Stay away from this place. It is dirty and had small flies in their food. Don’t expect any service either.

First off, this is one of my favorite places to eat Com Chien(Fried rice), the noodles are good but not great imo. The service is typical for a viet restaurant, now here comes the great part, there is NOWAITATALL which is a good thing because I don’t have to wait a shit long time just for food. The food was alright though. I personally only like the fried rice, I think I’ll come back. By the way, the Shrimp Cakes that come with the noodles are delicous

This restaurant is located in the Tastea plaza, amongst many other restaurants. Was getting a late night bite with my boyfriend and went here because Unilocal said this store closes at 2:00 am. Arrived around 11:40 and was greeted kindly by the workers, being the only customers at the moment. We ordered a Quail Egg Noodle and the Xa Xiu Egg Noodle, one with the soup in and the other with the soup out. Both were very tasty, but the portion was a little light with the meat. I really enjoyed the broth. It was on the sweeter side, but it definitely hit the spot for me. I also like that they use the thinner egg noodle for these dishes as well. They started closing up once we got the food(putting up chairs and mopping the floor), so that’s when we realized they closed at midnight. They were very friendly about it though and never rushed us. Definitely give this place a try if you’re feeling Vietnamese egg noodles!

Everyone in my family was raving about this restaurant including relatives from afar, so we went for dinner today. The service was alright. The price was decent. The time of food coming out was not bad due to the nature of the food(crunchy noodle always take a long time). One reason for the 2 stars was that I happened to look up and saw one of the server PICKINGHISNOSE. He wasn’t even try to be discreet about it at all. And it was not just slightly picking… and hello I’m looking at him and he kept on going. After that, he took the ready food tray and served as if nothing at all. I don’t care how badly he need to do it, but he’s bring food to customers, but the restroom is around the corner. The second reason is I don’t like how the servers stand outside the kitchen and yelling in the orders loudly. Why can’t he go inside the kitchen and tell them the orders? Well I guess I won’t be going back for awhile.

This is my friend’s mom’s restaurant and I didn’t know about it until my other friends and I stopped by to eat here. I got #1 but dried noodles and soup on the side. I think the price is cheap for mi so that’s a plus. They give you free drinks so we all got nuoc mat. The food came out pretty fast and they gave us this special sauce to pour in our dried noodles to make the flavor pop. I would come back again. It’s cash only so don’t forget to bring it!

Definitely my go to place for Hu tieu or mi! Great quality and great customer service. The food is full of flavor and this place has a variety of different types of noodle soups and hot plates to chose from. The owner is very friendly and makes sure that the food comes out properly prepared. It’s very sanitary here compared to other Hu tieu places in westminster and garden grove area. I highly recommend everyone to try this place out. It is my spot to go to when I’m craving something soupy!

Totally love this place whenever I’m craving Vietnamese noodles. There’s never a wait even though it does get busy and it opens late on weekends too. I always order the special with clear noodles. They have different noodles like rice noodle(the ones you eat with phở) and the yellow egg noodles. I prefer the clear noodles with my special soup. Not sure if changing the type of noodles would make the meal taste different. They also give out free tea. Give this place a shot. I’ve brought a few people here and they all seemed to enjoy the food. =)

Food: I got the Hu Tieu Trieu Chau and it was pretty good! Everything inside the bowl is quality and it doesn’t even taste like it has a lot of msg. Service: The service is great here! The guy with the glasses was very helpful and active. I would definitely recommended this place!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This place lacks organization and service. The wait for the food is ridiculously long and the quality is nothing that is worth waiting for. The waitresses don’t even take your order on a notepad, but they take it on a piece of a napkin. They prioritize to-go orders before dine-in customers. DEFINITELYWILLNOTBERETURNING.

Located in the same plaza as Tastea, they took over the Thai place that use to be here. I thought it was weird how there are 2 noodle places like right next to each other. My family usually goes to the My Vi Mi Gia, but I decided to try this place with my BF since they seem to draw a good crowd too. What I got: Small Mi Dac Biet($ 7): you have your choice of having it dry with soup on the side or with soup inside the bowl already. Our server didn’t ask me if I wanted it dry or with soup so I assumed it was going to be dry… but it came out with the soup in it… so oh well… my fault for not specifying even though he asked every other table that came in after us. Comes with xa xiu, shrimp, quail egg, squid, liver, fish balls, and other things you typically find in an egg noodle dish. It comes with this fried shrimp crunchy thing and I loved it! That’s what made me want to try it in the first place… so even thought this wasn’t exactly what I wanted, the broth was pretty good still. Service: You get your typical Vietnamese service here. Order your food, get your food pretty quickly, then you never see them again until you go up to the counter to pay. I’ll probably take my family back here again and make sure I get the dry noodles this time.

