First of all, you can’t get any cheaper than this karaōke place during Happy Hour. The happy hour starts from 2pm to 7pm and basically you just need to pay 2 hours and rest are free!!! If you want to sing your lung out but don’t want to spend your bank at karaōke, this is place is your go to place. I would say though that the song selections are great but not up-to-date. If you want to sing newer songs, you have to juggle through korean remote that they have. if not, you’ll be stuck with older songs. Other than that, this place rocks!!!

I really like this place! Their happy hour is amazing ! 2 – 7 for $ 20! Their rooms are really spacious and they have the songs updated super fast. My go to karaōke place !

Went during happy hour with my two friends and boyfriend and luckily it wasn’t crowded yet so we got a room right away. The room has two microphones and a medium-sized tv with posters of updated songs plastered all over the room. The keyboard in which you use to select and reserve your songs is in Korean characters which is kinda a downer because we didn’t know how to use to properly, but eventually figured it out 10 minutes later. They have a wide selection of songs, but not as current as I want. My friend and I sung Pillowtalk by Zayn so that’s about as current as the songs go. We were there from 4−7pm and we only paid $ 20 so $ 5 each which was such a bargain! I would definitely come back for some more. Note: The air in the rooms are NOT ventilated so it can get stuffy in there. Luckily, the hallway is cool so it’s nice to go out and take a breather. Hopefully an A/C can be installed so that way the party don’t have to break in the middle of a karaōke session.

Ding Dong Dang is a really decent Karaōke place with very reasonable prices. There are other places where the prices are definitely a lot more pricey, even some that require purchase of a drink; this one is great if you’re randomly feeling like singing and having a good time. There are several karaōke rooms of different sizes depending on the size of your party, and I assume the hourly rate is based on the room size(not sure about this). If I remember correctly, I think our room for 4 people was about $ 20/hour, so it was very inexpensive for an hour of absolute mayhem and crazy fun. Their song selection is very decent. They don’t have every song imaginable, but really popular songs are going to be there. The song listings include songs from several countries including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai?,… I didn’t look at them all, since I can only sing in English. Overall, it was a great place(definitely good value for money). It wasn’t the nicest Karaōke spot I have been to, but was fun for sure.

Open late, on the cheaper side, and a great selection of music. What more can you ask for? The service here is good too, for a Karaōke place. This place is right next to KoKo Chicken as well, so a night after soju & chicken, come here to sing the night away with some more soju! Great location and very huge lot for parking. Will definitely be back when i’m in the area!

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve come here. We came for the last 2 hours of happy hour, and I asked about the birthday special. He said that that was for weekdays only. We were first placed in a medium sized room, but there was so much feedback from the mic that we asked to be moved. We were then placed in a small room(which we originally asked for). One of the mics wasn’t working too well, but we just said eff it and continued. A small room rate during happy hour for 2 hours came out to around $ 40, which is a LOT more expensive than I was expecting, since the last time I came, it was around $ 3.50 each for a group of 6 during happy hour(I remember because it was so cheap). Meh, it’s not a bad place for karaōke, and if you only go once in a while, it’s fine I guess. :)

We got a small room for 4 people. Cost around $ 80 = 4 hours, which is pretty reasonable compared to many places I’ve seen. Singing with friends and laughing at each other after 4 hours were so funny and exhausting. This is a small local joint to let loose and sing your heart out. Place is a little bit old but it does have all the basic things you need to enjoy karaōke. Workers here are nice and polite. You can buy water bottle here for $ 1/bottle if needed. Plenty of parking in this area.

While Ding Dong Dang certainly has a fun name, this noraebang(NRB) is a bit on the grungier side and not really worth it after happy hour(ending at 8 or 9). They have some pop songs, but not a lot of recent choices(only 10 or less a month). The korean system can sometimes be confusing to use to because sometimes after you input the number you’re not sure if the song goes through. The small room is also TINY, I think with four people we were squeezed sitting hip by hip.

My friends and I went to Cafeoke for karaōke this past Saturday. We had a room fit for 9 people which was essentially a giant booth inside a room with two microphones and two screens. The karaōke remote was in Korean but my friend Grace can read it so she helped us figure it out. They have a fridge up front with cold drinks and some snacks you can purchase but they allow you to bring your own. My friends took advantage of the BYOB and we might have gotten a tad tipsy while reenacting our favorite songs. In between songs, I made a trip to the ladies room. The restroom didn’t have any seat covers and there was a sign that says not to put toilet paper in the toilet which was confusing to say the least. If people actually put their toilet paper in the trashcan, that’s disgusting. The trash bag was empty as far as I could tell but it was still fairly early. Time flew by fast. I was there from 9:30 pm til midnight but my friends powered through until they closed. I’m not sure how much the room was in total but was told to bring $ 20 which I happily plunked down as I was leaving. It was a great time with friends, but stay away from the restroom.

