This place is incredible. Great food, service, and environment. The staff is so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend this for any healthy food lovers looking for a good place to go to on the island. Their zucchini pad thai is amazing.

My husband and I are vegans. We tried the veggie burger with greens and chips, and a miso soup with veggies and chips. My husband also got a Mean Green Smoothie. The smoothie tasted really veggie — like and the miso soup was very hearty. The atmosphere is chill and has a hippies 70s vibe. Staff at the Oasis was very kind and sociable. They have all kinds of earthy food and beauty products you can buy too.

It’s still hard for me to believe that this type of restaurant exists in Galveston. I moved away from Houston in 2010 and back in 2015. I don’t remember cafes with really cool eclectic atmospheres and great tasting healthy foods existing back in 2010. Go here. You won’t be disappointed (unless u want meat haha).

Juices are decent. I decided to try some sort of special quinoa stew and it was very good, and this is coming from someone who is a carnivore (you couldn’t pay me to eat a tomato). I was just thinking «screw it, let’s see what stuff vegan has to offer» and was somewhat surprised at how good it was. Only minor complaint is prices are a little on the higher end and that the hours should be extended. Would visit again.

I am far from being a vegetarian and was skeptical if I would like it before my first visit. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Their vegan chile is delicious, as is every other soup I’ve gotten. The sandwiches are flavorful and filling and, as a bonus, I don’t feel bloated or get heartburn two hours later. I’ve been back several times and will continue to return.

I was in Galveston for a day and looking for a nice healthy lunch spot, and found Oasis. The restaurant has a great vibe inside, and the customer service is fantastic. I got the Solar Flare (sub garlic for ginger), and it was soooo tasty — just the right amount of spiciness and so much flavor. Will definitely be back here if I’m in the area again.

Came in here on a Saturday morning for a quick juice stop. 4 drinks later (3 for my boyfriend, 1 for me lol) we stayed to just relax for a bit. Great laid back ambiance. Kathleen the owner took our order and stopped by for a chat… very sweet lady. She also owns Yoga Haven down the block. Love this place!

Amazing! Had the Rainbow Raw Pad Thai, miso soup, and the Popeye punch juice. Everything blew me away. If you care at all about your health or what you put into your body you must eat here regularly. I’m from Austin and I was so pleased to find this place during my visit.

I love this place. It’s a nice break from all the indulging that occurs around the island, but for sure you are no less indulging when you come here – they do hold to a standing a healthier way of dining and that’s always a plus to me. It’s a wiiide variety of crafty plates and with Oasis being a market as well, a neat selection of wholesome, organic treats.
My favourite is their vegan waffle topped with mixed berries. It blew me away and it instantly became my marker that I will be a regular here! Soft (yeah, I like my waffles soft, not crunchy) and you can get a half waffle and still have it vegan. I’m not 100% vegan but the fact that a restaurant can adjust to my preference makes it a topper for me. This restaurant is like my kitchen away from my kitchen! (only, they’re better…)
Anyway, if you’re looking for a healthy and mindblowing delicious meals IN a chill environment, Oasis is the place to be.

Cozy «organic» place with no table service. Usual selection of wheatgrass and «mean and green» juices. Pleasant staff.
Ah, but the fatal blow…“we don’t take American Express.” This suggests. a concern for cutting corners and cost rather than a care for customer service, a good manager will see that the few extra pennies associated with «taking» American Exprress will pay off in attracting a more affluent clientele who might spend more money there purchasing some of the other stuff they offer. Management should think of AMEX costs as part of their advertising budget.
Final blow: No bacon with breakfast menu although they do offer salmon flesh. Wife’s smoothie was great. I waited to get some eggs Benedict from The Sunflower Bakery… yes they serve bacon AND «take» AMEX.

Finally a healthy place in Galveston! This place offers an alternative to the numerous unhealthy brunch places with a wide variety of smoothies, juices, sandwiches, salads, eggs, and waffles. Have come here a couple of times and enjoyed it each time, though can definitely be on the pricier side! The waffles are amazing with a choice between banana and coconut and fresh berries. I got the one with fresh berries and it definitely did not disappoint. The avocado sprout sandwich is also really good.
Being a vegetarian this place is great as there are numerous vegetarian and vegan options! Main downfalls of this place are very limited hours and somewhat high prices. Will definitely be back!

Looking for a super healthy bite, COME HERE. Unfortunately they close at 4, but if you get there before closing, you’ll be very happy you did. I come here after a workout for either my meals or just refreshing smoothing/​juice made straight from fruits and vegetables– nothing added.
They have both a set menu and a changing daily special– I once had a really delicious veggie and beans soup. Their veggie burger is really tasty as well– made sometimes with quinoa, other times with lentils. Always loaded with good protein and vegetables.
My favorite smoothie is the Orange You Glad– sooooo delicious!
The store also sells a lot of products, almost all vegan and gluten free. This includes more than just food too.

So I’ve gotten hooked on juicing in the morning, so on my recent visit to Galveston I had to stop by this place b/​c of the reviews. Seems like a little mom and pop run shop and the service was just like you expect in that type of place. The lady working the front was extremely kind and friendly and helped me choose the Popeye Punch after a long night out with friends. It took a little long to make one juice, but the place had just opened for the day and I could tell they were getting things in order.
They also seemed to have a large selection of organic goodies and things around the place if you are in that type of thing.
