Acacia Park

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. Duck poop everywhere. Stinky dirty foamy green water. I will never go back. Also the Unilocal address is wrong. It takes you to gated town homes. It’s actually across the street. You can park in the civic center visitor parking lot. I’d rather drive further to mile square park to have my son see ducks because this park is absolutely disgusting!!!

So I went here today with my nephew… the park was quite small with a lot of ducks, my nephew love to feed them, everything was good untill I saw a lady with a big box next to her, she seems to be nice, first she feed them, but the minutes I look back she grab one big duck in her hands and try to put it into her box I was so shock, and I didn’t know what to do at the moment so I keep on starring at her then she noticed me and she said «the duck is sick.» that obviously a lie but no one seems to care at all, there was another guy standing next to me and he didn’t say anything about it :(I wish I had a picture of her to show you guys. I’m so mad at myself for not doing anything to stop her, But please don’t repeat my mistake. If you ever come here and see something like this take pictures and report them. This is so wrong to catch wild ducks. That lady probably catch it for her dinner. There is no reason to bring a big empty box to the park like that, and even if that duck was sick she is not allowed to catch it to bring it home! She is not a Vet!

Well this is a small little park close to home, so we decided to stop by and feed some duckies today.
As we arrived we had no idea that there were WAY more animals then just ducks at this park! Bunnies, a BIG rabbit that some kid actually picked up lol, all sorts of different types of ducks and ducklings, tons of turtles, and roosters hens and chicks oh my!
It was a really fun time due to the fact that there were many animals to watch, but the park does need a cleaning: P Mostly all the ducks poop, other than that no trash or bums lol

*FIRST* nice, quiet little park by city hall. plenty of benches around the pond with tons of ducks! they even have a few chickens and roosters towards the library. if you’re afraid of ducks, I’d avoid this place.
