We’ve been taking our two young boys(now ages 6 and 3) to Dr. Kitsos since they started seeing a dentist, and Dr. Liz is terrific with them both. There is a nice little waiting area with games, toys, TV and a game console. The office is all brand new and the two rooms with the dental chairs are spacious with all the updated equipment. Dr. Liz is friendly and playful with both of my kids, and they actually don’t whine about ever going(which I hated going to the dentist when I was their age). For me 3 year old, he cries bloody murder when we try to brush his teeth at night every night, but with Dr. Liz, for a cleaning and when he had a cavity done, he sat quietly with zero issues. And in the end, she always doles out little toys or stickers to the kids. We’ve also recommended a few of our friends to her, and they and their kids think the world of her too. We’ve got nothing but high praise for Dr. Kitsos

Just recently took my 2year old for his first dentist visit to Dr. Kitsos. I decided to go to her based on her great late hours and its close to our home. The whole exam took 12min and cost $ 165…literally. How well did she exam my son in such a short period of time? She spent no time getting to know him or interacting with him at all. Didn’t check his neck or jaw for swollen nodes or clicks. He was such a trooper letting her scrape at his teeth and clean them with just a little bit of tears. Not to mention in the beginning she said«he is going to cry thats what toddlers do.» So insensitive! The right comment would have been«I will try to make his first dentist visit as pleasant as possible.» However, she just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. When he would clench down she would say«open up c’mon open open» in a really rushed and fast way that was making even ME anxious… no patience what so ever. Then she put a clamp in his mouth so it would stay open, which caused a raised scratch on his face. When it was all done… what did he get? Toothpaste and a PINK toothbrush. He wasn’t invited to pick anything from the toy box and when I asked for a blue toothbrush the hygienist looked at me like I had 10 heads. So in conclusion, I was soooo upset that my sons FIRST dental experience was rushed, inefficient, insensitive job that ended in a scratch on his cheek and NO prize. It literally broke my heart… as silly as that may seem. A child’s «firsts» should be special and this was not. Shame on you!
