Shoveling snow I seemed to have hurt my back, ice packs, heat packs, way to many aspirin. The awful pain when I’m standing up just became to much. I’ve never been to a Chiropractor before so didn’t know what to expect.
They checked me out, and gave me a mild electric stimulate alone with a heat pad for like 10 minutes. The Doc followed with several adjustments, which brought near immediate relief. He recommended several more visits to be sure the problem was solved, which I did and now two weeks later feeling great. Nice folks, took my insurance had a small co-​pay.
Much better than going to a MD. and getting nothing but pain pills that just mask the problem. They actually go after the real issue and correct it.

I have been receiving care from Dr. Hempey at the Odenton office and she is great! She takes the time to listen to me and figure out the best way to treat me. I love the adjustments and the dry needling. I am able to walk in whenever I want during their office hours, which is really great for my schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Hempey and this practice!

As someone who already has doubts about the benefits of chiropractic care, my experience with this practice did not help that opinion. Each appointment was very short, and I was strongly encouraged to return at least 3 (if not more) times per week. Don’t get me wrong — the doctors were very nice and personable; however, I felt very pushed into their treatment plan — not allowed to make my own. The final straw was being treated very rudely by the front desk when I made it clear that I could not immediately schedule a next appointment. My suggestion would be that if you are interested in finding a good chiropractor, shop around.

I have gone here since September 2007 and I still make the 30 minute drive to come here. Dr. Lindauer and Dr. DeMaio are very good and caring chiropractors. Their values are based on natural, homeopathic and holistic health care, so they will always opt for treatment before surgery. I have found that they are both attentive and competent; they will always make sure that you are comfortable since you know your body best.
Their in-​house massage therapist, Kim Trudo is really amazing. She has a gift for getting into your tight muscles and getting out the knots. I get so relaxed from her massages that I feel like lead when I try to get up. It’s an awesome, yet freaky feeling.
I have come to know their staff and they are all kind professionals. Their receptionists are friendly and helpful, their therapists are patient and talkative :) since they like to get to know you. I may have to find a new doctor to get something closer, but I really like going there.
Their waiting area is relaxing. They have an aquarium, a massage chair that I like to wait in sometimes and bunch of reading materials and a small TV. I especially like the complimentary teas they offer while waiting.
