I had The Chocolate Covered Strawberry Café the first time today and it was very good. The Monte Cristo was like heaven! The cookie bar was awesome! The only complaint I have is my side of the table was sticky from beginning to end. And my dad got a refill of unsweet tea with no ice. But other than that, fantastic!

It was clean and the people were friendly so I want to rate it higher, but I cannot based off of how limited their menu was. There is really nothing on there for people who are trying to make healthier choices and not really a lot of ways to change current menu items to make it healthier. They’re not big on allowing substitutions. Many things on their menu are very sweet (I understand that’s their theme and most love that) but something a bit healthier would be nice. I’ll go back to take my kids, just not when I’m actually hungry and dieting!

I really enjoyed my first dining experience at The Chocolate Covered Strawberry in Gallatin, TN. The staff was really nice and helpful. The waitress was friendly and offered great suggestions. I enjoyed the Egg Salad Sandwich and a Mixed Green Strawberry Salad with a Strawberry Vigarette dressing. The Chocolate Covered Strawberry was delicious! I enjoyed the environment and will return in the future.

A Nashville area, one of a kind, original. Love this place! A house made into a restaurant. This is their larger, new location. Super casual as you’ll tell by getting your coke in the can and chips in a bag. Hugely popular with locals, especially women, but guys should give the place a try despite the French country décor. The chicken blt has some sort of a bacon pesto on a crescent roll that rocks! I hear people at other tables rave about the side salads. Fried p, b & j — messy awesomeness!!! And, of corse, the chocolate covered strawberry with every meal. It can get busy at lunch rush, but if you go, you will go back.

Very busy and very popular in town. I was visiting family in the area and wanted a non-​chain place to grab bite to eat. Great atmosphere with wonderful food. Great sandwich selection and combos that you just do not find at other places. I was a little disappointed with the tea selection. I felt like I have better options at home! Overall, great place with friendly staff.

My ladies’ group met here today for lunch. Good soup, great salads and sandwiches. Every order comes with a chocolate covered strawberry. Excellent and cheerful service. Cute décor, some of which can be bought in their gift shop.
Call ahead if you have a large group.

This place was paced for lunch so it seems to be a very popular place in town.
The sandwiches were delicious and there were lots of creative combinations to pick from.
The strawberry spritzer was a delicious beverage.
However the tea was very disappointing for a tea room! There was no list of all the flavors… They give u a basket of random teas that are not gourmet… They are Lipton and other varieties you can pick up at the local grocery story.
They need to step it up on their teas… But the chocolate strawberry that comes with each meal is a great delicacy!

Love the sandwiches. My favorite is one honey of a sandwich. So yummy. The pretzel jello is also delightful.

I went on Thursday with my sis and then again with my Mom on Friday! It was that delicious. The quiche was amazing and the fruit tea was wonderful. The service was by mostly young college girls who were really on the ball. Excellent service and the place was expertly run. Lots of «ladies who lunch,» families with small children, & mom and daughter duos. The only request that I would make is that the noise level be controlled. Otherwise, a 5 star would be my rating.

This is such a unique restaurant that has great service, food and atmosphere. Whether you eat here during winter or summer you will have a wonderful. Then top off your meal with a chocolate covered strawberry.

If you are in the Nashville area you have got to try this place!!!

The bathroom is dreamy. I wanted to invite company in. I didn’t have enough time to truly enjoy it but the moment I walked in I texted four friends who have daughters and announced that we must bring them. I fell in love with the sausage and potato soup that my waitress let me sample. She was amazing; remembered and fulfilled my Sally-​esque requests.
The prices were very fair, and I thought, «I could have spent the same money at a quickie chain and would have missed out on a lovely experience.»
The only cautions are to diabetics, those turned off by things that look nasty even if they taste delicious, and people who get lost easily. Example of the first: The chicken salad was incredibly sweet., and I’m glad I ordered it undressed. Example of the second: I won’t even say what the apple cinnamon salad looked like, but one might need to close her eyes to eat it. Rationale for the third: It’s a house with a lot of rooms and activity, and the hostess stand is not obvious. I think it’s intentional to inspire browsing.
My only other note is that the mixed greens in the salad are the mild kind with inoffensive lettuce.

Great food & fun place to go with a group of ladies. Great dessert! Highly recommend for a fun lunch.

Love the lasagna soup and the Italian wedding soup. The chopped and topped salad with a scoop of chicken salad is delicious. Beautiful quaint atmosphere with delicious lunches!

Its a drive from where i stay but worth it!
Soooo valentines day was vastly approaching and my lady loves chocolate covered strawberries! So my job as her MAN,.HER DADDY,.HER NUMBER 1 HITTA… was to make sure she had the best tasting strawberries in town! Easier said then done cause my baby is PICKY about what she eats!
I did some research on-​line and some word of mouth about this location that serves gourmet chocolate strawberries so i made the 30 min drive out that way. First of all I like the setup inside. It had a homely feel to it probably cause it resembled a home inside with an upstairs area to shop. I really liked the outside sitting area where you can have lunch weather permitting. I ordered 12 chocolate covered strawberries and they were given to me in a nice little pink box with a little bow on top.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even gave me tips on how to preserve the strawberries freshness until Valentines day arrived. Bottom line my boo LOVED them on valentines day and mentioned on several times how good they were! And in case your wondering yes i had a whole weekend planned that turned out Great! Can’t go into detail cause this is a PG-​13 site: but … YEA I’M THE MANNNNN BAD BOY… TAKE THAT!:)
I’m looking forward to possibly having lunch out there one day to see if the small selection of food is decent but for now I AM A FAN!

The service is fast and friendly, but not pushy. The food is wonderful, but a little on the light portion side for a larger than average male.
My favorite dish is the Monte Crist with the pasta salad and probably the best part is the delicious chocolate covered strawberry served with the meal! If it means a smaller portion for the addition of the strawberry, I am ok with that!

Wait staff is good. Food that is prepared is great, but that ends it. Meals come with chips in a bag, really! Place tries to dress up a sandwich and changes more. The variety on the menu is nice and my son could have eaten it all at once. Strawberries do make a nice gift.
When you pay you have to go through the gift shop., just one more chance to spend more.