4 stars because they had a really good selection of songs to choose from, but there really wasn’t anything fancy about this place. It actually looked kind of run down. No big deal, we were just there to sing our hearts out. The rooms weren’t entirely sound proof because as I was walking over to our assigned room, I could hear the other rooms belting out some of their favorite tunes. I’m sure everyone really enjoyed our screaming rendition of Crawling by Linkin Park. You’re welcome. We were in room #2, there was plenty of seating for the 8 of us who were there, what I really enjoyed was that there were screens on both sides of the room. That way, if you felt the sudden urge to stand up and perform for your friends, you could still see the words. The song selection was awesome, we all got some straight up gangster rap, some boy band, some alternative rock, and we were also able to take it way back with Bohemian Raphsody. The music is listed in these large binders by song title, and I think there was another binder that was sorted by artist. After each song, your rendition of the song was graded, however I would like to have had a recount on a couple of the songs. I think it’s entirely random, but no big deal, it was still fun either way. This Karaōke place sells non-alcoholic beverages(like water) up front. Thank goodness, because we all definitely need it after singing out hearts out. Overall, this wasn’t one of those fancy karaōke places that serve food and booze, but it’s great for a group of friends who just want to have a good time reliving their childhood or college years. I’d come back.

*Karaōke** in Garden Grove So auntie Nadine was in town but it was her last night and I wanted to hang out and make it special so what else would we do late at night but sing karaōke?! I had class until 930pm and texted her, because she was flying back home to Hawaii the next day. They were at Roasting Water in GG, so I flied there right after class before it closed, I was lucky enough to get a drink. Then we were deciding where to go. Yuri and Tim and me. Auntie Nadine suggested karaōke so we Unilocaled a place of course and this place came up. Cafeoke Ding Dong Dang whaaat?! Ok whatever! lol So we arrived and I had to use the ladies room so I walked to the back and I was not alone in the restroom. There was a roach! Eeeeeek!!! I hurried up and left! This place does not serve food or drinks. They do have a tiny fridge that you can buy some water/soda and I think he sells chips/snacks too. That is about it. I believe you can just bring your own food/drinks. ~*Rates — $ 20/30/40/hr depending on how many people. We got a small room so only paid $ 20/hr. But OMG it is small. If you are claustrophobic, you might want to get a bigger room. I tried my best to deal with a tiny room. I think 5 people max in the smaller room. ~*Happy Hour — 2pm-7pm is 50% off but you only pay 2 hours and the rest of HH is free! ~*Parking — Tons! Located in a shopping plaza. ~*Birthday specials — 1 hour for free with paid 2 hours. When you go in the room, he will teach you how to use the remote. Pay attention! The remote is a little tricky to deal with and he speaks little English. He does NOT allow you to control anything like the volume. So if it’s too loud, too bad. ;( We did have a lot of fun singing songs but what I hate about these places, if you do not know what to sing, you waste time just looking through the entire book of songs. I liked it had a variety of international songs, not that I speak or understand any other language but at least you have choices, not just English. The book had a fair selection of American songs. Only at the end, I noticed the walls had posters of newer songs with the numbers on it. Great. We still had fun though. We planned only one hour but stayed for two. And after we paid, auntie Nadine asked if we could do just one more song for free and he let us lol yayeee! So we ran back, did our last encore and left. :) Now every time I hear«Shut Up and Dance with Me» on the radio, I always think back to this time! aahahaha! ~*Hours — 2pm-2am all year long, no holidays, they open every single day! Cannot wait til auntie Nadine comes back!!! ;) Thanks for reading!!! ~*kenzie*~

Don’t you just love the name of this place? That’s one of the reasons why we selected it! It was late, and we were enjoying being together so much that we didn’t wanna go home. We just wanted the fun to continue… especially since it was my last night in Los Angeles… We were elsewhere when we needed a restroom. McDonald’s was closed, so I thought, «Let’s kill 2 birds with one stone and find a banjo, and make more happy memories at a karaōke place»!! Using our Unilocal app, we found this karaōke place nearby. The reviews about the remote control in Korean kinda worried me, but the worker showed us how to use it. His English wasn’t the best, but I figured out that he was joking with us when we wanted the volume lowered and he made like it wasn’t possible to control the volume. He was trying to tell us that we would sound better if the music was loud! hahaha! He showed us how to find songs using the remote. I really didn’t want to learn how to search by artist or song title. I was happy enough with looking at the list of songs in the book. The list of newer songs are posted on the wall. We got a small, private room for 4 people at $ 20 per hour. We first intended to distract the guy(while we used the restroom) and leave if there were no Hawaiian songs, but I think we really did want to sing together. It ended up being so much fun that we stayed another hour. I think we could have done another hour if we had started earlier and didn’t have early breakfast plans scheduled. The guy was really nice after all! I saw a super good song on the poster on the wall and asked if we could sing one last song for free — and he let us!!! Yay!(I love free stuff!) So we ran back to our room and sang, «Shut Up and Dance» — it’s «our song» now! Luv it! Every time I hear that song, I am reminded of laughing with close friends that live so far away… Let’s go back again! Practice now and get your song list ready!!! Yippee!

