IHOP

There is never a happy. medium here. We come here almost every other sunday. I love breakfast. We get here and we either get a crappl server who is slow as all get out or we get no service at all. Don’t sit us in a section with no server… duh. I have worked in food service before as a server and I still do just not on the server end. Ignoring a customer is a big no no. All of these people came in and we were ignored. Most places I know want tips. No above and beyond here. If it’s not their section they’re not doing it.

Hmmm pancakes! First off the food was good. Fast, hot, and fresh. Some IHOP restaurants seem like the food is pre-​cooked. Not this one, it was very good.
The downside of this IHOP is that it is very dirty. Dirty tables, dirty seats, and dirty rags. Boo! It was disappointing because this is a newer location that seems to be struggling with the upkeep of cleanliness.
We were very close to walking out but I was starving and my pregnancy craving overruled my husband. Hahah.
Another star was taken away for the bathroom. IHOP always seems to have the worst bathrooms. It was extremely hard to change my daughter’s diapers. The table worked but the box of napkins wouldn’t close and I had to hold it with my arm so that it wouldn’t hit my daughter. She had to help me hold it out of her face because it wouldn’t lock. I failed to bring it to the managers attention because she was busy running food and by the time my food came, I was too busy stuffing my face.
I will give them another shot but if it’s dirty again… no thanks.

Looking for a late night snack? Swing on over to IHOP where you will find good food at great prices all hours of the night. Perfect weekend late night snack location. Restaurant is clean. Service is friendly. Food is good when it comes to fast food options. Recommend.

Not very pleased with the service or the food. Came here for the free scary face pancakes. Where it states one per child. I came with 4 children and was told that only 2 would b free bcuz they fail to tell you that it’s one free pancake per adult purchase. when it clearly doesn’t state that on the advertisement on the tables. moving forward. I ordered a strawberry crêpe combo. Which comes with eggs the way you want it, choice of bacon or sausage and hash browns. Sounds yummy right… Well let me tell you this. The hash browns look like hash browns you would get in prison. It a block of hash browns. Literally. It kind of reminds me of a toaster strudel. You kno hash browns usually have a little hit of a crispier taste due to cooking it. But these had a stale crispiness to it. Not at all satisfied. And I can see exactly why this place had such terrible reviews.
I would like to add our server wasn’t rude or anything like that, but I just feel as if this isn’t the job for her. She’s has somewhat of a dry personality. And doesn’t engage with her customers.
All And all if your looking for food that’s worth eating and worth spending your money on. I suggest you speed right past this place and head to DENNY’s! At least their hash browns look like real hash browns.

Food was your typical ihop food, but the servers ehhh. The biggest complaint I have is the smell in the restaurant. A very strong urine smell.

I have a high expectation for a place that JUST opened not to long ago. Upon my first visit here, first thing i noticed was, it was packed… which is a good sign to me. Clearly you have a good customer base, entering it was clean, looked nice and friendly staff. But when we sat down, near the kitchen, I was attacked BY 8 Flies!!! I counted. The most annoying and nasty thing to fight while eating… flies…I mean endless flies. In my hair, on my table, on the menu, on the seats… so we asked to move. Moved to another spot farther away and we had 2 flies… geezzz…I’m just trying to eat… y so many bug issues on a brand new property. Food was decent but will not return.

This place needs more staff. Only one server on duty (who was great, major kudos to her for trying her best to keep everyone happy) but needs more. Also one cook on duty too, had to wait over 40 minutes for our food. Please hire more staff! Bad management in my opinion. What little other staff was there simply disregarded any patron requests and hung around talking while the one server worked very hard.

It’s mostly a breakfast place. Their lunch and dinner is mediocre. I understand that it is open 24 hours and has lunch and dinner late night and sometimes breakfast but the lunch and dinner should not be on the menu or they should have a limited amount of items. I only like the pancakes which are good. The last time that I went there, the service was horrible.

Eggs were watery, pancakes burnt and we were under attack by 3 different flies! Eww…

Went today bathrooms were dirty and smells. Waiting to get served ten minutes no offers of drinks, table needed to be cleaned felt like we were invisible. Will not be returning. Never did get waited on.

OK I think three stars is feasible for this establishment. My hunny and I had date day so I treated us to breakfast. We decided to try this one out. We didn’t have to wait too long for a seat on Saturday morning… maybe 15min. Not bad at all. It was very packed.
We ordered the big steak omelet with side on NY cheesecake pancakes and the French toast platter with eggs hash browns and bacon.
Everything was yummy but my partner’s French toast was on the dry side and my pancakes were just a tad dry. Nevertheless the food overall was very good… my order sure was.
Customer service was awesome… no issues there surprisingly. We will definitely make this a regular spot and keep returning when we want a special treat.

I just don’t get it.
Since this place has opened I have tried to go here 3 times and every damn time there was a wait (not a holiday or around meal time just a normal work day at an odd time 10am Wednesday something like that).
All 3 times I was told there would be a wait when there was basically no one there and most of the restaurant was empty. All three times I told them it was crazy and just left I was not waiting when there were not that many people there.
I’ve given up on this place I will not try it anymore.
They need to get their act together.

