Country stores like this are getting harder and harder to find. This mercantile exists as the nearly sole source of groceries, fuel and food for miles around. You can get ice cream, pizza, wheel-​cut cheese or a cold drink as you meander through shelves of souvenirs and groceries. If it werent for the 7 day/​week devotion of its owners I doubt this store would survive. Stop by and say hello and enjoy the peace and quiet of downtown Germania. When I am in the area I always stop in — even if I don’t need anything. Americana at its best!
