Wendy’s

After taking forever to take our order, they proceeded to get my food wrong, twice. Food was good though.

I wish they had more dessert options but their spicy chicken sandwich was delicious and tasted fresh. They are extremely packed during lunch but they don’t take a long time to get your order out. They seem organized.

Wendy’s always has good fast food, but here the service was above and beyond!
Service: I was staying at the hotel next door to the Wendy’s. Coming from the west coast I had not adjusted to the time change and at midnight I was hungry. Galveston shuts down early and getting a taxi would have been a longer wait and hassle. So I walked next door with the hopes of Wendy’s inside restaurant being open. No it was closed as well. So when I walked through the drive thru they actually served me. That small town southern hospitality went a long way.
Food: If you have ever had Wendy’s you know exactly what to expect. Wendy’s has very tasty fast food. I actually order the chili most times at all Wendy’s. It’s rather good. I also enjoy their baked potato, because it’s not something you can get from easily without being at a sit down dinner. Their burgers and fries are good too. This «walk thru» visit I had chili and a salad. I was quite impressed with the quality of the salad.

This Wendy’s is always busy. They run it efficiently so that you don’t wait long but the staff is incredibly rude. They act like they don’t have time to take your order. The restroom has 2 stalls but has a lock on the door that sometimes gets locked so you have to wait in a very narrow hall. Today was my second time there. i wouldn’t have gone back except that my son is really picky and I know he will eat there. Also, they don’t have sweet tea. That is a big deal in the south.
