For a Vietnamese fast food this place is clean. Some Unilocalers they’re being too harsh about their workers yeah so what the worker didn’t say thank you or hi ect… but at least he or she didn’t give you an attitude. I came here and I ordered the following items. Chicken Curry 2⁄5 It was bland Braised Pork Spare Ribs 4⁄5 a nice little sweet & salty flavor Sour Shrimp Soup 4⁄5 lots of veggies and flavor Fried Fish 2⁄5 lacking in flavor and probably sitting out for awhile Workers 4⁄5 I had no issues with the workers Every time i stopped by here I get fast service and I was in and out quick. Im pretty sure theres better Vietnamese fast food places in OC but this is the cleanest one of all because it was built a few years ago brand new. I use to go to Thuy’s fast food a lot on Euclid but I guess they gotten lazy and don’t have a lot of selections of food like they use to have back than.

I wanna give this place NO stars. Was just there this evening and the girl at the counter tried to rip us off. I hope she reads this. YOUKNOWWHOYOUARE. My husband and I walked in with our 2 kids. I think she sensed we’re not from the area by the way we were asking about the foods. I’m Vietnamese from San Gabriel Valley so I don’t get to come out to Westminster often. She tried to sale us the«Ca Kho To» for $ 13 a pound. I asked to purchase the fish in their $ 6 containers. But she said, they only sell by the pound or half. So when we asked for half a pound, it was LITERALLY2 pieces of fish for $ 6.50! I said no thank you! She even tried to sell us two pork meatballs for $ 1.50!!! We did end up buying some lemongrass pork by the half-pound because that’s what she said they sell it by(a pound for $ 13 also!). I felt something fishy about that. Is this girl seriously trying to pocket the difference? Can someone who goes to this place regularly tell us if this is normal? I thought they sell based on the containers they had on display(that whatever fits in the containers you choose is what the price is). I really think she was trying to rip us off!!!

Excellent dim sum to go. When I am hungry and have little time, I come to this place to pick up some dim sum. Much better than other take out places and there is almost no wait. Dim sums are pretty authentic although limited in variety.

Their durian mung bean shake is super good. However, I’ve been there many time and they always make excuse such as they’re out of mung bean or durian so they won’t make my smoothie. They didn’t even tell me before hand, and they make me wait like 15 mins before telling me. Mixed feeling about this place :(

Very clean, very fast and friendly service. My first time here was earlier today after shopping in the grocery store near by. I wanted to treat my younger siblings for coming along and running errands with me. I got 2 Smoothies both without boba. Durian and avacado. They were the best, even better than top baguette. They use real fruits here and you can definitely tell what your drinking. Will definitely try their cooked food items next time I’m here.

I have been here twice and both times the same girl helped me. Not so sure if I should say that she is a girl… «Zombie» would be a better description. No «hello» nor eye contact. The only time she opened her mouth was to tell me my total. Not even a «thank you». She had that pissy constipated look on her face the entire time too. Ugh… Whatever. I came here for the cheap food. I expected the terrible service. They probably have double the food choices compared to other food to-go places, BUT seriously… That terrible service is starting to irritate me. I think I rather go to Banh Mi So 1. At least the old ladies there talk. They at least say«what do you want?» when you walk in and say«thank you» when you leave.

Great place for quick to-go Vietnamese food! When you’re on a time crunch like me during lunch breaks, this place is a savior! You can have a full meal for just $ 3!!! There are plenty of options to choose from, both vegetarian and meat dishes. –[[ Lemon grass tofu ]]- I think this is more of an acquired taste? My boyfriend didn’t like it too much, but I enjoyed it! I grew up eating flavors like this, lol. Eat it with some white rice on the side. –[[ glass noodles with tofu ]]- The glass noodles are good. The flavor isn’t too strong for those who aren’t used to Vietnamese cuisine(which can be fishy). I prefer it over chow mein type of dishes. –[[ spare ribs ]]- It can be a little on the salty side, but most Vietnamese side dishes are since you’re supposed to eat it with white rice. But I liked this dish, and my boyfriend did too! -{{ Overall tastiness experience }}- I give it 3 stars for being good to-go food!

There are many food to go places in Garden Grove, but this is by far the cleanest one I’ve been to. The food to go selection wasn’t that great, but it is average priced for most food to go areas. I heard their smoothies are really good but I have yet to try it. I got a stewed bacon and shrimp dish and it was whatever. I would get better food to go from Thanh Thanh or Huong Huong.

