I love all the extras that come with having a massage here! It is definitely worth every penny! My husband and I went in for massages and while we were both impressed with the facility and all of the amenities that go along with their services, like a steam room, showers and a relaxation room and cucumber water, neither of us were particularly impressed with the actual massage. He needed a deep pressure massage and I respond well to pressure points, but both of us received a basic relaxation massage. Nice, but not what we requested, and at these prices, we expected to get a good or better massage. We may come back and try again for a special occasion, but for now, we will try a few other places a try.

Be careful! My husband bought me a gift card for Christmas. They have a «med spa» that is closer to the roadway. It says Robert Andrew on the awning. He had no idea he was is the wrong place and now I’m stuck with a gift card for a place I would never go. I’m told is a seperate buisness so I’m stuck with it.

I have been coming to Robert Andrew for years, and have always had great experiences with the stylists and aestheticians. The overall management is very inconsistent and the environment is frustrating. I recently scheduled for a service, took time off work, and found the appointment cancelled. I rescheduled, only to have the same issue. Frequently, I am greeted near the door by someone who tells me I am «checked in» only to find 10 – 15 mins later that I was not. And today, when greeted at the door, the greeter pulled out a walkie talkie and announced my arrival to my stylist and the entire spa — a la K-Mart’s «attention shoppers.» Not classy.

AMAZING service!!! Purchased a diffuser and Aromatherapy oil for sinus issues. Extremely professional. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the right oil that would fulfill my needs. Highly recommend if you are in the market for high quality, Aromatherapy products. I’ve tried others, but, this surpasses them by miles.

Visited this spa for the first time and was really impressed! Everyone is professional and friendly. The spa is clean and relaxing. And the service was top notch! I will definitely be back! I just moved to the area and have been looking for a spa. I have visited a couple in the area and was not impress. This place is far better than any I have visited. I highly recommend a visit!

After almost 5 years of not attending this salon because I didn’t receive great service the last time I went, I decided to give it a second chance and I had an appointment this morning. This was only for a hair appointment to get specifically balayage. The positives are that I called yesterday and they were able to accommodate me at a time I preferred for today, the stylist was new to the salon but very nice and talkative. The appointment was started right on time and finished an hour and half early. However, I was unhappy with the way my color and cut turned out, it was actually not anything I asked for. I even showed pictures which my hair now looks nothing like the color I requested. At the end of the appointment as the stylist was blow drying my hair, one receptionist said something to her to the extent of another appointment arrived in which the stylist replied, «Ok, I will wrap it up here». The style of my hair was supposed to be loose curls but it did not look professionally done and not only was it still wet when she was completed but had a ton of product that weighed it down and I had no volume at all to my hair. The worst part was when I got into my car I noticed the coloring was all over my skin on my forehead and around the scalp. I called to ask the best way to remove it and the woman had no idea and upon asking she recommended a method but did not apologize or ask me how my service was. Even upon checking out not one person asked me how my appointment was. I was so disgusted that I had to redo my hair when I got home and felt like the time and resources necessary for this appointment were a complete waste. I felt rushed the entire time and for the cost of the salon, that didn’t help. I will not return to this salon nor recommend it to anyone for hair services.

I spent over $ 200 for less than stellar service. It’s a beautiful place and my aesthetician and manicurist/pedicurist were nice. However, I waited for more than 20 mins for my first service and then another 20 minutes for my second service. No one bothered to offer me coffee or water. No one bothered to give me an update. «Sorry for the wait. It will just be 5 – 10 minutes» would’ve gone a long way. It was my first time and I will not be back.

I recently moved to MVA and after lots of money waisted and horrible experiences I finally met Jerry at Robert Andrews, she is talented, very knowledgable and gifted. So very pleased with her I strongly recommend her!

I rarely get my hair done from salons because i NEVER ever like the end results. But i had gotten it done for my friends wedding not too long ago and i was quite happy. This spa is veryyy relaxing and inviting. The service is excellent and they give you water and treat you like king and queens. But i just think they are so over priced. But i cant really complain. You are paying for a royal treatment.

I’ve been here 11 times in 6 years. I went there for a birthday massage Feb 5th and she was awful. $ 90 massage and she probably spent 30 min at the most. Plus they banned men from the tranquil room because some old hags felt uncomfortable? BS, they should go somewhere else. I’m never going back, that plane went down hill. Your better off going to the BSoM for $ 25.

All services are pricey. I would be there more often if I had more money to burn, but I don’t, and hence four stars instead of five. However, I am rarely disappointed with this place. The décor is Roman, classy, wide open space. There is a large area to the side for the spa. The tranquility room is very nice with many chase lounge chairs, soft bath robes, cushy flops, dim lights, soft music, and cucumber ice water while you wait for your service. Very relaxing. The nail salon is upstairs. I have only had one pedicure here because they are not cheap, but there is one tech… Tyryk…he is amazing with the foot/leg massage… I have never had one like it, and I have had a lot of pedicures. He’s booked for weeks ahead of time. How’s that for an endorsement? I have been going to Mary now for non-thermal straightening and cut for 5 or 6 years. I have moved to the top side of the DC beltway and will not see anyone else because I have gone to others here and there when I just needed a trim, and have been consistently disappointed. I always end up back with Mary because she does a fantastic job!

