Gone to the Dogs Grooming and Boarding

Tried this place since it was in my town and I was laid up from surgery. I spoke with the owner and asked for a Schnauzer cut (I have a mini Schnauzer mix). A very short back trim and leave skirt, but trim beard just a little. My father took her in since I was stuck in bed. What I got was a choppy cut with a few sgraggly leg hairs and most of her beard cut off! They told him they can’t make hair grow. I was blown away when he told what they said. Funny thing is her hair was already 2 inches long (wish I could post a pic to show how she used to look as proof). Needless to say I will never return. The nice web site was very misleading (especially the Schnauzer photo). Retail groomers do what you ask for same price, so I will just stick with them. Now I have to wait months for the choppy bad groom job to grow out before I can have it redone. I guess I have to chalk this one up to live and learn. UPDATE: It’s been many, many, months and my dog’s leg hair has hardly grown back! I am pretty mad about this. Either closely watch this place groom your pet or stay away!

Took my yorkie to be groomed here after having a bad experience with her prior groomer and was so happy with result and experience! This is the only place I will be taking her to go now. Very friendly, great service, and affordable! If your looking for grooming needs, def bring your pet here.
