Ink & Stamp with Sue was one of my final stops while wandering around Galena on the day after Christmas. I really enjoyed the fantastic selection in the shop which included scrap-booking, stamping, and other various and sundry art supplies and gifts. I liked that this shop felt less ridiculous and over-the-top to me than the close-by Poopsie’s. I felt welcomed by the sales associates but not pushed to purchase something. I ended up finding a really fun coloring book, and the sales associates helped me look into markers and colored pencils that would work with the book. When we couldn’t find just the right item for me to purchase with the book, they did not try to aggressively upsell, which I appreciated.

A great shop — inspiring, fun to browse in and with a broad range of really high quality things. I saw something I’d never seen before(Zentangle) and had a really nice conversation with the saleswoman. I got top quality pens and paper and good advice. Even my husband enjoyed browsing. I’ll be back!!!

This is a lovely store for people who like browsing in interesting store — and it’s a great place to pick up a few fun items for Christmas stockings or other fun gifting needs. The front half of the store is a combination of art supply, and fun stuff — little finger puppets, kits, doodads of all sorts. They also have a lovely selection of higher end pends, for those that enjoy a nice writing tool. Scrapbooking/cardmaking is the focus at the back of the store and is really a fun place to poke around. Check out their ribbon selection — smallish, but quite lovely. Customer service is always pleasant, but not pushy. Would I recommend: Yes, to anyone for the front of the store, and the backend for anyone who scrapbooks, cardmakes or who is shopping for such. Would I return: Yes — I always enjoy this store.
