Don’t know if food is edible, it never came, never saw waitress again… Have not gone back to try again, heard same experience from another person, so, could be same employee, have heard good things about food tho

The burger lunch specials are great however if you plan on drinking at the bar at night make sure you bring cash. The waitress said my two drinks was $ 12 and she swiped my credit card and I wrote $ 15 including tip. The next day when i checked my bank statement it said they charged me $ 17. I don’t care about the 2 dollars but it’s the principal. Her stupidity has made me not go in there anymore.

Love Courtside. Live in Florida but when I come back to visit I always want to go to Courtside for the great atmosphere, food and visiting old friends

When in Galipolis, you have to go to the local dive bar. It looks like a pool hall with bar and separate seating section and is family friendly (several others had kids in the seated section). Service is average… despite sitting at the bar my wait was slow and a different patron left his table to order at the bar. Nevertheless, the food is great! I had the stuffed pepper special today, and previously had the prime rib special. Both were very good! Definitely worth coming back

Just had the most amazing prime rib nothing really fancy just seasoned right and cooked perfect… It was so tender you cut it with a fork. My only complaint was no rolls or bread who wants to eat a pound of meat with no bread… It reminded me of how good prime rib was supposed to be when it was done right. I think they may only do prime rib on saterdays… The wait staff was really friendly and good aswell. They said it was under new management so some of the earlier poor reviews were probably from last owners…

My partner and I both got burgers for lunch on Wednesday here. I got the bacon burger with American cheese. It was decent, even though it only had one small piece of bacon. My partner had the mushroom burger which was slimy. The actual burgers were bland and the buns seemed like Walmart store bought. The patty was about a ¼ pound. The fries seemed fresh but bland. Small fry portion.
We had to wait a few minutes for ketchup and mustard while the server talked to someone which was frustrating because we had our food in from of us. She was nice and fast for the rest of the meal.
Their beer menu was good compared to the rest of town. Huge dance floor and pool tables. You don’t really have many options in town so this was decent.

Food is good sometimes. Takeout is usually incorrect. I’ve had too many miserable servers and ridiculous wait times on food, so I don’t dine in anymore. I requested different side dishes due to an allergy and was told by the server that the management doesn’t care and refuses to allow them to trade things out. She also laughed at me when I asked for a customized sandwich. I’m not hard to please, but this place is pretty lousy. It has a lot of potential, so it’s a real shame.

Real good food. Great choice for dinner. The front is a nice restaurant the back side is more of a sports bar. Lots of tv’s to watch a game on. The baked spaghetti is very good. The breaded mushrooms are good to. Once it gets late the DJ music in the back is a little too loud for me, but that is not till after 10pm or so.

My girlfriend/​partner and I were starving when we hit this place last night. We’re staying in Gallipolis for a genealogy conference and after a moderately long trip from New Albany, we wanted some good eats. This place seemed like a good place to go at 9pm, as it had a little bit of a nightlife sports bar kind of feel. I ate a pulled pork sandwich with fries and my girl had a chicken sandwich and chips. We shared a salad. The fries were decent, not cooked in old oil, I don’t believe. The chips were soggy and not good. My partner asked for cheese and, instead of bringing some real cheese, our server brought us two pieces of American cheese. It’s not bad for some people, but we just like REAL cheese. The pork sandwich was a little dry, but not too bad. It wasn’t a real tasty sauce. I had a nice sweet tea, but this place is a beer place. I liked that there was a poster on the wall of Fenway Park and Muhammad Ali. The servers were kind of hanging out at the front of the place, where we were sitting, which was a little odd, but I guess it was quieter where we were sitting, away from all the sports fans and beer drinkers in the middle section of the place. I give it two stars, because I’ve experienced better, but I still tipped our server $ 6 on $ 18, because she did check on us and was decently attentive. I thought she did a decent job, other than the American cheese part. I’d say that Gallipolis could do better.

Ask for their popular dishes, picking stuff from the menu is a hit or miss. The steak and salad was lacking a bit of flavor. Overall a nice joint though.

Average joint with below-​average burgers. I drowned mine in ketchup, then dipped it in BBQ in order to find some flavor. Had the BBQ the time before and it was decent though, but still average. Oh well.

Good quality food, pretty decent selection of draft beers.
They also have 6 – 7 «specialty» mixed drinks. You know, the kind that come in neon colors and have novelty names.
The menu has everything from steaks, to sandwiches, to burgers — everything was good!
This place is HUGE and was pretty full the night we were there. I’d definitely say this is one of the better places to eat in Gallipolis.