Wow, an actual clean and decent Vietnamese food to go place. The staffs were friendly and didn’t yell at you like some other places. The prices were reasonable, but the food was mediocre. I’ve head better tasting food to go in the Bolsa area.

The food is not the best. I always get Banh gio? Is that even spelt right. I’m such a disgrace. haha! It’s the banana triangle by the register. it’s dough with meat in the middle! It’s probably the ONLY thing good here. The food sits out all day, and it even looks like it! The service! omg! Crack smile lady! She rushed me and gave me dirty looks the whole time. She gave me back my change and I looked at it to check it really REALLY quickly. not even 5 seconds and she yells«Uh i gave you the right change. You gave me 10 and I gave you four!» Talk about embarrassing. I would never come back if it wasnt for the yummy triangles. i really need to learn the name haha

For what you pay, it’s a pretty good deal. But food is far from good. This is the first Vietnamese food-to-go place I’ve tried, there’s gotta be a better one out there.

I really like this place. It’s on the way home from where I work so I decided to stop here to get my fix of Vietnamese food since my mom was out of town. There were so many dishes that reminded me of my childhood :) The food is tasty, but it is pretty greasy. Not in a disgusting way, but it’s not healthy for you. You just pick what item you want, and how much you want to pay according to the container size. After you can get a huge container of white rice for so cheap! I paid $ 11.50 and it fed me for 3 meals. I also like that this place is a lot cleaner than the other food-to-go places. Don’t forget it is cash only!

This place is good, especially for take out because it’s not a restaurant that actually take your orders than make it, and the food has already been made. Their spring rolls are actually really good compare to Lee’s Sandwich and other small Vietnamese take out . overall: not bad and pretty good.

Finally a squeaky clean and yummy Food To Go place. Most of the FTG places I’ve been to have looked a little sketchy but that never stopped me from going. It’s nice to finally see a new and improved one. After I went shopping in the Huge Asian Market in the same plaza I rolled by here for some dessert and dinner for the night. In comparison to the other FTG places, Little Saigon Food To Go has double the selection of food. They have the basics like beef and broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein, and Fried Rice. What I always tend to get at these places are the traditional Vietnamese dishes. The type of dishes that I would run home after school and eat at my grandmother’s house. Here is what I got: Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Catfish Soup– It did the job, but was a little sweet for me. I felt that it needed a little more tamarind pulp to give it acidity. Generous pieces of catfish. =) Ca Kho To(Vietnamese Braised Catfish) — Not sure if they used Catfish. the texture was a little tougher and not as flaky as what I’m used to. Flavors were good. Braised Jumbo Bamboo Shoots — I love bamboo shoots. They were crunchy and had a great snap. You can also find chunks of pork braised with the shoots. Good if you like bamboo shoots. Stuffed Tofu with Ground Meat in a Tomato Sauce — Huge pieces. I think they charge 1.50 ea. The sauce was like a thick tomato gravy Went well with the rest of my dishes. Pickled Greens — Found in the Refrigeration section alongside the wall. Nice crunchy texture but lacked citrus. I like my pickled veggies to taste pickled and vinegary. They were way too mild. Ga Roti(Braised Chicken with Soy Sauce and Honey) — The largest pieces I’ve ever seen. They were flavorful and not over dried at all. Perfect on white rice. Green Flan Cake — It is bright green! And the texture is gelatinous and gooey but it is so yummy. Don’t judge a food by it’s weird color! It is addicting I can eat all four slices within seconds! Love the slight coconut flavor it has. I am not sure if they make it in-house though. May be form a local bakery. This place also does catering for parties. They also have a huge menu for party platters including Banh Beo, Eggrolls, Noodles, Beef Stew, Salads, Seafood, etc. Prices are very reasonable. I have always gone to DaKao for my eggrolls but I will come here for my next event. They also have fresh juices and Boba drinks. It’s a one stop shop! I also want to try their Durian Shake. Oh and the service is some of the best I’ve ever received in Little Saigon! The ladies behind the counters were so nice. I was so traumatized by the greedy and horrible service at Thuy’s Food To Go that I no idea that it could be so pleasant at a FTG place. She actually let me choose the pieces of Ga Roti Chicken I wanted! At Thuy’s FTG the damn lady insisted on giving me the dry old torn pieces of Chicken. Oh, and these pieces were double the size of the ones at Thuy’s. They were not stingy and jammed packed every styrofoam container with food for me. She even gave me a 50 cents discount for all the food I got! =) These ladies know how to run a business and keep customers coming back. Parking is plentiful. This is a plus considering how congested each plaza is on Brookhurst.

