If you’re looking for brand names, I would says this place is a no. The womens section was underwhelming, however I got my boyfriend some nice Izod swim shorts for $ 12.99. It was clean but like I mentioned the quality and kind of brands is below subpar. I won’t be back.

So at the last minute my friends invite me to an all white party, so I have a time crunch and I cant haul ass to Tysons Corner Mall. So I heard that you can get bargain clothes for cheap. So I find the perfect white outfit for me. cute jeans and a blouse for $ 15. I make my rounds and I see Soffe shorts. u know cheerleader shorts for 2.99! Im like oh yeah, they had it almost every color and tank tops in different colors too. They carry alot of the urban designers like Applebottoms but who in their right mind still wears that? They have plenty of hoochie mama outfits. Shoes are a mess. They do have nice maxi dresses and sane outfits. But you do have to look twice because people tend to be really messy here by that I mean, they will leave their grubby handprints on the clothes. Lipstick and foundation stains of the shirts. Lord, do not go in the dressing room unless you go dressed in bio hazard gear. They are a lot cheaper than Ross, TJs and Marshalls but again, like I wrote in other reviews. I do not know what it is about Montgomery County, but people treat the stores like a trash dump. Clothes are thrown everywhere, merchandise everywhere. It makes the store look really bad. I feel bad for the clerks who have be like maids. Because no matter how much they will pick up and refold some douche bag with no home training will allow clothes to fall down to the ground and not give a damn. I have been to the ones in College Park and Frederick and I dont see this non sense. Most of the staff are nice but seem drained, I would be too if I had to come to work and play maid. My word of advice, before you wear your clothes, wash wash wash and dry your clothes. Something about this location makes me itch.

You know how sometimes you find an article of clothing at a store and think«who would buy this ugly thing?» and then a few months later, you find that shirt marked down 75% at Ross or TJ Maxx? Well…when Ross and TJ Maxx can’t sell it(because it’s really just that awful), it makes it’s way to Rugged Warehouse to go die. However, that’s not to say that it’s not without it’s gems. You have to dig, and about 95% of the clothes sold here really cater to people who feel that crotchless panties are too demur *shudder*, but once you get past these things… you can on occasion find Theory, Express, The Limited and Timberland items on the serious crazy cheap(of course, considering that the reason that they are here is because they couldn’t sell them when they first came out… or when they landed at Ross… you probably should re-think buying it). Oh, and if you *do* buy anything, be sure to wash them before wearing(I shudder to think who has been trying on those clothes)…and it may be wise to purell your hands just on general principle.

All I can say, I have been shopping here since High School. As Katie C. said you can find the whole outfit here & for a decent price. But the only thing the sales associates are not to nice. I love this place. I go to everyone college park, laurel & gaithersburg. If there are anymore in the area, please let me know. Would love to go & explore.

I would have never discovered this store had it not been in the same center as other businesses I go to often, but I’m very glad I did. Now, I go often and to others in the chain as well. The best and biggest is in Frederick, with Laurel second and this one third. It’s a mix — with a large variation. You have to search — but where else can you buy things like 7 jeans or Lucky’s for $ 19, Ann Taylor Loft for $ 5 — $ 10 or Juicy Couture for $ 10 to $ 20. They also have been known to have Ed Hardy, Express, Theory, and more. Check the racks, because even if the brand isn’t prominently displayed on the top, you may find a gem hanging there that isn’t featured on the sign. They also have lots of Nike, Champion, and other active wear for way under any price you’ll see even at stores like Marshall’s and Ross. I’ve also bought brand-name sweats and hoodies for $ 1 to $ 3 each at times. They sell men’s wear, women’s, juniors, and kids — apparel, lingerie and shoes. Caregivers and medical workers can find scrubs for $ 5 each piece. They have great deals on shoes and boots as well. Some of their selections are probably best reserved for Halloween costumes, but they will surprise you with name brands found in the higher end department stores at a fraction of the price. They always have Timberland, Nike and Reebok as well, but usually they aren’t an amazing value unless they’ve marked them down further. I just purchased 2 pairs of platform sandals for $ 14 total —($ 7 each). It’s not a place for professional attire or ‘going out’ clothes — but for active wear — casual — fun clothes for yourself or the kids for school — it’s great. Make sure to check your items thoroughly, as some things may have small tears or missing buttons. All is new, but some are seconds. They mark things even further down often and get new things in almost daily, which is why it is advisable to check often.

Yes, this place is organized! For the most part at least. It’s like another Ross, TJMaxx, or Marshall’s, but with less overhead and great prices. I got a crew neck sweater from here for $ 1. They have clothing for kids, juniors, ladies, and gents. Oh, and my bf is a fan of prices for basketball shoes. The manager is cool. He let me return items without tags that I got from another store. They also sell home décor, accessories, and bags. My favorite Rugged Wearhouse however, is the one located in Laurel.

OK so if you are a woman looking to dress up like Jodie Foster as a child hooker in Taxi Driver — then this is your spot. Seriously, I put the whole outfit together… hat, short shorts, sunglasses, glitter halter top, platform sandals… ANYWAYS –That said they have unbelievable cheap prices you just have to do lots and lots of digging. If you are bigger than a size 8 you must REALLY dig — but the prices make it worth it. The prices are really really really good. They do get in great shoes(ecco, born, etc.) most are under $ 15, and they have random housewares — we bought an awesome HUGE Guinness metal clock for our bar for only $ 5& my partner swears by their men’s section. I think the one in College Park is better and the one in Laurel is the best and the largest…
