Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa

Love this location! I used to work at a salon and they don’t rush you in and rush you out like most salons do. They take their time, offer you tea, and make sure your comfortable the whole time.
I did the Balayage & Olaplex treatment with Melanie. Not only was the caramel color exactly what i wanted, it was silky smooth. She definitely has the magic touch with her blow dry.
I highly recommend this location and Melanie all the way for color!!! Thank you!

This review is long overdue…
After hearing all the rave of Melanie the colorist, I had to trust her with all these «word of mouth» recommendations. What’s better than that? I’ve always had a trust issue with bleach and color when it comes to my natural black hair.
However, I let that trust go.lol. Melanie won me over!
After having been to other hair salons, I’ve been told that I was able to achieve my ash blond in one seating. False. Not wth black hair is this possible unless you want to leave with extremely damaged hair.

All I can say, is she was right! I’m on my way to achieving the color I’ve been wanting to for years!

I couldn’t be happier with my services. My wedding was at The Garden City Hotel so I took advantage of the convenience. I’m glad I did because it really rained that day. it was so much less stressful to have everything right there and not be worried about getting wet or stuck in traffic.
Natale did my hair and Keenya did my makeup. They were both incredible as well as a lot of fun to work with. I bought hair extensions and Natale was so fast with putting them in. I received so many compliments.
My wedding party also got their hair and makeup done there. We brought some champagne, ordered snacks, and brought a mini-​speaker to play music… it was like the ideal pregame with my girls. The staff was friendly and their were a lot of laughs. Plus everyone looked beautiful.
My now husband and I also got the signature massage there. Unfortunately there is no steam room or sauna, but the lounge is comfortable. There are big couches and blankets with attendants bringing you tea and snacks so you are still relaxed and very spoiled. Both my husband and I agreed this was one of the best massages we ever got. I was annoyed I didn’t go for a longer one.
The place is expensive, but you are getting what you pay for: top quality, excellent service, and in my case, a convenient location.

The red door spa at the garden city hotel is amazing ! I had a much better experience at this one than the one on Franklin Ave (their waiting area couches were dirty, worn and facial was mediocre). A bit smaller than the one on Franklin but it’s such a different style & feel. They know how to take care of their clients. My aesthetician was running a few minutes late with her previous appointment so they gave me a complementary foot massage in the waiting lounge. My signature facial by Lucy was AMAZING. Very helpful to my skin. Only thing is that they charge a bit more here than the other red door spa. But it was money well spent.
