A trip to the shores of the Parkesburg Sea isn’t complete without a visit to this historic landmark. Grab a block of cheese and a bottle of whiskey and the lighthouse keeper will regale you with glorious tales of the storied history of the Gap Lighthouse. Conveniently located near several fine eateries, not the least of which is McDonald’s, a visit to the lighthouse is a wonderful daylong excursion.
