Hilltop Meat

Last time we ate here we were not impressed. The food was OK and they were out of a few of the sides we wanted. The wait was pretty long and it is really cramped if you sit in the dining area inside. We have not been back since our last visit about 8 months ago.

This is a meat market by day and a restaurant by night. I came here tonight for some dinner. I had swung by here the last 2 nights but they were closed. They were open tonight and I had a pretty darn good meal. Thursday nights they have a «steak special» which consists of a 16oz ribeye and a side (I got a baked potato) for $ 12.99. I also ordered a dozen steamed oysters which came topped with cheese and jalapenos. I had a Coke to drink. Food was good and service was friendly. Everybody knew everybody and the Southern Charm was in full effect. Total after tax and tip for my meal was $ 30.00. For a big steak, a good baked potato and a dozen oysters it was a hell of a deal. I would definitely come back if I lived here!
