K & B Laundromat & Dry Cleaners

Well, I’ll write a review while I’m waiting on my clothes to finish washing. Let me first say that this is my first review on Unilocal,and I’m excited to start reviewing businesses, especially those in my local community.
I’ll start off by saying I don’t know anything about washing clothes (that’s your parents job, right?) After a night of partying and puking all over my bed, I thought it best to take the clothes and bed spread to a laundry mat, so I wouldn’t have to tell my parents why there was puke all over my things.
I always drive past this laundry mat, but have never been in which is why I chose to come here. The building is nicer than the other one I know of in town. Upon entering, I found the service desk. Since I had absolutely no idea what to do, I kindly asked the woman for assistance and told her what happened. Even though it really wasn’t her job, she helped me pick out detergent and some bounce sheets. Then before washing the clothes, she looked at tags and helped me sort the different colors into two machines. She then helped me add the soap, choose the water temp, and start the machines. I even had a red shirt that couldn’t be washed with the other colors, so she offered to hand wash it for me. By this point I felt bad because of all she had done for me
The washers are just about done, so I’ll finish up this review when I get out to my car…
Well, we got the clothes out of the washer, put them into the dryers, and now all my things are clean and smell great! I’m glad she was there to help with the dryers too because I have a bed cover containing plastic that would have been ruined if I put it in the dryer with heat.
The service here was beyond courteous, and the woman was extremely helpful! I like that she didn’t just do the laundry for me, but she actually took the time to explain what to do for next time. I hope I never have to do this again under the same circumstances, but if I do then I know I’ll be coming back here!
