Agree with the other good reviews about this store. This place is recently been remodeled and superclean and bright! I have all the usual stuff that anybody pharmacy would have, but the staff is extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with. The pharmacist even corrected a prescription error done by physicians assistant. It’s a good idea not to overmedicate! With another store between the house and this one; I could shop at the closer one, but I choose this one instead. The drive-through pharmacy window is open reasonable hours and it’s a block from the Eastgate park. Plus it’s located in the Von’s shopping center with lots of other stores, very convenient. Besides that Rite Aid has old-style scoop ice cream most of their stores. Where else can you get black cherry flavor on your way to a Concert in the Park? Well recommended…

Absolutely love the staff in the pharmacy here. The pharmacists Tom and Len are so caring and helpful. The entire staff is wonderful. Most of them know me by name as I’ve been coming here about 3 years. I moved to Carson a year ago and did not like any other pharmacy I tried, so I drive to G.G. from Carson twice a month. Having a good repore with your pharmacist when you have as many health issues as I do is a must. Lucky to have such wonderful employees at this pharmacy…

Classiest Rite Aid ever. Oxymoron? Not since this Rite Aid underwent a huge remodeling! The new interior, namely the floors and bright lighting, transforms your shopping experience and makes you… how do I say this… actually want to stay and shop! Of course, there is the ice cream, the most popular attraction of all. My favorite is a single scoop of rocky road in a cup, as they are extremely generous with their servings. And we can’t forget the automatic blood pressure monitor in the left corner of the store! Yay for ice cream and low blood pressure!

They reopened their store and COMPLETELY remodeled! I was shocked when I entered and also speechless when I saw their beauty section. It literally looked like a section of a mall! I LOVE their nail polish collection because they have everything! I will be frequenting this particular Rite Aid MOREOFTEN!!! Great customer service means extra stars ;)

Despite being the only person in line it took nearly 5 minutes for the cashier to check my 3 items. I got two cards and a big sweaty bottle of water. Of course genius girl dumps my fancy cards into a bag the proceeds to through that big sweaty bottle of water on top. Bending and making my letters moist. I pulled them out and was met with a shitty attitude. I handed over a $ 20 to pay for my purchase and somehow she put in a random number and it shows I owe a balance. Unable to think on her own she freezes… stands there for a few minutes… jaw drooping, saliva starting to build up… she looks at me… and tells me I need to pay more money. $ 1.82 to be exact. I start to explain how I gave her $ 20.00 and she entered $ 2.00 but realized it was futile. I understand that we all have bad days… but don’t be a bitch about it.

Nothing special/different/bad about this Rite-Aid compared to all others. Except… I waited way toooooooo long for ice-cream! Therefore, 2 stars.

First off, my beer is always on sale there! That’s worth 4 stars right there! People working the pharmacy are really friendly and go out of their way to help you out! Same goes with the rest of the employees who work there. A BIG plus is that’s it’s REALLY close to home!

When I was a kid, I grew up near a Thrifty’s which was a competitor to Long’s. Those don’t seem to ever have existed in NorCal but there is a proliferation of Rite Aid(which I don’t really go to) which bought out the Thrifty chain. When going into this Rite Aid, I saw that they still serve the Thrifty ice cream. What a blast from the past. Instead of the normal hald ball shaped scoopers, they have a cylindrical scoop gun, that picks up and shoots out a uniform can shaped form each time. Wonder why this never took off?
