I bought some stencils to re-paint white lettering on red curbs. I really tried to buy the right thing but, in the end, I got them and they just weren’t going to work. Refunds were restricted so I figured, «Oh, well, I’m out $ 100.» I sent them an complaint e-mail and they said that they would try to help me. Customer service said that they wanted to help but they were difficult to work with. The underlying tone was«this is your fault, not ours», «you are wasting our time» and«all our other customers are happy». They offered to do a custom stencil but, when the drawing came back wrong and I wanted to correct it, they decided to issue a refund rather than fix it. Their production system seemed inflexible and expensive. They only wanted to do it right if it was easy. Customer service seemed fake: they talked the talk but, in the end, they just wanted to get rid of me. During the process, I got a happy talk e-mail telling me to post reviews. I took the time to write up two honest reviews where I tried to be factual and fair. A few weeks later, I checked and saw that they had deleted it. All in all, it was a pretty unpleasant experience.