I think with this establishment, its only hit or miss depending on your service tech. I have had 2 or 3 massages with this spa, with 1 being a recommendation, and I have to say I wasn’t thrilled with any of them. Maybe I need to try others before I write RA off for good in the massage department. For pedicures, I have one go to person who will remain nameless as it is very difficult to get on their schedule. I will just say that their massages are the BEST with this person and their personality is also very pleasant. They really take their time and make you happy. Shannon(whom I cannot tell if she still works there or not) gives the best and quickest brazilian waxes. I no longer go to her because I do my own brazilians and dont have the need to spread for anyone anymore. Sunni is also good with Brazilians. I had a chemical peel done here when the RA med spa was further down the road. After I peeled like a lizard, I looked like a new woman, but I cant say I shouldnt(as the whole purpose for getting a professional peel is to actually PEEL). Although, I began doing my own peels with Dermalure. I had a few facials here, nothing memorable. Hope this helps.

Worst massage I ever experienced. I complained to the manager, and scheduled to see a different therapist with another appointment. Well, that massage therapist was horrible at this session too. I requested to apply more pressure 3 times and still nothing, either my therapist didn’t know what she was doing or she was just lazy. I didn’t pay for someone to rub lotion on me I expected a deep tissue massage. All I got was disappointment and frustration. Finally I told the therapist to stop in the middle of my massage and leave because she was just wasting both of our time.

For years I have used Robert Andrews for others and this time I decided to treat myself. I called the morning of the 10th and was given an appointment that afternoon. I was created and checked in immediately and asked to wait in the men’s lounge which is more of a men’s penthouse then anything else. A steam shower, shaving area, and reclining chairs are a few highlights of the men’s lounge. My massage was decent, I think I would prefer the to just sit in the lounge and watch tv with my feet propped and my phone turned off then to have the massage but to each their own lol. If you want to get away from the stress of life give yourself the gift of a massage. This place is amazingly clean not a spec of dust or anything around. Robes, towels, sandals, lockers, are all provided.

Overpriced. I have been there several times for my highlights and have tried different stylists. They are so busy, you get the feeling they rush through your hair. One burned my hair off by applying a bleach product over hair that had already been lightened. It is taking me years to grow it out.

My husband booked me a maternity massage, mani & pedi. Upon entering the facility, I was impressed and excited to get a much needed pampering. The spa/salon itself is very nice and has a lovely ambiance. The tranquility room was soothing and peaceful, perfect setting to calm and relax yourself prior to a massage. Prenatal Massage: The massage was ok, I have most certainly had better especially for the price. Manicure & Pedicure Service: The mani & pedi service was great. I had Kris, I highly recommend her, she really enjoys and takes pride in her craft. I am pregnant and recently began experiencing the swelling joys that come along with pregnancy. The treatments that are attached to the signature pedicure were super soothing and revitalizing. I must say that was the best pedicure service I have had in years. I would go back for a pedicure if I were in the area for sure! I will pass on the massage… Tips for the business : It is likely time to either refresh or get new neck pads. They smell like old hydrocullator water that is over due for a good draining and cleaning. Answering the phone: We called twice and had to wait ten or so minutes trying to reach someone…

I AMFURIOUS! I not only had the WORST haircut and color, NOW I find out they charged me for it when they apologized and said they’d «take care of it» How can they legally charge my card without permission or my signature? I payed for a spa service and they used that info to charge me for the AWFUL cut and color! I will call first thing tomorrow and call police if I have to!

Seriously, where do I even begin? This place is amazing — definitely best bang for your buck. My husband booked us the Couples VIP suite in the Venetian room and I told him it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. After filling out paperwork, we were individually taken to the ladies/men’s dressing rooms and the receptionist took the time to show us the dressing rooms, the lockers, etc. since we arrived a little early, we each took some time in the steam room, which was nice and relaxing but super hot, obviously haha. After, I went to the tranquil room to wait to be called, a dimly lit room with several chaises and couches, and ladies were sleeping or relaxing after their treatments. I would definitely take advantage of this after a massage to just rest and close your eyes! Once called for the massage, we were offered hot tea, infused cucumber water, or coffee before going to our suite for our relaxing soak. The jacuzzi tub and massage tables were all in one room — which was so nice! It gave it such a romantic and private feel. The«pool» itself was already turned on with bubbles and rose petals. We were given 30 minutes to relax and enjoy our time in the water. At 30 minutes, we climbed into our massage tables and the therapists knocked and started to work on us. We had Terry and LaKrisha as our therapists and they were amazing — my husband and I both agreed they were very skilled. After 50 minutes, we were given time to dress and were brought hot neck towels and the lunch we had pre– ordered. It was so relaxing to just stay in the robes with the hot towels and enjoy our lunch together. I can’t stress how amazing our experience was, and I wish we were staying in the area longer so that we could go back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I believe in taking time out of my hectic life for pampering and to get revitalized & replenished. As such, I’ve explored various day spas in the DC Metro area, but I always return to Robert Andrews. There are so many things that contribute to a great spa experience, but I’ll highlight key factors that give this Tuscan themed, world renowned spa the edge. +State certified aestheticians and massage therapists who actually love their jobs +Wide array of service offerings, quality skin care/spa products, and waxing. RA is a full service salon and spa that offer specialized facials, massages, body treatments, Vichy showers. Most of the time, I select the RA Signature facial because the aesthetician can customize it based on my unique needs +Spacious Tranquil Room that’s dimly lit, has comfy seating(chaise lounges, chairs, sofa) and a fireplace to help you relax. It never gets too crowded. +Super clean facility with attendants constantly sanitizing to keep it beautiful Such an utterly complete indulgence. Can’t wait to return!!! Tip: RA personnel will graciously open lockers(no side eye) if you forget your code from being so relaxed
