We’ve ordered from them before and the food is good. However, it took more than two hours for them to deliver our order tonight. We live less than a mile away.

Great lunch after snowzilla! Highly recommend the Greek salad and homemade hummus! :)

Amazing food is all I can say and great service! Best of both worlds, I ordered the mango lasse while waiting for my food it was so good. I ordered the butter chicken and combo 2! Delicious!!!

We really enjoyed the food here. The chicken wings are more like fried chicken and we didn’t mind it at all. We’re planning on coming back for more! The chai is good too. The owner was very nice and welcoming.

I have had delivery, lunch buffet, and I’ve eaten in the restaurant for dinner. The veggies here are the specialty — excellent flavor and fresh spices. Also there is an emphasis on healthy cooking. I always come here when I’m in the area! Owners are super friendly.

I love this place!!! Like eating in Mom’s kitchen… quaint and endearing. Tons of choices even buffalo wings on the menu look tasty but let’s stick to the standards. I started with the grape leaves (8) and for $ 3.99 they were plump and fresh and soooooo tasty. I eat grape leaves all of the time and these babies were not from a can for sure. I got the Chicken kabob platter and they were tender and great spices. They will ask you do you want your naan buttered and toasted and taste incredible with side salad optional I got.
The basmati rice is sooooooo fluffy and tasty better than I’ve had that I can remember.
Aysha is the hostess with the mostest very friendly and quick to give advice on the menu and will tell you all about the benes of Water in a Box!!! Will definitely be back to try buffet and other choices.

Had a salmon and beef kabob combo with masala tea. It is perfect. We will be back to try out the lunch buffet again soon.

My family and I had the lunch buffet. For $ 6.99, the price can’t be beat. The buffet included several vegan, gluten free, and chicken options. They are very conscientious of dietary restrictions and work hard to ensure their guests have a great experience. The food was hot and delicious. The service was really friendly and personable. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant is wonderful-​the place is clean, food is delicious and flavorful and the absolute best server I have had in awhile– the young man who was our server was courteous and friendly! We definitely will be back!!!

Horrible management, after we sat down and getting ready to order, the waitress asked my 7 years old daughter how old she was (really) what kind of operation would be allowed to interrogate kids to see if they fit the kids menu. I can understand if someone looks 15 and ordering from the kids menu, but my daughter was 7 and looks 7 and to embarrass her as she is getting ready to order, how and what kids think when they encounter this experience? It only makes them guess (did I do or about to do something wrong! But in anyway I won’t be coming to this establishment, they don’t deserve any business. At least mine.

I come here often before because of convenience and I would’ve rated them 3 stars. I came back today and right off the bat I noticed a significant change in service. I ordered my lamb kabob combo like before and it came out significant better. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and I spoke with staff and she explained that they started mixing everything same day. She also said soon they will be using vegetables from an organic garden. Keep up the good work! I’ll be back

This past weekend, my family and I ordered dinner here. I got steak and ground beef kabobs, my wife got the chicken biriyani, and my kids got the butter chicken. We had to throw the butter chicken and the biriyani away because it was just really bad. The kabobs were edible, but very dry. Definitely not $ 50 since we then ordered pizza afterward.
The cashier (the daughter of the owners) told us that they are starting a $ 6.99 lunch buffet this week. I thought on Thursday, how bad could it be? So I went alone for the lunch buffet. The food was OKAY. Nothing fancy. The tandoori chicken was too salty for my tastes and it took 15 minutes and two reminders for them to bring out the naan (which, btw was actually quite excellent and fresh). They had an «out of order» sign for the fountain drinks and would not offer tap water to anyone. They were FORCING their customers to buy bottled drinks and serving food that is too salty. Umm… yeah, so I get up to pay because I was thirsty (not full), and she charges me $ 7.99 + tax. I reminded her (same cashier) that SHE told me to come during the week for the $ 6.99 buffet. She makes the excuse that the banner has not arrived (this is four business days later) and REFUSED to honor her word. I am NOT HAPPY with this place.
On top of everything, one of the owners (the cashier’s father) was sitting there writing a real estate contract with a client. I have no problems with conducting business at a restaurant, but dude, this is YOUR place of business. YOUR restaurant. Your daughter is basically disregarding a customer. And you are sitting there working on your OTHER business. Nice. Too bad because this place is really close to my home.
They get 2 stars simply because the naan was so fantastic.

Great food the Aryan– yogurt drink was awesome so was the salad, pulao and kebab.

This place was pretty good. It’s not as good as that of the splendid Metro Dhaba, and one can easily tell that the previous two reviews for this jaunt were written by Silver Spoon cronies.
I got the daal lentil, which comes with a bunch of saffron rice and a side salad. The yellow lentils had a good amount of spice and complex flavors. It’s relatively inexpensive, and I recommend this dish. I felt transported to a Punjabi festival. Any time I eat Indian food, I embark on the spiritual journey of a lifetime.
Silver Spoon is good for those who continue to live in our mothers’ basements. It’s one of those places that men love. Enjoy for now

I have loved this place since it opened. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been good. Even my kids like it. Grape leaves. Hummus. Aloo panak. Fish kabobs. Chicken kabobs.
I’ve never been there for the lunch buffet. I may try that next.
I think there’s newish owners. It had been a while since I’d been there and the ace looked real nice inside. And the owner wS very attentive and friendly.
They seem to do a great take out business too.

Great food! Had the chicken gyro and the veggie samosas… Have to say. It was extremely filling. The owner was very humble and friendly, and even brought out the chicken on the kabob to show it to me sizzling. Foods great, and the service was great. What more can you ask for?

Ok people, please ease up. This isn’t a 4-​star restaurant. It is what it is: the best lunch buffet offering in Gaithersburg. You get tandoori chicken piping hot out of the tandoor oven, fresh naan every 5 minutes, Punjab eggplant, cabbage, potato pancake, chicken curry, salad, fruit, along with halva and rice pudding dessert — all for under $ 10. This is a much healthier offering than McD’s, pizza, sub shops, Chinese and other nearby offerings– which are all pretty lame. Best to come between 11 and 2 pm for the buffet, although I have had the Chicken Jalfarezi, butter chicken and combination kebab after buffet hours an it is all fairly good. But the buffet is a much better value.
They also do a superb job with catering events. They made a ground chicken kebab lunch and baklava dessert for a new members event at my church on short notice, and it was outstanding. I got many compliments on the exotic spices and rich flavor.

At first I was skeptical about ordering delivery from here because of all the bad reviews, but I have to say, it’s some of the best kabobs I’ve eaten! Took apx 50 mins for delivery. The food arrived HOT and fresh. Big portions. Everything was seasoned to perfection! Will def be ordering from here again. Highly recommend this place!
