Haven’t been here over 10 years. My dad use to bring me here when I was a kid. Brought my dad here today for remembering the good days out on a whim. I am happy to say the food quality is still good as 10 years ago and the flavor is still the same. Highly recommend this place.

I come here only for one item: Hu Tieu My Tho, dry, with clear noodles. They make it really well and tasty. Food comes out fast and service is decent. The big bonus is the remarkable prices. I don’t know where else I could get two bowls of noodles for $ 14, with hot teas. Thumbs up!

Tasty food and dirt cheap! I highly recommend the hu tieu kho dac biet with the«chewy noodle.» It’s a soup-less noodle dish that has sliced pork, fish cake, shrimp and veggies, with a shrimpy sauce you pour over and mix. You get a choice of noodles — phở noodle, clear noodle, or egg noodle. Get the chewy clear noodle, it has wonderful texture and compliments the other ingredients perfectly. The dish also comes with a side of warm broth to wash it down with. So good! and cost is about $ 6-$ 7. Yum! The others in my party ordered the soup-y version of this dish, the bun thit nuong(grilled pork with vermicelli noodle), and com thit nuong(grilled pork with rice). They seemed to really enjoy their dishes, but my dish was definitely the best! You gotta try it!

Hu tieu is great. Only complaint is the restaurant is dirty. It desperately needs a facelift

This is the place to go to if you want H Tiu M Tho. That is their best dish. They got a bunch of other food on the menu, but when you in the restaurant have a look around, most people order the Hu Tieu. Parking is terrible in the front, but there are extra parking in the rear. Also it right at an intersection(3 ways) so getting in and out is a bit tough. If you heading west on Westminster you will likely have to make a U turn to get in.

I’ve dined in a few times with friends but I’ve mostly gotten take out. The bf never had huu tieu until he met me but he absolutely loves it. He really likes the huu tieu here. This is our go to place for our huu tieu fix dry or with soup. The workers have always been pleasant to me and the food is ready quick.

Best Hu Tieu My Tho ever! Even better than their competitor Thanh Xuan in the Seafood Cove plaza. Get the hu tieu my tho. Get the hu tieu bo kho. Get the soda sua hot ga. And get out of there! :)

My friend took me here and I fell in love! I never had hu tieu out before but this will be my go to for hu tieu. I’ve only tried the soup hu tieu, not the dry kind. The service is very fast and pleasant. The décor may be a little outdated and may look a little old/dirty but food over décor!

This place was a bit difficult to find because my gps went a little crazy on me. The parking was great, there were barely any cars there. Don’t be intimidated to eat here because you dont see many people in the restaurant. Walking in, the mood setting of the place was pleasant. Our waiter was a young girl who was the sweetest person ever! Service was great and exceptional there. I had the house special there but with nuoc, and my boyfriend had the dry one but with clear noodles. The portions were just right for the both of us. I really enjoyed my meal there. My boyfirend also loved his dish, but near the end he got tired of it. It wasn’t because the dish was bad(because it wasn’t). He tried my dish and really liked the broth. I would consider in visiting this place again.

It has been a long time that I have not eaten at Phuong, craving hu tieu I told my wife we would go to a place known for good hu tieu«kho». Thank god ! Phuong restaurant did not let me down. The broth is flavorful and clear(no fat), and my wife liked the red sauce. The red sauce is a tomato based sauce, we detected some shrimp or crab paste flavor, the sauce is light, not salty and fresh. I had the hu tieu nuoc and enjoyed it a lot. The vegetable is fresh and plentiful. In Vietnamese food, Phở comes from north Vietnam, Bun Bo is the noodle soup of the central and hu tieu is south Vietnam. Good broth must be flavorful but clear, that means skimping all the fat at the top and simmering the stock pot, never let it boil. The place is clean, open and spacious, you can eat and talk with some privacy. Want good hu tieu and a relaxed atmosphere? come to Phuong.