There are so many things i could complain about… from the unprofessional staff waiting at the front door talking about how they don’t like their job to the most horrible food i think i have ever had at an IHOP. I ordered a Tbone combo w blueberry pancakes. The first order of pancakes were burnt and only had like 2 blueberries in each. I sent them back and they came back with more blueberries but were not done. They brought my brothwe a birthday sundae with FREEZER BURNED ice cream. When i said something to the server another one who was standing there said… THATS WHY IT WAS SO HARD. Thia tells me they knew something was wrong and gave it to him anyway. I WOULD NOT COME HERE AGAIN. Our server Alexis was great and at least the manager was reaponsive by comping my meal!

Food was cold when served, they forgot to not have the whipped cream on my French toast. The only good thing was our waitress Alexis… she was probably the best thing the restaurant has to offer.
Then they sang happy bday to me and gave me ice cream that was freezer burned. Thank you IHOP for a great birthday… or not.

I’m not a fan of IHOP’s menu and while they do breakfast well I feel the calories can be a bit steep!
But … if you have a craving for pancakes, IHOP is the place to go. Great pancakes, great waffles, and the build your own omelet can’t be beat. Their coffee is pretty good, too.
If you ever visit this particular IHOP, ask for Ashley! Great service, friendly smile and she ensures the cook makes the order to your liking;just like Burger King! :-)

So I was greeted nicely and sat at a table quick enough. But my server Ashlie was rude to the other server and was not any nicer to any other interaction I saw her in. New IHOP location, so why is it I was given a highchair with broken safety straps? I did not ask for a new one. My order did not come out right, sausage not cooked through (red, not pink) and my server was so uninterested. I asked for check and box (2 full plates of food left) and she brings me a small box. So I had to ask for another box that was big enough to fit a pancake– AT IHOP! Just blah. Bowie location is hit or miss and it looks like I have to find a decent server at this location.

This location is new and today is running like a well oiled machine. I was greeted at the door and promptly seated. I ordered the funny face for my toddler and I had the Denver Omelette with turkey bacon instead of ham, sour cream on the side. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. I am thoroughly impressed with this location and will add it to the rotation since BabyQ loves it so much!

Just about everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. We were seated at a dirty table with syrup all over it, had to wait ten minutes to put in a drink order and then waited 30 minutes for our food. Every single one of our four plates had something wrong with it (burger not plain like we asked, blue cheese put in salad when we specifically asked for them to skip it, regular fries instead of seasoned fries, tomatoes where we asked them not to put them).
There were families around us that arrived after us who were finishing their plates as we walked out. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before today. I’ll never go to this IHOP again.
I rarely ever write reviews, but my disappointment in the service today warranted it. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

I have been to this location twice before.
The first time was okay, the second time got better, and now this time was very pleasant.
I got there with my daughter about 9:20am. My waiter was Christopher and he sat me and my daughter in a booth. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday morning in my opinion, but service was still awesome. He asked me if I would be having coffee this morning and I quickly said yes. He then asked me if I would like a drink for my daughter and I asked for apple juice, that’s when he asked if I would like it to be half-​and-​half. This is the first waiter ever to ask me this and I was happy about it.
We got our drinks right away and about three minutes later I was ready to order. I got the spinach omelette with the fresh fruit and my daughter got the sliver 5? The kids menu with the 5 pancakes with eggs and bacon.
He brought out my daughter’s food first which again was awesome since I didn’t ask for that to happen. It gave me a chance to cut up her eggs and pancakes before my food came out. I actually got to eat a hot meal doing this way which I try to anytime I go out!
He was very polite, friendly, and accurate with everything. Didn’t miss a beat and very quick with anything I asked for or even when I didn’t.
Only reason why I’m giving four stars and not fiveis because they ran out of fresh fruit and I had to get a substitute. I of course opted for pancakes. It definitely seems that the service has been improved greatly since the first time I ate here. Even the cooking has improved.

The parking lot has a ton of parking, so no worries there. When we walked in they had a good size waiting area. There was a wait when we got in, which was to expected for a Sunday morning. They handed us a card with a name and we had to wait to hear that name be called.
We got seated after only about 5 mins. We waited for our server and read the menu, they had a ton of options. But the wait for our server was starting to get annoying. We waited long for them then we did for our table!
But when the waiter came he was very apologetic and polite. I felt bad for him you could tell he was over whelmed by whatever behind the curtain issue was going on but he handled it the best he could and kept a smile on. He promptly took our order and got us taken care of.
We found out from listening around that everything computer wise was down. They couldn’t enter in orders, couldn’t ring people out nothing. Everything had crashed completely. Which would be why everything was taking longer than normal, so with now knowing that, our wait times are actually pretty quick!
Chris was our waiter and he was amazing, he was quick, accurate, and friendly. He handled the crazy madness very efficiently.
But I do feel that the waiter and witnesses were running around trying to hold everything together. And if there was a a manager on duty they were out of site. It would have be nice to see them helping out a little.
