Churchill & Burns

I am not a smoker but my boyfriend is, and he loves this place. They have a very wide range of cigars and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. The also have some other great products like old fashion camera’s and other men products for their grooming needs.

Churchill & Burns is a neat shop in downtown Galena. Carrying several types of tobacco and men’s items, it’s a nice place to stop and at least look at what they have. Here you can purchase everything from badger hair shaving brushes, to quality men’s cologne to tobacco.
Having worked in a tobacco store for a while and being a big cigar/​pipe man myself I was very interested in this store. If you’re a normal cigar smoker this place will definitely be a place for you. They have 2 walk-​in humidors full of poplar brands of cigars (CAO, Ashton, Padron, Punch, etc). However if you’re looking for Davidoffs, Padron Anniversary or Ashton VSGs you may need to look somewhere else.
Their pipe tobacco collection is also pretty much restricted to bulk aromatics. No English blends that I could see and definitely no tins of Dunhill.
However, this is just me being a bit picky. The store is very nice and clean, doesn’t smell like smoke (if you think that’s a good thing), the staff is nice and knowledgable, and they have a wide selection of items.
Always something to see, not always something to buy. But if you want a cigar while you go on a walk downtown, stop by C&B first.