This is my wife’s Go-to place for dry Hu Tieu with glass noodles in the Little Saigon area. She literally grew up on this stuff with her family. Whenever we come back to visit, she craves coming here just for that one item. Just a few caveats for newcomers. The parking lot is puny but there’s some additional parking in the back. Getting into the small parking lot from a 40+ MPH street is a little tricky. Phuong’s on the inside doesn’t look impressive and service is typical Vietnamese(if you know what I mean). But you should be here to get great Hu Tieu, that’s it!

Been coming here for the longest time, to a point where the employee’s and owner know my wife and I. We always get seated at our usually table and they don’t even ask us sometimes for what we’re getting, since we always order the same stuff. Their Bun Bo Hue is recommended and also the Hu Tieu with clear noodles and broth is the best! Parking is small in the front but if you can’t find parking, they have a some in the back as well. Service has been nothing but great for my wife and I. Haven’t really tried anything else on the menu besides those two dishes. Nothing too special about this place, we just go here since its local and since we’re regulars here. Overall great experience! Highly recommend it!

Best Hu Tieu My Tho in the area, it’s a weekly thing for me. Get the dry version. You know it’s the most popular item because people just tell the waiter what size bowl they want, and that’s it! Remember to add garlic. It’s a typical Vietnamese looking restaurant, nothing fancy. The dish is so good that even if you have stuff floating in your water(they said it was tea leaves), you still come back because it’s just so damn good.

I love this place! I love soup and good soup too! Every time I come here I order the #1 with the broth inside(as opposed to having it be dry or separate). It is very hard to get this order with the large flat white noodles. If you can get it with the large flat white noodle it tastes great! If not then settle for the phở white noodle… still good, but nothing like the larger white noodle. This order has Kale and bean sprouts to add to your soup… yummy and healthy. Their Thai Tea is great too! Would I go back: I go here A LOT during the colder season and when I’m craving it during the more warmer seasons. I’m an American fan here :)

I guess I’m new to Asian food since I lived in the south my whole life. And there’s not many Asian restaurants, so I eat whatever the rents cook. Sooooo, other words, first time trying hu tieu kho! which is the dry version of your every day hu tieu. I was a little stand offish on trying, but my friend insisted, and I’m glad she did! Yay! The hu tieu is set up like every other hu tieu but with no broth, instead there’s this paste mixed with tomatoes and shrimp?(That’s what it Taste like) on the side for you to dump in! Basically your Asian version of spaghetti in my opinion. It was delicious !! And thai tea was good too! Bill was 18 bucks for two people!!! How can you beat that… The server was nice too. Yay! Def will come back to this hidden gem(:

Been coming here for years with my family and the only thing I ever get is the Hu Tieu My Tho Kho! The place is in a small plaza and it could be tough getting into the parking lot. Not many parking spaces so good luck trying to find one in the front! There’s parking in the back if you can’t find any though. What I get: Hu Tieu My Tho Kho($ 5.50): comes with a plate of veggies, this red shrimp sauce, and a bowl of broth. Inside the delicious bowl is a quail egg, shrimp, and some char xiu slices. Pour in the shrimp sauce, squeeze some lime, add some sliced pickled garlic they have at each table and mix it all up! Add the veggies if you want, but I don’t like it and it still tastes good without it! Service: Just like all typical Vietnamese restaurants. Walk in, put up your fingers with how many people you have and basically pick the table you want to sit at. They will come take your order in like 2 minutes and food will come out shortly after. Pay at the counter! Just point at your table or tell them the table number.

Hu Tieu My Tho!!! One of the few items I can never find anywhere else! I mean sure there other places that have Hu Tieu My Tho but not like PHUONG’s! The sauce on the is addicting(only comes with the dry version) add garlic and you’re in noodle heaven!

Pretty old & runned down décor. Service is fair. I can’t complain or expect much because its An Asian place. Pretty big restaurant with tons of seating. Bo kho with a French roll isn’t on the menu but you can ask if they have it with the French roll. But you’re gonna have to go there earlier because they’ll run out of the rolls. I ordered the hu tieu my tho kho. It wasn’t bad. Definitely different than the usual my tho that I get at other places. Because of that sauce that you dump in to get the flavor. Plenty of parking spots. Cash only. This joint is worth a try if you like hu tieu & if you’re in the area. I wouldn’t say that its worth a long drive.