They do not sell alcohol here. So come prepared! ;) We usually go here for cheap karaōke + when we have a friend under 21 with us. The price can’t be beat; I find myself paying double at other karaōke establishments. However the song selection isn’t that great; when I went last week we were scrambling to «pick the next song» ps they do not do bag checks here~ –1 no alch –1 old songs overall great value

Was looking for a quick place to karaōke for the birthday girl and decided to swing by here for $ 25/hour room. Compared to other places that charge per person, this price is a steal for 4 people. The remote is in Korean so just ask the guy to teach you the basics. Their books have a lot of songs in different languages but if you don’t find the latest song that you’ve been vying to sing; then definitely check out the posters on the wall for the more recent songs. Note: It’s like a time warp in there and there’s no timer so keep track of your own time unless you want to keep singing… forever.

Pretty good place to karaōke. I took off a star coz the small room is REALLY small, and the buttons were in Korean. I can’t really say I expect more, but at least put a sticker saying which is «reserve» or «cancel». Price wise.$ 50 for 2 hrs. Split it 5 ways. Wonder what the big room costs.

My friend suggested we do karaōke, so of course I made it happen. The day of she was incredibly apprehensive of singing in front of people. But all that was resolved. Cafeoke Ding Dong Dang houses individual rooms. It’s a sing in front of an entire bar kind of thing, so you’ll only be making a fool of yourself in front of your own friends. Included with our room were 3 water bottles and a tambourine to bang the night away. Our cost this past Friday night: -$ 20/hr for the small room that seats 4 – 6(4 of me or 6 really small people) –Our dignity

Unilocal 2015 Challenge #41 Cafeoke Ding Dong Dang. I could not remember it for the life of me. Came here on a rec from a friend. Cheap karaōke she said. And boy was she right. I came in a group of 4 ready to jam out and sing our hearts out! We came around 3pm and were informed it was Happy Hour from 2pm-7pm, and that if you did 2 hours of happy hour, the rest were free. On top of that Happy Hour included half price pricing. So it was $ 10 per hour for the room. $ 20 for 5 hours in a room? That’s $ 4/hour. And if you go with 4 people… see how cheap that is? Normally it is $ 20 for the small room(they have medium/large sized rooms as well). We went in and the manager/owner came in to explain everything to us. Type in the number, press the queue button, and press the play button. Cancel was the big reddish looking button that was there. You know, I don’t recall colors now anymore. I just remember where everything was cuz I kept pressing all the buttons. Then you look at the books. Korean, English, Viet, Japanese– it felt like they had endless languages and songs haha. Beware though, that the rooms aren’t soundproof and that you will hear other people and other people will hear you. They have 2 microphones in there and simple as finding the key code, typing it in, hitting the queue button, and hitting the enter button. I don’t know what the situation with water is, but the water in the refrig is $ 1/bottle. We saw paper cups but no water pitcher, so I don’t know where the comp water is ._. And they have some wigs and ear thingamabobs so that you can play dress up too! No alcohol. Fun place to jam at a really good price! Have fun singing your thang with your friends, lovers, and or family(:

I will say first off been coming here for years, ever since I can remember. No place beats going here for some good ol’ fashioned singing! I came today with a gf and we have frequented this place since our high school days. The place is definitely old and a little run down, plus they have recently renovated their interior nice screens, sturdy seats. They offer wigs, tambourine and sticky pics option. They even have snacks and refreshments at the front. Huge plus 7days a week happy hour from 2−7pm, sm room is $ 20/hr regularly half off during happy hour for $ 10/hr, if you sing 2hrs the rest of happy hour is free which means you could sing for up to 5hrs for the low low price of $ 20/hr divide that amongst friends and that is cheap! The songs may seem outdated and I’ll tell you why, they haven’t updated their posters so on the walls and the door it says 2010, but in reality that isn’t the case if you look at the pic I have uploaded you’ll see theirs a way to select the recent«pop» music songs with songs from 2014 featuring«frozen’s» — Let it go, and movies like Begin again with Keira Knightley and Adam Levine — Lost Stars If you push the button a window will appear you select pop and enter you’ll see a huge list of songs from maroon 5, beyonce, meghan trainor etc. I will definitely be back again with some more gf during happy hour to sing to our hearts content. The guy at the front can and does speak english he had no difficulty understanding us and I’m korean and I didn’t say a single word in korean to him from start to finish… Definitely recommend you check this out! :)
