Jamaica Beach RV Park

This is a fantastic RV park! It is super clean, lots of things to do onsite — putt putt, volleyball, tether ball, large chess, two pools — one with swim up bar and one with hot tub, an infinity spa, etc. its awesome! 15 minutes from Galveston, like about 5 minutes to the beach :) Easy reservation and check in. The sites are large and well maintained. Will definitely be returning to this one… check it out!

Just took our 2 ½ year old twin Granddaughters to Jamaica Beach RV Park. Had a wonderful time! This is the place to stay. Everything is as clean as the pictures show. Actually, it is prettier than the pictures because the azaleas are bigger and prettier. Staff is very friendly. Looking for a great RV Park, stay here!

This is a fantastic resort! Adults only pool & spa (plus a family pool & splash pad), clean restrooms, and awesome staff. It is family friendly and clean. The sites are in great shape and easy to navigate. I will return this season for sure!

My favorite Rv park to stay at!!! Owners are amazing and accommodating. Our home away from home. Very kid friendly. Very clean as well!

This is one of our top picks. It has two pools and two hot tops. One hot top is a huge one that is adult only. It has many blow up water slides and jump houses that are open from 1pm till 530pm. They do have the best putt putt you will find at a camp ground ($ 3 fee per person). The owners are really nice. The drive to the beach is 3 minutes and it is VERY clean. This is a great RV park and we will be back July 5^th 2015 for another 4 days of fun.
The only negatives we found is the fishing in the pond is not good, at least with the bait we had. Also making a reservation can be hard but only because its a great park and very popular.

I can’t rave enough about the cleanliness of the park! The showers, bathrooms, and dog park was very clean! We played putt putt and utilized the spa! Everyone was friendly! They have 2 pools, 2 spas, movie rentals in the honest system, Putt putt, water balloon game, and golf cart rentals.

I’m not normally one for private RV parks, preferring to rough it most of the time. However, since Galveston neglects cleaning their beaches of tons of seaweed, the state park is not the place to be.
This RV park is a luxury. It has two beautiful pools. One has a swim up bar. It also has a massive enclosed spa and a smaller open spa for relaxing. The bar pool changes over to adults only after 6pm so you can enjoy your drinks without pool noodles knocking over your drink. :)
The owners are constantly driving around checking on everything, making sure everyone is happy.
The putt putt golf course is very challenging and fun.
All the spaces are pull thrus and that makes life so much easier.
They have two giant turtles and two alpaca which are fun to watch.
If you do want to go to the beach, it is across the road and they have a special access point.

Great place to stay while vacationing in Galveston. Friendly staff and so many fun things to do here. All around fun place for grown ups and the kids. Don’t want to leave and definitely will be back!:)

This was our first time camping in a pop up. Park is great and the staff was very friendly. Kids loved the pool, mini golf course, and nightly movies. Wife and I enjoyed the spacious indoor spa. This will be our go to park when we stay in Galveston from now on.

I have to admit I read the other review on here and said «man, maybe I made a mistake».
I. Was. Very wrong.
This place has a TON of new sites, they have a new pool area (see pictures), moved the alpacas to a new area, redid the putt putt course, added pizza and wings to the main office with free delivery anywhere in the park and nice green grass sites.
Now are these sites huge? No, this isn’t a state park from the 80’s where they have 10 sites and a huge area to play in. You have the beach and two pool areas to go to. Shouldn’t complain about narrow sites. Hell I have seen houses built closer than these sites.
The management here is nice and they keep this place CLEAN. The new bathrooms are spotless, smell fresh and are awesome. I even skipped my camper shower to shower there. And you know I am picky based on my other reviews.
The dog area is well grassed in and clean. Apparently a lot of things change in two years.
Don’t judge any place by one review. This place is a gem and my family and I will most definitely come back. Sure the beach isn’t touching the park, but maybe we as a whole should take more walks with our family to the beach. It isn’t far. Don’t be lazy now.

I was appalled at the state of this RV park. I was expecting so much more due to the misleading pictures on the website that portray Jamaica Beach as a resort. The mini-​golf was quite pricey considering there is another mini-​golf closer to the city of Galveston that would actually be worth the price. The petting zoo was merely some alpacas in poor conditions out behind a fence. The RV park itself is not on the beach, and sites were very close together making it hard to maneuver in and out. We could hardly fit the towing vehicle in with the camper. The park was a little grimy and mosquitoes were a problem. Bathrooms and showers were covered in accusatory signs punctuated by grammatical errors – A business should at least instill some trust in the customer. Pool was gross – hair was floating around in the water and it was murky looking. The shower they expected to be used before entering the pool was scalding hot with no way to adjust the temperature and merely a HOSE. The dog run was littered the poop that other owners did not feel the need to pick up. Also, the owners themselves could not follow their own directions. Jamaica Beach visitors should not have laundry out to dry for aesthetic reasons but I guess the owners can throw clothes out over the banister anytime.
One good thing, they have an option to order a pizza from the office with unlimited toppings and we were quite satisfied with ours. They also have movies to rent.
When we return we are staying at a RV park down the street which will be on the beach with larger sites and perhaps professional owners. Overall Jamaica Beach RV park was disappointing.
