I only get the cha gio here. Shrimp, pork, and kasava. Pretty solid taste and price. $ 36 for 60 pieces. Crisp, they don’t scrimp on the filling, and taste great.

I have been ordering egg rolls(trays) from this place for years, 6+. But, the last time ordered, people would say they are salty and too sweet,…MSG! This is why I would only give three stars.

Ok, so the posts on the restaurants are refering to two different locations. You can tell by the photos. There is one on Bolsa. which is way better than this one, on Westiminster. My Review is on the Westminster place and I posted a photo of the outside as a distinction! I do prefer the place on Bolsa! Uhhhh.Gosh, there is not much in Bolsa that I don’t like! Hmm, the banana cake dessert was good? I came here the other morning around 630AM. The To-Go items were mostly the hot cooked dishes. I found very little variety. The staff was grumpy. It could be that they just opened. This is the first time I have been here. However, this place is a Food To-Go place so I am going to compare it to the other Food To-Go places. Several other places are fully stocked, have variety and the hosts have pleasant dispositions in the morning. I did not find any of that here. While I was hungry, I only found one item appetizing. I was going to give only 1 Star, especially because of the grumpy ladies, but I am giving a half extra for the«yummy» banana cake(which was made at yummy bakery in Buena Park-so the label said), and a half star to give the benefit of the doubt that they just opened and that this is a place mainly for later in the day. Regardless, I would prefer going to Phuc Loc(Magnolia/Westminster), Thanh Tam Bakery(Euclid), Top Baguette(Yes Top has to go items), Song Long(Euclid/GGBlvd). Banh Mi Che Cali, Dakao, or even Thuy’s over this place. I think the To Go places with an actual bakery kick some serious Grub!

This place makes good Vietnamese sandwiches. Not great, just good. I almost want to give them four stars, though, because the ladies behind the counter did tell me I looked like a Hong Kong movie star — only darker. I’m not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not. Shoot, they even kicked down a FREE sandwich. I’d like to think the Hong Kong movie star looks got them all dreamy and generous. Great, I’m making middle-aged moms giggle like schoolgirls. WOOTWOOT. Ok, 3 stars. I can’t be that shallow.

Good place to go to if you’re hosting a party for a bunch of hungry people and you don’t want to get eaten. They sell large party platter/buffet trays of food for a really really reasonable price. The cha gio(egg roll) here is pretty good.

It’s Vietnamese takeout, nothing more, nothing less. They have a large array of dishes under heat lamps to choice from. Virtually all would be considered as traditional comfort dishes. I typically order their egg rolls or fried rice for work or what ever family gathering. Their egg rolls are decent and those are the first to go at our company potlucks. Tried their fried rice today, a little skimpy on the shrimp; but was equally successful. They are pretty efficient, call in orders are always done on time. Walk in orders obviously requires a little more time. The ladies are generally very nice and accommodating. Don’t expect any place to sit or ambiance of any sort; it is just a takeout, nothing more.

I’d give this place a 3&½ Stars. I love their BBQ-Pork, Salad, and the Vegetarian Salad. If you want those Salads, make sure you go there early on the weekend because they sold out pretty quick.

A huge selection of ‘scoop food’ but the staff don’t speak much English so pointing is what you’ll have to do. My only complaint is that the food sits for a long time and it could be kinda ‘unfresh’ by the time you get there unless it’s during the lunch rush. Not a huge selection of sweets or other snacky stuff, just the buffet tray take out style of food. Vietnamese and some Chinese style food available.

A lesson in ordering at Huong Huong: I want $ 1, 2, or 3 of [point to food you want]. The foods on the left have meat in them and those on the right are vegetarian. There are about 15 dishes offered everyday, which are representative of home-cooked dishes that you can find in any given Vietnamese home on any given night. I like the dau hu kho(carmelized tofu), mi xao(stiry-fried noodles), thit kho trung(carmelized pork w/eggs), and cha gio(egg rolls).

This is the BEST place to buy Vietnamese sandwiches(Banh Mi Heaven)!!! Not the cheapest, but most definitely the most delicious. If you come here in the late afternoon, they may be sold out. Trust me, it has happened! I usually pick-up the basic sandwich with the traditional combo filling of pork goodness, but honestly I can’t help it and pick-up a couple of their yummy bbq pork sandwiches as well! It’s located right next to Quan Thanh Restaurant.(Also another super yummy spot to get your Vietnamese grub on!)
