Spa Nordstrom

Stopped by Nordstrom Spa this weekend without an appointment, but the place was empty so I was ushered right in. The place was clean and nice but not quite up to par with any of the Red Door Spa’s I’ve been to. There’s no changing room, so you change into your robe and slippers in the private pedicure room but then go to a relaxation/​foot soak room. I was given a warm wrap for my shoulders and a glass of ginger peach tea. I enjoyed the foot soak but the room is right off the tiled hallway so while I tried to close my eyes and relax, the echoing footsteps in the hallway were a bit distracting.
After the foot soak I was brought back to the private pedicure room. Postives: technician was great, lying back in a comfy robe and covered in blankets was really nice. Negatives: bright lights and noise were a distraction.
Overall I had a good experience. Great value at $ 55. However, compared to the luxurious deel of (most) Red Door Spa’s, Nordstrom Spa came up short.

I loved my experience at spa Nordstrom! Me and my hubs came here for some post wedding relaxation. We didn’t get a couples massages because there wasn’t availability the day we could go, but they accommodated a later appointment. The facility as a whole is pretty small, with no amenities of a shower, steam room or sauna, but honestly, we were just looking for a massage.
We were brought into a dimly lit relaxation room and offered tea or water. I choose the tea and it was so delicious, probably something they have available in their coffee bar. We were given a warm lavender shoulder wrap that was so nice and was instantly relaxing. Then the massage therapists brought over two large bowls and asked us to put our feet in. They poured warm, scented water over our feet and we sat in the relaxation room and soaked our feet for about 15 min. We were then brought into our individual rooms. The beds were nicely heated and the 1 hour massage was just amazing! My massage therapist, Alma was very friendly, explained her technique and asked about pressure, concentration points and then worked her magic! One hour later, I was incredibly relaxed and refreshed! I would absolutely go back to this hidden gem!

The best keep secret. Had no idea Nordstrom had a spa until my gf told me. Her daughter used to work there. Their prices are not out of this world. Service is great.
I’ve only made appointments with the first masseuse I had. I really like her. They have specials and if you have a Nordstrom card there are days you can get double or triple points. I’ve purchased their lavender scrub and body butter, love that scent. I get greeting cards and phone calls often and really appreciate it. It’s my special treat, I work very hard and deserve it. Try it, you’ll like it.
