Staples Corner Liquors

This is a nice beer store, but it’s also very expensive, with hardly any discounts or specials. The selection is also a little heavy on the super high ABV barleywines and the like, and could be better at keeping a general variety of cold craft beer in stock.

This is one of my husbands favorite craft beer stores locally. They carry a nice selection of most local beers as well as beers from all over.
They also have a growler station with 4 rotating taps. Usually can find some great selections there.

This is a Liquor and Beer store. With a great selection of Beer and average selection of Liquor. It gets a «D» on its Wine Selection.

I’m just here to repeat what everyone else is saying. Staples Corner Liquors is a great little store with a daunting selection of craft beer and wine. Go often to try the tastings and fill up your growler. They’ve also got some neat promotional beer glasses (some with their logo, too) to add to your collection. You’ll end up spending a lot of money here but it’s worth it! GO GO GO!

This is my favorite craft brew store in the Crofton area. Jack, the owner, is a super nice guy and usually available if you have any questions about beer or wine.
They have a huge selection of craft beers and wine. They have a lot of hard to find beers — both available warm and cold. There are frequent beer tasting and they used to fill growlers — which I believe they will begin to do again shortly. A++

When you’re craving a good deal on some wine or a great craft beer… Hell if you’re craving alcohol at all, GO HERE INSTEAD OF that store in Waugh Chapel!!! The people here are so friendly, unlike the other place, and their selection is really good. I can’t believe I drove by this place everyday and missed it for so long. Not to mention, they have a couple pups hanging out behind the counter! I loved that «family» feel — this is my new wine/​beer store!

Great selection of beer and wine, and they fill growlers here too now. This is my store of choice whenever I feel like trying a new beer.

Great hidden treasure at the intersection of Route 450 and Davidsonville Road… the address says Gambrills, but it’s really Crofton. They have a wide selection of craft beers with a walk-​in fridge, and a very eclectic mix of wines. On Friday evenings they have beer tastings, which sometimes include someone from a brewery or distributor, but more often than not, involve some bottles stuck in a tub of ice with cups and an opener and you can just help yourself — which I love. They always seem to have bottles of wine open (with the corks stuck back in, of course) and little plastic cups, and you can just help yourself. That, plus the «Your choice, any bottle for $x.xx» table has caused me to leave with more than I went for on more than one occasion.
Moving back to beer… they have a very extensive line of craft brews, including several choices from Southern Tier (mmmm, Southern Tier IPA) and Rogue (do they still count as craft brews? am I just using the term incorrectly to mean NOT Coors Light?) in addition to the nice local Clipper City line and a fine assortment of German, English, Irish, Czech, and Belgian beers.
The owner, whose name I can’t remember, is a bit cantankerous, but has given me some good wine pairing advice — so I keep asking.
All in all, a great local liquor store (actually, is it really more of a beer and wine store? I can’t remember if they have liquor… if they do, I don’t think it’s very extensive, probably just the basics). PLUS — it’s two doors down from My Butcher and More… but that’s the topic of another review.
