I’m giving this place 2 stars. I would have given it 5 stars the first time, but my second time was an awful experience. Enough to keep my out of the dentists chair for a long time. The first time I came in Dr. Luu was very gentle and listened to every one of my concerns. We even had a personal conversation about school and jobs, I enjoyed that she took the time to calm me. I have extra sensitive teeth, like cold and hot foods bother me, so you can imagine what a drill and picks can do. The first time I got through with no novocaine and no pain, and I got fixed fillings(old fillings were worn) and I was so relieved that I found a doctor that was so gentle and that requires no needles! So coming back was out of the question. The next time I actually came in was for a cleaning and replaced fillings. She recommended that I get a root canal, but I felt no pain, no infection, I didn’t even know I had a cavity, I’ve had my molars filled as a kid and replaced them every now and then. I already had fillings so how could I have gotten a cavity that bad? Without me knowing? She said all this prior to actually seeing me, just basing this off of my X-rays. When my mom and I questioned why I needed a root canal, she didn’t have an answer as to why I needed one and said«Let me double check» if my tooth is bad enough for a root canal, I don’t think it needs double checking. She ended up saying that a regular filling was okay. I didn’t even need a crown, how did I even need a root canal?! I warned my mom but she was there anyway, and got her service. When it was her turn to go, she also had a few concerns but Dr. Luu kind of just nonchalantly brushed it off, my mom brought it up again at the end, wanting her to look inside her mouth, again, Dr. Luu just brushed it off this time with annoyance plus a side of attitude. and my mom still didn’t get her answer. My moms concern wasn’t all that serious, but a doctor should be able to answer a patient’s question. No matter how small, I think health concerns are quite important. I felt this time was so rushed. My mom and I were pretty much in and out. I felt like she was just trying to get to the next patient. Dr. Luu’s services and prices aren’t at all bad, I know what she’s capable of, the first time around was great! Although consistency is key, I rather have my questions answered in a professional manner, I wouldn’t like to be falsely diagnosed and lastly, I don’t like any services, especially medical services to be rushed. If I had heard that shale had any one of these qualities, I’d turn around and walk in the other direction. I’d gotten to see all three of these qualities up close and personal. Not all doctors deal with critical conditions, but it’s not like doctors are dealing with sales, or punching numbers, they’re altering someone’s health, dealing with their body and the limbs that come with it. Personally, I feel that if you’re a doctor, or a person working in the medical field, you should have an answer for every diagnosis and be able to address your patient’s concern, right or wrong, small or large, which Dr. Luu didn’t have for me or my mom. If a doctor doesn’t care or empathize for a patient’s concern and help them understand, I don’t think they’re doing their job to at full potential. I find it unfortunate that I won’t be returning to Dr. Luu’s clinic, nor will I be recommending anyone. To me, service is one thing but I’d also like to have the right experience.

This dentist is very affordable and professional. Her staff is friendly and great you with a smile. They break things down and give you options on different types of procedures to fit your price range and get your work done(I.e. Porcelain VS. Silver fillings).