Avocado Shakes and 1.50 café sua da! Wow, a new juice place!!! Avocado Shake.4 Stars. Delicious and cheap Ice Coffee: 3 stars but cheap. The Juice Items have me being a fan. Looks like my old go to places Dakao and Phuc Loc are out of luck. This place is my new place. Food to Go items were all pretty cheap. I didn’t get to try any as I had a crappy dinner earlier at some other place. Menu sports all kinds of drinks including Fresh OJ! It’s nice to see a new business open up. I need to come back ! Little Saigon Food To Go. another reason the oc is the best place to live.

This place really is delicious! the prices are fair as well. they have such a variety of foods to choose from. so many foods my grandma would cook for me as a kid(my grandmas is better) but besides that point. i love coming here when i have a craving for fish. another thing i love about this place is the supermarket thats connected to it. i always go grocery shopping, so before i leave i can get a quick fix of yummmmmie-ness :) i am waiting for them to open their line of banh mi’s. their prices are pretty descent, pricing goes by container you choose. no meal is more than 5 bucks i believe. hey, maybe after school today i’ll go here=)

Stopped by the place earlier today with the fam bam, well mom was AWOL for this one. But my dad came in to say hi to his buddy who just happens to be the owner of this brand new little Vietnamese food to go joint. As they exchange«hello’s» and«happy new year’s» the owner says hi to us and asks us if we’d like anything to drink… on the house Being polite I initially declined until my wondering eyes caught the menu of drinks being made. I saw a smoothie made out of fresh squeezed cam(oranges) and immediately came back to the owner to place my order… my sister also had a change of heart and went with the avocado smoothie(read below) As we were waiting for the smoothies to be made the owner gave us a little tour of the back kitchen where all the magic went down, several minutes go by and i’m wondering… hmmm what’s taking them so long, only to realize the girl is literally peeling and hawking FRESH chunks of oranges into the blender… well I guess you can’t rush art As our order came I immediately sipped on my drink as I handed my sister her drink, both of our eyes lit up like christmas lights because this was some PREMO stuff! My sister had a slight sore throat, yet was still eager to try my drink haha I kinda feel bad for getting it on the house because I would have gladly paid for it. Next time I’m coming for the strawberry smoothie, regardless how girlie I’ll look rockin’ it!!!

2 words for you: Avocado smoothie If you’re Asian, or better yet, Vietnamese, you probably love Avocado smoothies(and they’re quite common around coffeeshops/juice bars in Little Saigon) If you’re not Asian, the concept of an Avocado smoothie probably sounds nasty because you wouldn’t think the two would mix. well. try it out and thank me later! :D They are surprisingly delicious, smooth and creamy. and at this new little food to go joint, they make em fresh and GOOD. real good. My family decided to pay a visit because my dad knows the owner of the place, super nice friendly guy btw. He offered me and my brother a couple of drinks, which we decided on Orange and Avocado. While waiting for our drinks to be made, I saw one of the ladies freshly peeling an orange and later with the avocados, which surprised me, not gonna lie! A few minutes later, she handed our blended treats with a sincere smile on her face. After the first sip of my smoothie I was shocked with how tasty it was! suuuuper delicious =9 I’ve always had avocado smoothies at Lee’s(which are mediocre) but the quality and difference of this food to go place right across the plaza is so much better! Full of flavor, not bland whatsoever, and oh so creamy and smooth. My brother’s Orange smoothie was also very delicious since it was made with fresh squeezed OJ. They have a ton of other flavors that I would try out next time, like strawberry/durian/taro etc. I’m sure they could make a really good iced coffee too after trying how delicious our smoothies were. They also have a lot of freshly made food they can pack to go for you like noodles, fried rice, spring rolls, etc. Everything on their menu has pictures so you’ll know exactly what you’re ordering and what it looks likes. or you can just point at the stuff behind the glass for them to pack up for you. Either way works: P Definitely coming back for another avocado smoothie fix soon! yum yum! :)