Came here on a sunny day. Ordered their special Mi vit(duck noodles) and Hu tieu dac biet seafood(fish balls ground pork, shrimp, squid, crispy fried dough with fried shrimp, soup on side). It also came with sauce to pour into the bowl, a combo of fish sauce and sesame oil. They offer free nuoc mat(chrysanthemum tea), which is a plus on a hot day or any day! Service was very prompt although they were very busy. Luckily, we came right before the lunch crowd, yay! I’d come back here again if my parents want to eat this!

Just OK… My mom likes this place so we come here every so often, but It isn’t anything I ever crave so I don’t go unless she wants to eat here. The restaurant is small and the wait can be a bit long especially on the weekends. DUCKNOODLES are ok duck is already fatty, but they leave the skin on there which makes it even more fatty. Broth is pretty good and flavorful but I’m just not a huge fan of mi. COMBINATIONNOODLES also known as number 1 is ok too. It comes with a crispy shrimp chip that is really oily. Best to soak up some oil with a napkin because it’ll drip when you bite into it. Ew. They give a complementary drink that is pretty good and not too sweet. Parking is a hassle on the weekends but any other time is a cinch. Like others have said check your receipts before you pay because they tend to sneak I hidden charges. Didn’t happen to us, but has happened to my grandpa when he picked up a few to go orders.

This place really has good hu tieu. Compared to LDK, it’s more legit here. I ordered the hu tieu nam vang DRY and it was delicious! Good amount of meats, seafood and veggies. I also like how the place is clean. The menu looks entirely different then the pictures posted on here. Seems like they’re improving. But, sad to say I probably won’t come back because there was too much MSG in it! I felt like poop after and I was getting bad uncomfortable feelings behind my neck/spine.

The soup here is a little bland extra ingredients needed ! The hu tieu xao here is pricey for a small dish with tons of veggie, little meat & the wonton here is small. For some reason my boyfriend likes it here probably the only hu tieu mi place that open late beside luc dinh ky best fit for people that get off work late like my boyfriend. Will come back just to spoil my baby(; P.S: We love nuoc mat here, — Cash only —

I crave Asian food often, specifically Vietnamese because I’m bias(or racist?). And ever since moving away from OC after I got married, I make it a point to drive back to OC a couple times a week to have lunch with my folks. My mom took me here for lunch the other day because I told her I was craving«Mi» — for those who don’t know what«Mi» is — it’s egg noodle. And I like mine with soup as oppose to dry«kho». My mom said this was her new favorite place because it’s clean(probably because it’s new?!) and the noodle is accompanied with a shrimp chip that reminds her of the noodle soup back in Vietnam. Sweet! I ordered their special«Dac Biet» in a small bowl with broth. I really liked it! It reminds me of the place next to the famous Vietnamese dessert place called Che Hien Khanh on Westminster. Except this noodle joint is less scary looking than the one on Westminster. When I went there was a bright orange Lamborghini parked right outside! Nice!

Ong, they are cheating. The old woman tried to charge u more than the price on the menu. Just ask for the bill all the time u pay. Never come back again. Be careful with the old cashier.

Went here yesterday with my family for lunch since we were in the area. This place is one of the better noodle houses I have been to. I ended up ordering number 13 which is the special that comes with clear noodles(but I ordered it with the egg noodles) squid, shrimp, meat, a small egg, a fish ball, and even liver(I didn’t eat that though). They gave a good amount of noodles which actually got me full for once which is unlike other places that tend to give less. The squid was pretty good and chewy, and it isn’t as scary looking as it seems. The noodles were decent, but you could tell that they were stored in block form because my noodles were not fully softened since it didn’t cook long enough in the broth when they brought it out. It wasn’t a big deal though since i have experience that before and it’s not like the noodles were raw. All in all give this place a try. They also play clubbing music in the background so I guess they are trying to be a little trendy haha. Also, you can get nuoc mat or a soda for free with your order! Don’t miss out on that. For those unfamiliar, nuoc mat is chrysanthemum tea which is something you must try if you haven’t had it before.

Very good noodles. They have the Chinese taste. Lots garlic and soy sauce. If you’re familiar with noodles you would know what I’m referring to. Price Kinna sleep. $ 6.99/ small bowl. You can get it dry or soup. Both came with same ingredients. For their opening they are giving free nuoc mat or soda. Good service for a viet restaurant.

Tried out this mi restaurant because I was waiting for my appointment in the same plaza. The waiter recommended the mi vit tiem which is only one size for $ 8.50. Let’s just say the noodles weren’t that great of quality, and if I almost finish all my noodles(which I never do anywhere I go) you know they gave you a small amount! I also found a hair in my food. Only thing decent was the shrimp chip they gave my bf for his dish. Soda or nuoc mat is free. It must be from a liter bottle because you don’t get a can.
